live from the kgo-tv broadcast center, this is abc7 news. >> now at 11:00, a married couple shot and killed in their south bay home and tonight we are learning about the message left behind at the murder scene. good evening and thank you for joining us. i'm ama daetz. >> and i'm dan ashley. they were found dead in their san jose home yesterday by friends who came to check on them. >> abc7 news reporter lilian kim is live on lucas court with the disturbing new details about the crime. lilian? >> based on what was found inside this does president appear a random attack, but a cold and calculated one. >> friends say they left decades ago and since then have cultivated a nice life in the united states. he was an engine mere and his wife accountant. they were said to be humble and polite people. >> the tragic violence and is up simple, gentle souls. >> a group of friend entered their home on sunday through an unlocked sliding glass door. they hadn't heard from them in day. when they went inside they found a grews so many scene. their names written in ink on the floor. it said "sorry, my first kill was clumsy." they are trying to make sense of it all. they lived close to the mosque and were devoted members. >> we are surprised they are no longer with us and especially going in such a manner is something we can't come to grips with. >> fortunately the couple's sons, 17 and 21, were not home during the murders. the parents were shot at least once, but there is no information on a suspect or motive. lilian kim, abc7 news. gunfire at a park left one man dead and another injured. abc7 news was at orange memorial park at south san francisco. two men were shot during an argument. a manhunt is on for this man, christian omar cruz. they were briefly placed on lock down after cruz was seen running from the park carrying a gun. for the third time in less than two years firefighters had to put out a fire at a mission street apartment building. it started about 8:30. they had the fire out in about 20 minutes. the building has been de chaired uninhabitable -- declared uninhabitable because of a raging fire. one person was killed at that time. dozens with forced out of their homes. the fire damaged the building gn in march of this year. it is in the process of being dismantled. the search is on for a gunman wanted in a brazen robbery. a man in a mask pointing a semiautomatic gun robbed the california grand casino. on the top left you can see the dealer with her hands up. the casino was open when the robbery happened just before 5:00 this morning. the masked man snatched casino chips and then sped away in a silver four-door mercedes-benz. in danville a nanny has been arrested after the parents say they saw her on a nanny cam hitting and shaking their baby. the nanny is a 23-year-old woman from antioch. katie is live at the danville police department with the story. katie? >> ama, neighbors say the streets were filled with police cars and an ambulance. the baby was taken to the hospital as a precaution. neighbors say this is the fan intoe's car parked in front of the house. they can't believe what happened on their street. >> we are in a very safe neighborhood and quiet. you don't think these things happen, but they do. >> officer went to the house around 2:30 after the parents saw their nanny hit and shake their 10-month-old daughter on a remote video feed m officers arrested 23-year-old mikhail law law -- makayla reary. several said the baby's mother had suspicions about her. >> she wasn't sure what was happening when she is gone. sometimes she has to call several times to get an answer concerns her. >> the nanny was only working for the family for a few months. this dad says his kids never had a nanny, but he understands the need for a nanny cam. >> this is a perfect scenario where they would have never known. >> i think it is a good thing unfortunately. >> the incident is still under investigation. abc7 news. >> new video shows a deputy cruiser being pulled out from under a car. deputies say the driver hit a fire station and supermarket before leading officers on a low speed chase. it ended when she backed on to the patrol car. the woman had minor injuries and taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. new details, an attorney's request could lead to another delay in the long awaited trial for the man accused of killing a young girl. defense attorneyses want the trial moved out of santa clara county because of the publicity. that's because of the chronicle. the trial was set to start today, but it was delayed so they have more time to prepare his case. sierra lamar of morgan hill disappeared four years ago and her body has never been found. your voice, your vote. for the first time candidates to replace barbara boxer faced off in a live debate in stockton. 