>> yes. >> what would you do if you saw fire works, say, hidden in a drawer or cabinet? >> if i saw fire works boy go somewhere, safe. >> the local hospital is not releasing his name, or his condition. >> a mother and her male companion are under arrest this evening, accused of killing the father of her children. officers found the 35-year-old inside of an apartment in richmond last night the kids lived with their father. they're safe tonight but their disappearance triggered an amber alert. >> they're in good hands and good spirits we'll maybing sure they receive proper needs that we're looking into their health. >> police say it appears that shooting took place at the father's home on 16th street. >> police believe a teen-aged gunman killed himself after shooting a student to death. a p.e.teacher also suffered minor wounds. detectives are not ready to reveal his name the shooting sent the school into lock down. students hid inside of the classrooms >> told to get down. >> i was scared like oh, this is happening. this is real. i couldn't believe it. >> you hope it doesn't happen close to you. but you know... it's a kid. >> it's the 44th school shooting since the massacre at sandy hook elementary school in 2012. >> police announced arrests following a pair of shooting that's wounded two small children. witnesses say two people shot at each other after 5:00 in the afternoon. police arrested both gunman. the other shooting took place inside of a home on 83 avenue. . >> oakland is a city known for activism. there no cause more important than safety and welfare of our children. so i call on people to report illegal gun possession >> all victims are expected to survive. >> there are new details this evening in the case of a man murdered after a minor fender bender. police say two men got out and confronted him. one man fired a shot that killed him. now, police and the mother believe someone knows who did it. nick smith is live tonight with the latest on this investigation. nick?
