These are live pictures of that fire still smoldering. The plant makes those propane cylinders you exchange at the grocery store. They caught fire and blew up. What you hear exploding in this video from the scene are the propane tanks found on almost every home grill in america. For hundreds of families near this gas plant, a half hour northwest of orlando, it was a frightening night. The first round of explosions rocked their peace and quiet at 11 30 and continued for half an hour. After midnight, the blasts started back up again. The whole house shook. The windows shook. Everything. Reporter giant waves of smoke filled the night sky, and authorities were telling residents the air was safe to breathe. At least eight workers at the blue rhino propane plant were hurt in the blast as they scrambled for cover. Some of them were badly burned. This morning at least four are in critical condition, rushed by helicopters to the closest hospitals. I heard this loud boom, and it sounded like a car had driven into my house. Reporter blue rhino, the company that sells the propane tanks, had a crew of about 25 people working at the plant when the explosions began. At one point they feared the worst, but this morning officials are reporting that no one was killed. I was outside in my driveway looking at the orange plumes and the flashes in the sky and hearing the booms. So it is no doubt a miracle that no one has been reported as having died. Reporter 50 homes were evacuated a mile out from the plant. Some families spent the night at a church shelter, but they are safe. This morning Authorities Say the fire is contained and wont spread. But this morning shes in the intensive care unit of an arkansas hospital with a disease that kills 99 of people who contract it. Kali hardig got violently ill days after playing at this water park in a lake near little rock. Doctors diagnosed her with a rare meningitis caused by a parasite, an amoeba that thrives in hot, stagnant fresh water. Ive never even heard of it until kali got it and then to be told theres no cure for this amoeba is just heartwrenching. Reporter theres only been 50 cases of this disease reported in the last 10 years in the United States. But kali is the second believed to be from this one lake. Three years ago, this 7yearold boy died after swimming here. The owners have shut it down for the summer and maybe forever. Its hard for us to even think about the possibility of a child getting sick out here. Reporter Scientists Say only two americans have ever survived exposure to this amoeba. Her mom is praying kali will be the third. Thats what were hoping for. Kali to be number three. Reporter her mother is also hoping to raise awareness. This morning, a battle with one of the credit reporting giants, equifax, turning out a win for the little guy. This morning she is the face of consumers, fighting back and winning big there was incorrect information, like 40 debt collector information and incorrect Social Security and birth dates. Reporter eight times between 2009 and 2011, julie miller says she contacted Credit Bureau equifax diligently filling out paperwork, even highlighting mistakes, but after all that, she claims eqiufax never corrected the errors. Several times they mailed a standard form that they have that requested more information. Yet, there was no change to any of the information. Reporter she says the errors cost her credit at two banks. So she finally sued the Credit Bureau. An oregon jury says shes now entitled to one of the biggest settlements ever, an 18. 6 million award. I was shocked by the settlement. Reporter experts say Credit Bureaus should listen up. Its almost a message to the Credit Bureaus, look, you better get this information straight because consumers have recognized how important it is, and theyre doing a better job of keeping on top of this information. Reporter equifax wont say whether it disputes millers claims but told abc news, we are very disappointed in the jury verdict and are exploring our options. Equifax is expected to appeal. The consumer did their job, however, somebody dropped the ball. Thats why youre seeing such a huge punitive award. Reporter miller hopes its a wakeup call. Theyre sending information to companies all over the world. It can affect your credit and your scores and your life. Reporter now, the only way to protect your report is to check it for free once a year at annualreport. Com. And if you see errors, report them to the Credit Bureau and to the banks. In western michigan, where dewolfe grew up, his loved ones are in disbelief. Hes like, im going to cure cancer one day. He had such great aspirations for life. And if you knew paul, he would have done it. Hes the type of person that would have cured cancer. According to Court Documents obtained by abc news, the giudices allegedly submitted false and fraudulent mortgage and other loan applications from 2001 to 2008. The documents say joe failed to submit tax returns and did not tell the truth in bankruptcy court. Teresa is accused of reporting fake jobs. She went so far as to file fake w2 forms. Reporter federal prosecutors also say the 41yearold mother, known by her lavish spending habits and mansion, tried to hide the money she earned from the real housewives when she filed for bankruptcy. These charges are serious. Theyve thrown the book at them. A 39count indictment. A conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud. A series of other charges. And theyre saying this started back in 2001. And in effect, what they were doing, they say, when they were applying for loans, they would overstate what they had. They would file fake w2s and create fake pay stubs. When they filed for bankruptcy, they would do the opposite. Minimize the amount of assets they had. The authorities are saying, they went to Great Lengths. This is not just messing up some numbers. The authorities are claiming they went to Great Lengths to lie to the banks, to the courts, in connection with this long history of what they say is fraud. And could be facing decades in jail. And joe and teresa, are they equally implicated in this case . Theyre both implicated. And a number of charges are conspiracy where they worked together. For example, theyre saying he didnt file tax returns between 2004 and 2008. That just relates to him. But for many of the most serious charges, youre talking about both of them. It will be very interesting to see if they try to get one of them to flip on the other one. But i dont think theyre going to offer a deal that would not involve serious prison time here. In 2010, the supermodel made waves when she told Harpers Bazaar uk, quote, there should be a worldwide law that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months. My stepdaughter just had her ears pierced at 12. And babies have ears pierced. I called my mom and did research to ask if it was