released video, of a deadly officer involved shooting. it happened back in september. a suspect shot and badly injured douglas county sheriff's detective dan brite. and that suspect was shot and killed by police. parker police just held a press conference on the shooting incident. fox31's jim hooley is live with the details and that newly released video. good morning we just looked at the video with parker police and officials from the arapahoe office an amazing eye-opening video one of the officer's body camera by officer ronnie at that time after officer dan were shot. take a look at the video will give you exactly a good idea about what happened from that officer's perspective on the afternoon of september 2. at this point he knows detective has been shot he is running by some cars trying to take cover and the suspect opened fire and derail returns just one shot officer durell did everything just right. to know that there's an officer down to know that people are being shot district attorney has rolled offi in shooting and killing the suspect on the afternoon. for detective dan bright we are told that he is still recovering a rehab center right now but the police chief 31. thank you. new at this hour. the rocky ford officer, who is convicted of killing a man while on duty is scheduled to be sentenced. james ashby became the first officer in colorado, in decades to be convicted of second degree murder for something that happened while on duty. jack jacquez was shot and killed by ashby in 2014 after ashby chased him into his mother's home. ashby was on the force just four months when it happened. we're getting a look at the people accused of stealing broncos ne ware's superbowl ring. billy mccaslin and sergio irreza are expected in court today. police say they are the men who were arrested in this case. a tip came in from crime stoppers and that's how they were able to arrest them. the suspects in the burglary were caught on surveillance. the superbowl 50 ring was just one of the things taken from ware's apartment. a marine veteran, who was traveling across the country bicycle was stolen while he was here in colorado. robert kugler found out his nine year old dog bella had cancer had to have her leg amputated, and was only given three to six month to live. we spoke to kugler via skype back in july as he was taking bell on a cross country trip. yesterday kugler posted a long note on his facebook saying his bike was stolen. the post was a personal letter to whoever took it. chance for a new way of life. this is your chance to provide
