the search is on for the woman police think is responsible. abc news 7 reporter matt keller is live at the scene in san jose. matt? >> reporter: jessica. zan jose police got back with me and say their investigation is in the same place. they have a man who was stabbed and they are searching for the woman who is suspected of doing it. an unusual morning at this home on redbird drive in the willow glen neighborhood of san jose. >> we heard a loud noise at 3:00 in the morning. opened the door, saw blood, closed the door, called the cops and that's about all we know. >> reporter: "the mercury news" confirms the man is an employee and police aren't releasing his name. police say he was stabbed by a woman. after going to this door he got no response. he left a trail of blood. neighbors called police and paramedics and officers arrived toe help him out. the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. the unknown female suspect escaped and is still on the loose. investigators are looking into what led up to the stabbing. longtime resident say they have never seen something like this happen on their street. >> this is quite unusual for us, very unusual for us. we don't normally get this kind of activity. it's a very quiet neighborhood. it's an older neighborhood, a very quiet neighborhood, so this is very unusual. >> reporter: we have learned the san jose police have gone to at least one nearby business to find out if they have video of the suspect and the victim together before the stabbing. reporting live in san jose. matt keller, abc 7 news. >> matt, thank you. major updates on muni will cause major headaches the next month. the pain begins this weekend when the san francisco marathon will also be taking place. abc 7 news reporter amy hollyfield is live at fortt mason. amy? >> reporter: hi, good morning, jessica. look at all of these numbers that will be handed out today here at ft. mason for all of the runners. 27,000 people expected to be running in the marathon on sunday. they will be doing this on our first weekend without muni service. warning signs at muni stations got some attention today as commuters started realizing life on muni will be changing starting tomorrow. >> i'm just worried about the evening rush, especially on a friday night. >> reporter: weeknights, muni subway service will stop running at 9:30. yes, that does include friday nights. there will be no muni subway service on the weekends starting this weekend. some who work on the weekends felt caught off guard and worried. >> i need to take another bus. i don't know what kind of bus i could take, you know. i'm working the weekends. >> reporter: you did not know about this? >> no. >> on the weekends, that's going to be a hassle, too, because we don't like driving during the weekends. >> reporter: you can still get a ride. it just might be a bit slower. >> anything runner from embarcadero and westportal will be done by a bus shuttle. muni is shutting down service so they can test the new muni cars. they hope they will be ready to hit the streets next month. >> what we're trying to do is test them for acceleration and braking and how they interact with our automatic train control system and once you can can cann continue, this is good news for everybody. >> reporter: these muni changes will be in a place for month so keep that in mind and it starts this weekend. also this weekend, all northbound lanes on the golden gate bridge will be closed because of this marathon. a lot to keep in mind as you plan your weekend and the next month of weekends because of muni. reporting live in san francisco. amy hollyfield, aches 7 news. >> all right, amy, thank you. yeah, start scribbling on your calendar all of those updates. as amy mention the the marathon is expected to cause a major headache. we expect a lot of people in town. part of the golden gate bridge will shut down. let's check in with traffic reporter alexis smith. how do we get around this thing? >> reporter: my number one piece of advice here and the most significant part of the course closure is going to be northbound lantz of golden gate bridge so all lanes will be shut down between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. sunday morning. the southbound side of the bridge will be open to southbound traffic. the runners will be on the northbound side so folks will be going really slowly. plan for that. a lot of surface street closures, too, including the embarcadero starting at midnight sunday and goes until 2:45 p.m. this winds all throughout the city, through golden gate park, the mission, financial district, fishermen's wharf, you name it. be aware. i lot of street closures in place and a giants game day, 1:05 first pitch so if you're going to the game. there will be detours heading to at&t park as well. let's check in with mike you've got a pretty nice race day forecast, right, mike? >> the full marathon, the 26 or the 100? >> i was going to sign you up for the 26.2. >> that's very kind of you. probably haven't run that far in my entire life. all joking aside, runners like it to be cool, and that's exactly what we'll have and that's what makes the san francisco marathon such a draw. look at that. 54 at 5:00 and 56 with a little sliver of sunshine breaking through the clouds at 7:00. partly cloudy to mostly sunny, a light wind out of the west at 10 to 15 miles per hour and then by 11:00 it's going to be sunny and about 64 degrees. hey, if you're traveling around the state and want to take a look at air quality in the san joaquin valley, that's because of the detweiler fire and that's moving all the way