Krist kristen . Kate steinles family says missteps by three agencies led to her death. The lawsuits is directed against the bureau of Land Management, immigration and customs and former San Francisco sheriff. The 32yearold San Francisco woman was walking with her father at pier 14 last july when she was shot to death. An undocumented immigrant and felon is charged with pulling the trigger. Juan sanchez had been previously forted five times. The gun he ufzed was stolen out of the parked vehicle of a bureau of Land Management agent. Now, the Sheriffs Department here is also looking into a possible connection between a Sexual Assault which hand a week ago and these shottings. Again, it is all part of this investigation. There are some common names, but whether theres any true nexus between that and the investigation we have right now we have not clearly defined that.
