At a Media Briefing earlier this week supervisor aaron peskin released this letter from City Building inspectors written in 2009 just a year after the building was completed. Peskin says the response to the letter was missing from 1,600 pages of records he knew and he said a thirdparty source just sent him a copy of that response from project engineers t. A huge show of support today for a new York City Police detective who was injured in the line of duty. Detective Brian Odonnell received a huge ovation as he left the hospital a day after being injured during a confrontation with a man who is wielding a cleaver. The 16year veteran suffered a cut to his face and and injured arm. Police say odonnell and two other officers chased a man after spotting him trying to move a boot from the wheel of his car. Officers shot 32yearold after he refused to drop the 11inch cleaver he was holding. Hes listed in Critical Condition today. Today a suspected serial killer in ohio face adjudge for the first time.
