"they took their money.... you know they took their time out of their day.. to come out and hang stuff up for people that needed it. that's... appreciation." earlier this winter, residents found scarves in parks throughout the area. a harding middle school student is being recognized as apart of a nationwide campaign tied to the super bowl..... coming up... how he was chosen to be a part of the ad campaign.... why he feels honored... from who h-d iowa's high definition leader..you're watching the as we gear up for the super bowl this weekend, a local middle schooler is helping with an ad campaign... harding middle school student johnny castro is part of a nation wide social media campaign... it promotes several p-s-a's that will air during the super bowl. it's all part of the 'i have a dream' campaign. part of it features castro holding a football and diploma in a cap and gown. the i have a dream foundation helps children from low income areas save for college and make higher education a reality. castro hopes to attend iowa state university and become a police officer. he says he understands how special it is to be part of this campaign. 'i was impressed and happy because some kids dont get to do the same things as us, so i want people to do the castro says while he prefers european futbol....for the super bowl he will be cheering on weakness in a new u.s. jobs report... and questioning the strength of the u.s. economy. but, president obama is seeing strength in the jobs numbers...especially the employment rate. peter barnes has the latest. president obama celebrating new u.s. jobs numbers out friday... obama says: "after reaching 10 percent in 2009, the unemployment rate has now fallen to 4.9 percent." mister obama highlighting news of the lowest unemployment rate of his presidency: obama says: "this is the first has dipped below 5 percent in almost eight years. americans are working." the president praising the u.s. economy...pointing to low oil prices...as well as wage and income growth... obama says: "the united states of america right now has the strongest, most durable economy in the world. i know that's still inconvenient for republican stump speeches as their doom and despair tour plays in new hampshire." but, the president's enthusiasm tempered by wall street ...with stocks dipping friday... as the labor department's report also shows u.s. job creation slowed last month. sharply ...compared with recent months... as companies let go of some eighty-four thousand education, transportation, warehousing and temp workers. and, there was also news friday that u.s. exports fell in 2015 for first time since the great recession. obama says: "so unemployment, down." obama says: "that does not mean that we don't have more work to do. there is softness in the global economy. china is going through a transition. europe's economy is still slow. a lot of the emerging markets are challenged." still... in a sign of strong consumer demand, retailers, restaurants and bars have stepped up hiring. in washington, peter barnes, fox news. tight polls are giving way to loose lips on the campaign only that we need to have someone who is competent and qualified and ready to difficulties of the presidency, but we need someone who can beat hillary clinton's only remaining opponent on the democratic side, dropped some haymakers of his own... calling clinton out for cozying up to wall street ... promising to reign in big banks if elected president. sanders says: "they got bailed out under the argument that banks were too big to fail... today, it turns out that 3 of the 4 largest banks are bigger now than when we bailed them out." taking incoming fire from a cavalcade of candidates is not clinton's only problem. during an msnbc debate last night, the former secretary of state insists she's worry free, despite the state department announcing 22 of her e-mails contained information too "top secret" to release. clinton says: "i am 100 percent confident. this is a security review that was requested. it is being carried out. it will be resolved." waldman says : "a new quinnipiac university lead over sanders ...giving up a 31-point lead back in december. in washington, joel waldman, fox news." donald trump has the most to lose since he's sitting high atop the polls.. dana bash explains, that's why being absent from the granite state today is the last thing trump needed. it turns out being a billionaire with your own plane can be politically perilous. "i know jeb. i know his good heart and his strong backbone. jeb will unite our country." but jeb bush's former protege - marco rubio - could be standing in his way. he's sharpening his criticism to try slow rubio's rise, with this new ad. "jeb bush ran florida, marco rubio = finish the sentence. well i mean that, i would just say he's a guy that's been able to uh, number one, uh... the bottom line is he didn't get accomplishments done, neither did president obama." rubio is the publisher of new hampshire's conservative union leader, who endorsed christie, wrote: "young rubio must think new hampshire a bunch of rubes. he hasn't spent much time here but is trying to sell himself with tv ads as someone who can go to washington to clean up the washington mess." meanwhile - ben carson won't let up on ted cruz for what carson aides call dirty tricks iowa caucus night -- sending this email erroneously suggesting carson may drop out. cruz has apologized, but carson isn't satisfied, telling buzzfeed: "not to take corrective action is tacitly saying it's okay, or it's sort of like, as hillary clinton said after benghazi, 'what difference does it make'... carson said it doesn't rise to the level of benghazi but -- quote -- "i'm saying it's the same kind of attitude." pregnant women whose sexual partner has traveled to or lives in an area affected by the zika virus.. should refrain from sex or use condoms until the baby is born. that's part of the updated guidelines on zika virus released by the centers for disease control and prevention.. the c-d-c says even though virus is now possible.. mosquito bites remain the primary way that the virus is transmitted.. and because there is currently no vaccine or treatment .. c-d-c director doctor tom frieden says there are steps you can take whether you are pregnant or not to protect yourself from the disease.... freiden says: "we're hopeful that in a few years we might have a vaccine against zika and it may be very to apply the tools we have now. in addition to the recommendations for couples.. the c-d-c added jamaica and tonga to its travel alert list of nations that pregnant women should avoid... bringing the number up to thirty. julian assange is one step closer to leaving the ecuadorian embassy in london. a u-n panel ruling the wikileaks founder has been "arbitrarily detained" by britain and sweden since december 20-10. assange took refuge at the embassy in june 20-12... in an avoid extradition to sweden, where prosecutors want to question him over rape allegations, which he denies. meantime, a separate criminal investigation into wikileaks 'basically we will try to enforce it in united kingdom courts, in swedish courts, in international mechanisms. i can't see how united kingdom can maintain this position. international law is not ridiculous, human rights are not ridiculous but committing crimes, committing arbitrary detention that is ridiculous' no charges have been filed against assange in sweden, but, an international arrest
