and landslides caused by rains are slowing down rescue efforts. japan's had also started erupting after the quakes. there was appear accident last off story road. victim was a 19-year-old man. several cross is helping three adults and a child driven from their home by the fire. investigators are trying to determine what sparked the the flames. >> a well-known winemaker died yesterday in yount mill. dennis mall back was driving on washington street in napa when his car went off a road and hit a had presence and trees. it happened around 1:10 saturday morning near highway 29. he was pronounced dead at the scene. another winemaker, josh phelps, was the passenger in the car. he was not hurt but taken to the hospital as a precaution. the chp said it's unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved. good out there now, but still compared to yesterday we are warmer. four to five degrees warmer from oakland to hayward. even san jose and livermore about three degrees of warming. so once again, with very little breeze out there, high pressure builds and we are going to look for a sun and warmer day today. cooling comes into tomorrow in the form of a sea breeze, and then looks like we are going to see a more organized system bring widespread rain and some models bringing san francisco about a half-inch of rain for friday. that would be some good news, some bonus rain. but we have a beach hazard statement to pass along through today. now the large sneaker waves certainly a concern from sonoma to monterey with five to six foot wave heights. very dangerous and temperatures at the beach today in the upper 70s. so we will be looking at beach forecast definitely from half moon bay to montero, pacifica. and with the very light breeze today it's going to stay pretty mild throughout the afternoon. into san francisco a few degrees warmer today for 78 degrees. 83 for oakland. it was 80 yesterday. and over in walnut creek mid-80s. heading out toward antioch, 86 today. a warm afternoon. and in yosemite it won't be quite as warm with 77 there. 65 tahoe, mid-70s monterey, and 87 in los angeles. so it looks like we are going to be looking at a weak system come wednesday morning. maybe a few drops but certainly cools us off. thursday we are quiet with clouds. here's friday morning. and look at the widespread rain. pretty impressive for late april. so hopefully that verifies and question will have once again a kind of wild week starting out very warm temperatures. today in the mid-80s from the south bay. 78 san francisco. 84 in santa rosa and the accuweather seven-day forecast only a few degrees cooling around the bay. it really comes into the coast tomorrow. and then we will look for clouds increase like tuesday maybe a sprinkle wednesday. look at that. number one on the storm
