"the protesters outside are idiots and they're very gross so i don't think they're really going to appeal to anyone." "every night when we say prayers we thank for our food, and for those who are not as fortunate as us, and hope they have a meal to eat as well " that's why steve kossayian and his son tim decided to help fill the subarru at the 16th avenue southwest fareway in cedar rapids with canned goods. "18:26:12;01 my end goal would be to be able to get enough exposure and if everyone donated in a perfect world a dollar or five dollars, i could every school in our area" cassie says she knows a lot of parents who struggle with paying for lunches. iowa law enforcement are planning ahead for holiday traffic. many agencies are participating in a special thanksgiving traffic enforcement week. the program starts tomorrow and runs through november 27th. authorities will try to increase has seen more than 335 traffic fatalities. nearly half of those involved people not wearing a seat belt. over the holiday, last year, five people were killed on iowa roads. this month, colleges across the country have helped students who are upset over the presidential election. the university of nevada, las vegas is offering therapy for those who suffer from post-election anxiety. tom george tells us more. at the marriage and family therapy center at to come in for counseling on personal and relationship issues. but this is the first time unlv is offering counseling because of an election. dr. kat hertlein says she noticed a need because student came in reporting anxiety over the results of the election. she says she decided to host private group therapy sessions to discuss issues people have been feeling after november 8th. hertlein says it's not just also helping families with differing opinions in the election. she says with thanksgiving coming up, it's important to learn to navigating conversation s with family. students at unlv were all sent an e-mail telling them the counseling was available, and it's generated a lot of buzz on campus. "they call us cry- babies," says unlv student katie randolph. but, randolph says, she thinks it's a positive thing for students to have the counseling option. "it was important for us to together for the purpose of being supportive to one another? this tour is simply not about the business of bashing police," mccorry said. "we hope the conditions get better." yolanda mcnair, of detroit, was among the tour members in cincinnati. "the strength is in numbers," mcnair said. "people pay attention when they hear many people saying, 'hey that's not right.' if someone's hurting, i know that pain. i know i'll make my way to them if i can." mcnair brought five other family members to cincinnati, including kimberly griffin, who lost her son in 2015.
