First of all, the track, and how cold is it going to get . David, this storm is still very far away, so, that cold air has yet to move. The longer it stays north, the colder its going to get. Were timing it for the middle of next week for the core of that cold air to get down to the gulf of mexico and the east coast. But the coldest air, wind chills, david, in texas, will be in the teens and the Northern Plains will be in the single digits. This will be the coldest air yet this year. Wednesday afternoon, almost 63 hours into carleshas disappearance, authorities release video of a man they believe to be barnes, strolling through a supermarket, pointing out his distinctive walk. Then, the big break. Officials spot barnes car on a virginia Traffic Camera and track it to a dealer who tells them its outfitted with gps. Just minutes after that, they zero in on barnes and carlesha, still in that car, over 100 miles from the scene of the crime in a maryland Shopping Mall parking lot. When barnes tries to flee, agents move in, rescuing carlesha. She was in a state of shock and hysteria, as far as what was going on. Reporter barnes now facing federal charges. Court documents saying he admits abducting the victim, and she was not known to him. Hes a thug and this is what he does, apparently. Reporter authorities tell abc news carlesha has only minor physical injuries and is now recovering from the mental trauma. Her grandmother today speaking exclusively to abc news. In theory, this software could allow a hacker to use the internet to shut down a generator, flood a Water Treatment plant or turn off a pipeline. Nurses on the job at 2 00 a. M. Suddenly turning in fright as a 68yearold man, a patient, comes blazing through a minnesota hospital with a large metal bar. The patient reportedly getting the bar by disassembling a hospital bed. The nurses running, he follows them. Injuring four. One nurse even suffered a collapsed lung. By every stretch of the imagination, this was a highly violent incident. Reporter police confronted the man with a taser. He died later that night. Police are now reviewing the incident. Incredibly, violence in a hospital is now entirely unusual. According to one recent study, 60 of all nonfatal assaults and violent acts in the workplace occurred in the health care industry. In fact, 31 states now have laws in place aimed at protecting nurses. Fellow patient adam lynn witnessed the attack. There should have been more security there.