5 californians are in the running including camala harris who talked about the legal experience she gained in the candidates will remain after a june 3rd primary. new at 11:00, a huge gift for ucsf. the school announced tonight wall street financier they have donated $185 million to the university's neuro science program. it is the largest single gift in ucsf history. it will help pay for a new building that will house the neuro science program and house more faculty members. steph curry will likely be out of mean. >> abc7 news reporter alyssa harrington is live with what the principal is doing to stop the cyberbullying. >> reporter: ama and dan, students including livermore high school were involved in these really nasty tweets. most of the sites have been taken down. the students are being reminded that cyberbullying has very real consequences. it called out students by name. the post maced people's looks. some use racial slurs and others were sexual. this junior at livermore high school says her principal made a stern morning announcement. >> anyone that was involved in the l.a. drama gossip page or just sort of connecting with it, they would be suspended and may be aired. >> reporter: the principal called the sites disturbing and in a letter urged parents to talk to their kids about being responsible on-line. >> i told them to bow careful. to be careful what you put on there and be careful what you read. if it is not appropriate let me know. >> it is one more medium for them to use to bully other kids. that's why i prefer to keep my son off social media. >> reporter: they were asked to dispatch other officerses in case it sparks any violence. alyssa harrington, abc7 news. tonight target is facing a backlash over the transgender policy. target announced employees and shoppers were welcome to use the restroom that corresponds to the gender identity. the christian family association started an on-line petition to boycott the chain store. tonight it has more than 500,000 signatures. costco is expected to raise the yearly gold star membership soon from 55 to 60 and even 65 dollars. the executive membership is expected to jump to $120 a year. the company is not commenting directly, but it did hint that costco's president pointed out to usa today that in the past the warehouse giant has raised fees every five or six years and the last raise was in 2011. as you know it was breezy around here and certainly that was the case in southern california too. one boater was caught off guard. a los angeles fire department boat came to the rescue of the coast guard -- off the coast of san pedro. a windy and choppy condition was too much for the small sailboat to handle. you can see a rescuer jump on to the stressed boat as they towed it to the marina. and look out below. here is another casualty of the strong winds. no one was hurt. and it did not deter some people from getting their chicken fix. the wind were part of a thunderstorm that blew through the area this afternoon. >> and our winds were quite gusty today and even yesterday. >> things are changing. we are losing the wind and maybe gaining some heat. sandhya patel is here with the forecast. >> that's right. and in between losing the heat and gaining the rain, we will be gaining the rain, dan and ama. take a look here. we have clear skieses right now. the wind have subsided. they were pretty gusty earlier today. the temperatures are falling 49 in napa and fair field. most other areas are in the 50s from the abc7 news exploratorium camera. you are looking at a clear sky over the financial district. crisp and clear and we are looking at filtered sunshine and the showers will arrive on wednesday. take a look at what will happen tomorrow morning. it will start out clear, but notice what will happen throughout the day. the high clouds will increase and that will create the hazy skieses and filtered sunshine. that is in advance of a system coming our way. we have been ranking these storms on our storm impact scale from one to five. we will continue to do so as we have another system that is encouraging and coming in for late april. on our storm impact scale on wednesday it is a one. it is a light system, scattered showers and breezy conditions with a slight possibility of thunder. here is your hour by hour time line. wednesday morning you will start out with clouds at 5:00 a.m. at 9:00 a.m., a few showers begin to move in toward the north bay and along the coastline. but we have to wait until 10:00 a.m. before the ground starts to get wet. the showers will pick up a little bit in intensity at 11:00 a.m. and a little more coverage as we head toward the noontime. south bay is looking at yellowses and so moderate rain is not out of the question. we still have scattered showers in the inland areas of our viewing area, and we are really going to continue those at 3:00 p.m. few showers going into the evening hours and then they wind down. the rain totals are light just about everywhere. this system will not bring a lot of rain, but there will be a few spots that could pick up .20 of an inch by wednesday night. tomorrow morning as you get going you will need to make sure your kids have a jacket and you are bundled up. the temperatures are going to drop as the winds have come down. 39 in napa. it is some of our coolest spots. most of the areas will be in the low to upper 40s and we are looking at clear skies, but it will not last the -- the temperatures will come up a few degrees. we will still go with breezy conditions. 62 in san francisco and 67 on the bay. 68 san jose. 70 in livermore and concord. 68 napa and santa rosa and 65 in san rafael. a look at the giants game against the padres tomorrow night if you are going, it will be nice at 57 when the game starts, but it will get breezy, dropping down to 54. if you are going to the game you will want to pack that extra layer. accu-weather seven-day forecast it is breezy with hazy sun. we are looking at the scattered showers and then we start to dry out as the temperatures rise and it will be a warmer end to the workweek. the weekend will be downright hot the first half. the second half of the weekend we may be looking at records as we head into early next week with 70s third and he keeps his balance and puts in the rebound. the shot is off one post and then into the other. the blues hold on to win it 3-2 and eliminates the defending stanley cup champions. and this