up into tahoe today. my fingers are crossed this weekend and there's a chance of some thunderstorms sunday, monday and tuesday that could help clear the air. >> happening now, a ground breaking ceremony under way in the millbrae area for the project to electrify the caltrain corridor along the corridor. state senator scott wiener treated this photo and you can see him with two other stores riding caltrain to the ceremony today and video stream shows governor jerry brown speaking at the ceremony just a short time ago. the company personally lobbying top officials to secure the funds to improve the system that will be completed by 2021. a water main broke in the castro district at collingwood and eureka streets near the valley recreation center. no homes were flooded because of this leak. water department crews are right now at the scene. they are making repairs. new developments involving a massive wildfire another yosemite. it has destroyed 115 structures and 55 of those are homes. strong since sunday burning more than 74,000 acres so far. the good news is the fire is 15% contained. nearly 4,000 firefighters are on the scene. right now they are reinforcing containment lines and the fire burning just 35 miles from yosemite national park. this time lapse shows the smoke rolling through the valley with half dome. disappearing in the haze, so difficult to make it out and the park is not in danger of burning. it remains open, but as you see here in the video, visitors are warned about respiratory problems from all that smoke. new details at uc berkeley. university officials now say they are working with the college republicans to bring conservative speaker ben shapiro to campus. the school was blocking their effort. the former breitbart editor wanted to visit june 14 but cal officials said all three ven ven are booked and they are now willing to wave the fee. >> couple says a thief stole their wedding photos out of the photographer's car monday. the photographer says she stopped by the presidio on her way home to use the bathroom and that's when a burglar smashed the back window of her car, stole $15,000 word of camera equipment and the memory cards with those wedding photos on them. >> i want to make them happy and remember this moment and for me that just -- i failed completely. >> the photographer says she feels horrible. she's even searched for her equipment at flea markets and online. the couple is now offering a $11,000 reward for the memory let's get to some breaking news happening at san francisco international airport. a cleanup effort is under way following a fuel spill. sky 7 is live over the spill at gate 27 in terminal 1. can you see absorbant there on the ground to soak up the fuel. sfo officials tell us the spill happened while a southwest airlines jet was being refueled. according to flightaware.com the boeing 737 had just landed from denver and was getting ready to leave for orange county. the spill we're told has been contained and officials at the airport say this morning's mishap will not delay or affect any other flights. >> can you tell what that is behind me even throughout the muck and mire out there that's hanging around yosemite this morning. let's use that as a backdrop talking about what's happening here. more sunshine and warm today. uncomfortable for some of this weekend and a summer spread through next week. temperatures 62 at half moon bay and 66 already in san francisco. mid to upper 60s around oakland and heyward and san mateo and some 70s down the south bay and north bay and even 80s showing up. 83 in brentwood. if you're at the beaches a lot of sunshine out there, strong breezes out of the northwest at 15 to 25 knots. south of the bay bridge right there. san mateo bridge, west wind kicking up at 1:00 until 9:00. up to about 25 to 30 knots so it will be a brisk day in that part of the day. if you're heading down to santaus or just going to be outside on the water, remember, it's going to be breezy. out and about, sunscreen needed. extreme sunshine and breezy and cool and sunny at our beaches. that's your activity plan. here we are in concord. 92 degrees and not quite as comfortable as it has been the last couple of days. pittsburgh 92 and 92 in antioch and the coolest, if you will, san ramon. head up to the north bay. 89 in santa rosa and getting warmer. san rafael 81 and napa 86 and novato 86. down on the south bay not too bad. 82 in san jose. cupertino 78. deeper into the valley, morgan hill at about 88 and santa cruz at 74. peninsula 74 and breezy again on both sides. 64 in pacifica and palo alto at about 77 degrees and over in oakland we'll have 74 and sunshine. it will feel about 10 to 15 degrees warmer if you're the actual sun. heyward and richmond top out at 68 degrees and san francisco about 68 degrees. same thing in the marina and mission. going to the game tonight, winefest, 5:00 do 7:00, going to have a lot of wine out there and get your reusable wine pouch. 62 degrees at 7:15 dropping down to about 58. a look at my accuweather seven-day forecast. even with it being warmer. we'll drop down to mainly the 50s tonight and 50s and 60s for overnight hours so even though it's going to get a little obnoxious inland with temperatures nearing 100 we'll be comfortable at night. low to mid-60s at the coast. a slight cooling trend monday and back to average on tuesday and wednesday with more high clouds from that moon soon moisture. going to bring hopefully some thunderstorms to the sierra next week but not for us. >> okay. a hot weekend in store, not running the marathon? >> no. >> you? >> i'm just giving you a
