Council bluffs is home to 3 casinos and local gaming Officials Says the cedar rapids casino would likely have limited impact if it happens. Last week, planners in cedar cost about 40 million dollars. Thats less then a quarter of the cost the previous casino plan totaled. The state Gaming Commission refused to grant cedar rapids a license in 2014, citing the effect it would have on casinos in riverside and waterloo. Student volunteers want to make sure one cedar rapids neighborhood near their campus is clean before autumn hits.
