The tip that led police to this motel came from someone the men knew. Police said they arrived just in time. Saying the pair was waiting for a ride out of town. It was being dispatched from atlanta. Who was the driver or where the driver was going to take them after he or she got here, we do not know. Well be backtracking to those who helped carry out this fraud and well be looking closely at anyone who may have helped harbor these fugitives. Reporter brazen, bold, with nothing to lose, 34yearolds Charles Walker and joe jenkins were both serving sentences for life without parole for murder. When they tricked officials into walking them out of jail september 27th and october 8th. Mr. Walker, this is your first appearance. Youve been arrested on an instate warrant. Reporter they appeared in this Florida Court sunday, each charged with one count of escape. Theres been a request that you be held without bond. Reporter this morning, theyre under intense questioning. Police investigating whether they or a friend of theirs paid someone several thousand dollars to produce these forged documents that ordered their Immediate Release from prison. There is speculation that these documents could be constructed for 8,000. Investigators are looking into deposits from their prison canteen accounts from friends on the outside. Authorities are not saying exactly who helped but have ruled out family members who they say were duped, like everyone else. If the men arent sent back to prison immediately, they will have another Court Appearance here on friday. Robin . All right, steve, thank you very much. Massive glitches have plagued millions trying to get on the governments website. Writing in a blog post, we know using healthcare. Gov has been frustrating for many americans. Any system that deals with that many millions of people frequently does have a glitch. Reporter so far, 19 Million People have visited the site, reporting issues like confusing error message, broken calculators, wrong information on Medicaid Eligibility and long delays in timeouts. But even when we tried to access the site, we encountered this error, a registration page filled with question marks and incoher incoherent data. A new report says the hospital worker saw the woman passed out in a stairwell one week before her body was discovered and identified. Cecilia vega has been tracking the case. Reporter this morning, a shocking new twist in the already baffling medical mystery surrounding Lynne Spalding. The 57yearold who checked into San Francisco General Hospital for a routine infection, disappeared two days later and now, the San Francisco chronicle reports that one week before spalding was finally found dead in a locked hospital stairwell, an orderly saw an unconscious woman in the same spot, and stepped over her not once, but twice. For spaldings family, the revelation sparked pure outrage. What does that tell you about what happened in that hospital . I think what this tells us is what didnt happen. What should have happened. Immediate care and assistance for someone who is laying on a stairwell. Reporter the orderly reportedly told a nurse about what he had seen. And according to the chronicle, the nurse contacted the Sheriffs Department, which provides security for the hospital. The big question is what did the Sheriffs Department know and what did they do about this . Reporter spaldings family believes she may have been confused by medication and wandered away. Her cause of death is still unknown. The Sheriffs Department says we are still investigating every aspect of the case. And the hospital said it is committed to finding out exactly what happened so that it will never happen again. Spaldings family wants answers, too. Now to the missouri mom who has one more reason to dislike jury duty. She now has her own court date this week after being held in contempt for bringing her 7monthold to court because she was nursing him and didnt have anyone to watch him. Reena ninan has the story. Reporter laura trickle of missouri never expected breastfeeding her newborn baby could lead to contempt of court charges. Its been incredibly stressful. I would like to have a little bit more understanding from the court. Reporter she was summoned to jury duty in august. She asked to be exempt because she was breastfeeding her son, axle. Then, five months. But the judge disagreed, saying the court does provide a room where nursing moms can pump. He told me that i would be able to pump on brakes, or that i could bring a caregiver with me. Im a stayathome mom so we dont have fulltime child care. Reporter this week, she faces potential charges of contempt. As for as pumping, axle doesnt take a bottle so that wouldnt work for us. Reporter trickle says the judge issued a court order saying she, quote, willfully and contemptuously appeared for jury service with her child. Just 20 mile as way in kansas, breastfeeding women are exempt from jury duty as they are in 11 other states. We reached out to the Jackson County courthouse for comment but did not receive a response. Missouri state senator rob shaft agreed with trickle and said shes drafting legislation exempting moms who breastfeed from jury duty across the state. Trickles hearing is scheduled for thursday, at the Jackson County courthouse where she will show cause why she should not be held in civil contempt in order to pay a fine. Reporter the latest round of testimony in the Parton Macneill trial began with an urgent knock on the door from a 6yearold child. I went to the front door. It was ada. And she just said, my dad needs some help. Reporter prosecutors say little ada macneill just discovered the lifeless body of michele in the bathtub when Martin Macneill asked her to get help. I could hear martin yelling. When i first went in, i saw that michele was in the tub and martin was over the tub. Reporter macneills lawyers say the former beauty queen died of a heart disorder. Prosecutors claim macneill gave her a deadly overdose of prescription drugs. He said he needed a males help . Thats what i remember. Reporter she said she called her husband. She looked lifeless and collapsed. Reporter he says something seemed off. Telling jury yors it didnt appear macneill tried to give his wife cpr or that he even needed anyones help to get her out of the tub. I definitely could have gotten her out of the tub myself. Reporter First Responders testified macneill had outbursts while they tried to help her. He was yelling that she was on a lot of medication. Theyre trying to show he acted between bizarrely or activity sabotaged the rescue efforts. One of the most important things we heard is one of the neighbors arrives, seems ready to help, and instead of saying help me, help me, he says, i think i need a guys help to get my wife out of the tub. I think the jurors will have a real problem with that. What was the defenses response to that . The defense says he was trying to provide cpr. He was doing the best he could. He was trying to call 911. Theres just going to be a number of problems with that account. Because there are inconsistencies, not just if what he said but in what he did and how he did it. And the witnesses expected to take the stand in the next couple of days, what impact could they have . Well see more police witnesses. This is a human case. The prosecutor are hoping the jurors say this makes no sense. This just doesnt add up. The next set of witnesses youre going see a bit more of the First Responders testifying. The police testimony.