cultural. You can pack them and take them where youre going. Exactly. Good for lengthening and strengthening. Lindsay will show you a this is a tricep extension. Theyre dangerous if you dont know what youre doing. Exactly. But you want to feel sexy and confident. And you can do so many different exercises with that one band, which is great. You can use it for hips, butt, arms. And especially this one, which is really good for the back muscle areas. Every girl wants a nice, strong look. So, thats one way to get those. Youre working it. You make it work. And the wings over there . Come on over. So, talk a little about the wings and how you work them. Well, i think every girl feels its a weird feeling you get wearing wings. But, boy, the fans are going to rise up if theyre not completely happy. Do you have any pause about how it ends . If people will be satisfied the. I think the fans will be very satisfied. We forgive each other. We hug. We sing kumbaya. Its all a lovely, lovely its breaking bad, after all. Very unapologetically. Justifiably. I think the fans will go, yeah. Isnt that one of the legacies of this show. I thought it breaking bad, when watching the red wedding episode of game of thrones. A series like yours, is that bad things happen to everyone all the time. Do you let yourself think about the legacy of the series at this point . Not at this point. Something goes down as a classic or leaving a legacy, thats up to the fans to decide. All were trying to do is focus on making the best show that we can, and tell an honest story. Before we get do you remember that moment you got the part . Do you remember the phone call . Yeah. I kind of manufactured it. I really did. I tell the story about going in and wanting to lift my leg on vince gilligan, who created the show, and put my scent on him. So, he could only think of me. And he became my champion to get the role. I felt with the first one we were filming, straight away people were coming up to us saying, i have 100 figurines in my basement. I do, too. Youre a fan. Not in a weird way. I save them for my kids. My mother probably still has mine in storage somewhere. I want to show everybody a scene from the movie. This is neil patrick harris. And a plan in this scene is being hatched to save smurfette, played by katy perry, from the evil gargamel. Take a look, everyone. Smurfette has been taken. What . By the ghastly gargamel. By the end of the evening, you feel like youre going a little crazy. Did they put something there for you to connect to . You rehearse with these little gelatinous smurfs. And by the end of it, theres a little sticker there. And remembering which smurf could be the dot, is a little nutty. Christina, you play vexy, the evil character to smurfette. That was sort of fun to turn that character on its ear. It was fun. I sort of said, theres no other girl smurfs. And i found out, she was created. And shes naughty. Its fun to be the bad girl in a kids movie. Do we have time . I want to show a quick clip of vexy in action. Being naughty, we use all our goodness against her. Once that happens, shell feel like shes part of our family. Hey, smurfette, did you do this with your sisters back in surf village . Is that weird . Its embarrassing to watch yourself doing the lines with no one there. You make all kinds of weird faces. And you have to go for it. It resulted is a really fun movie. Stay with us on good morning america. And im here, now, with Richard Haass, the president of the council on foreign relations. He wrote a new book Foreign Policy begins at home. And i call it provocative because you are someone, the president of the council on foreign relations. Spent your entire life in the Foreign Policy establishment, the state department for several administrations. Youre saying the most important Foreign Policy goal, is to fix everything right here. Not a book i expected to write, george. But i wrote it for the reason you said. If we fix it here, restore the foundations of our economy, well have the capacity over the coming decades, to deal with all of the challenges in the world. If, however, we dont get it right, and restore traditional levels of economic growth, we will not have the resources we need to lead in the world. We will not be able to set an example to the world. And you lay out an ambitious agenda. More in education, no infrastructure. Roads and bridges and mass transit. And we also have to deal with our debt, the same kinds of things talked about in washington every, single day. But it seems like the system is broken. National security has two sides. Domestic policy and the Foreign Policy. You have to address both sides. And you raised the question. The ideas are out there. The president is giving a big speech on infrastructure and jobs. The real question is, can american politics work . Can washington work . I hope so because the alternative is we wake up one day, theres a terrible crisis. And the world gets tired of supporting american debt. And then, were going to be faced with the same problem as europe. And the rest of the world looks at our system and actually cant figure it out. One of the interesting things is washington, in many year areas, you know, from your career, isnt working. You see more happening at other levels. But it cant substitute. Our founders talked about checks and balances. Weve raised that to a level on steroids. We have more checks and balances than we want. And the result is, were no longer functioning and we cant deliver. So, weve become a threat to our own future. Were also learning from a time when the United States is involved in the longest war in our history. Almost completely out of iraq right now. And it seems like so Many Americans at home are tired of all that. Theres intervention fatigue. And i think one of the lessons is, we cant remake the rest of the world like we tried to do in iraq and afghanistan. This is not prescription for doing nothing. The rest of the world will not ignore us or leave us alone, even if we leave the rest of the world alone. Isolationism would be folly. We have to get the balance right. At the same time, we have to fix things at home. Whats the most important thing president obama could do right now to fix that balance . I would say the most important thing, is to get American Growth up to traditional levels. Roughly twice what they are. Fix the longterm entitlement problems. Five, ten years out, we know what we have to do with things like medicare. Get immigration reform. Passed right now. Have a National Infrastructure bank. And get americans working again. It comes back to what we began with. All these things are domestic. We have to restore the domestic side of national security. At the same time, stop trying to do things in the world that we simply cant do. Richard haass, president of we only have a few seconds left. A big congratulations to one of our writers.
