We will be looking at a system dropping south and paralleling the coast and allowing for maybe a little bit of rain as soon as 24 hours from now. Heres a look from emeryville where it is nice and quiet with temperatures dropping through the 30s from redwood city in san jose. Good morning oakland. All way down to 47. San francisco 45 and near 40 at the coast. Certainly cool. The due points are lower and we are looking at a chilly start. Patchy frost in the north bay from sutro. We are looking down around the city. But look at the numbers on the north bay and out toward the dealt you. A lot colder. 32 nap but and 31 in santa rosa. Fairfield, the warmer spot but look at livermore. Just 33 degrees for you in the valley and 35 in concord. Certainly a colder start to your weekend. We are looking at numbers all around the bay, anywhere from ten to about fourteen degrees colder. So grab the extra sweatshirt this morning and allow yourself to warm up a little bit. You may have to scrape the bind shield out there, as well, in some of the valley locations. Heres a look at the pacific satellite picture. With low pressure off the coast it allows for a sunny day today. The on shore flow will bring gusty winds at the coast. Temperatures along the shoreline only in the mid50s. It continues it drop to the south and then it will head our way. It could bring a little shower activity as soon as about 8 00 tomorrow morning around point reyes and alema. We will watch the trajectory as we go through the next several hours. By about 9 00, you look at rain in
San Francisco<\/a> and then it pushes further south. Minutely the south bay, santa cruz mountains, coastal hills, perhaps a quarter inch for the folks in the east by and north bayville. But theres another tune, and it looks like a stronger storm system perhaps as we go through not next week but into next weekend. So this takes us out through the week ahead. Notice we will see dry witnesses, but going pretty far out, but by next sunday this has been consistent. The forecast models allow for a stronger system perhaps by next weekend to spread more significant rain our way. Tomorrow just a shot at it. 57 in
