The timing is not good. We are looking at a storm may morning commute. Lets check out live doppler 7hd. And the next storm is a few hours away. What is really impressive with this storm is it is being enhanced by el nino. Take a look at the stretch of moisture. It is a good 745 miles of moisture coming in our direction. Lightning is showing up off our coastline. On our storm impact scale from one to five we will be rating the storms. One is light and five is severe and we are ranking this one a three. The strongest yet for the season so far. The heaviest rain is over 40 miles an hour. Flooding of lowlying areas and the possibility of mudslide. Late tonight through wednesday afternoon, these are the areas , and it covers virtually all parts of the bay area with eke exceptions of the inland east bay. 4 00 a. M. To 10 00 a. M. , high tides and large swell and run off will cause lowlying flooding issue. And we have a High Surf Advisory until 6 00 p. M. Watch out for the westerly swells. 15 to 18 feet with large breaker.
