Fire crews are fighting two new wildfires near louisiana. Th los angeles. At this point the fire is burning away from homes. Take a look at this video from just about 30 minutes ago. The fire is in steep rocky terrain a few miles away in calabasas. Fire crews a battle another fire. Fire crews say nothing is threatened now. A san jose woman is now in custody after police say she intentionally ran over and killed a friend during an a altercati altercation. Shes charged with suspicion of murder and hit and run. Shes being held without bail. She ran over a 23yearold woman on north lee avenue in campbell just after 7 00 tuesday morning. The victims name has not been released. Police arrested her yesterday after spotting her this the car used in the innocent. It was campbells first murder in more than two years. The house passed two pieces of legislation to crack down on illegal immigration including a bill named in honor of a bay area murder victim. State investigators arrested jeremy griffin. The company he worked for grew suspicious after finding the documents were falsified. Investigators say its the second time griffin has impersonated a nurse. He posed as an rn in 2014 and convicted of burglarizing the marina del ray medical facility where he works. Dna evidence has helped them identify a suspect in a 2016 bank robbery. It took place at the exchange bank.
