"this is still something i struggle with - i don't see - even under the best circumstances, how switching to private companies is going to save any money for the state."karol has fibromyalgia and lives daily with memory loss, fatigue and joint pain. while federal officials hope this extra time will allow for a smoother change - karol says medicaid patients like herself still feel out of the loop.she says the letters in the mail from the iowa department of human services hel - but without easy internet access - she can't always use the lilis they direct her to. to.
