For more than three hours tonight the gop candidates for president sparred at the reagan president ial library in simi valley. They tell us about the moment between donald trump and the former hpceo. First of all Carly Fiorina shouldnt be on this stage. It was immediate. His visceral response to attack people on their appearance, short, tall, fat, ugly. My goodness, that happened in junior high. I never attacked him on his look, and believe me there is plenty of subject matter right there. It was clearly the main target in the second debate. We are not talking real issues. And mr. Trump, we dont need an apprentice in the white house. He wonka he wanted casino glam belying. If i wanted it i would have gotten it. More energy i like that. In the latest National Poll dr. Ben carson has surged into second place. I in to way am willing to get into bed with special interest groups. They have different groups on immigration. You are taking advantage of the american people. It is time for you to go. I am the only candidate on this stage that has they ever supported amnesty. And Carly Fiorina was asked about her in Rolling Stone when he said look at that face. Would anyone vote for that. I think women heard all over the country heard what mr. Trump said. I think she has a beautiful face and i think she is a beautiful woman. It is clear the debate was a make or break moment for those at the bottom of the poll. They were often seen talking over each other and fighting for any extra minute they could get on stage. Abc news, simi valley, california. One San Francisco republican says trump is getting something out of the other candidates. They are all upping their game. Upping their game in some respect because they dont get why trump is doing so well. He is not the only one who saw change across the board. They have all proved powerful this evening. For many it was Carly Fiorina who flexed her muscles. I did like her somewhat, but more so tonight. She is very, very tight with her responses. When the moderator tries to cut her off, she is not going to be cutoff. So she has she is doing very, very well. Fiorina even caught the ear of the democrats with this. Here in this nation they are filled with the possibilities of their god given gifts. Her answer to the question gave me the only it gave me the only inspirational feeling that i felt during the whole debate. High praise, but it doesnt mean he will vote republican. Abc7 news.
