Were expecting to receive more information from police later this morning. A fundraiser today will help an eastern iowa girl recover after a crash more than two months ago. The iowa state patrol says 42yearold marilyn coon and her daughter hailey died in this crash in marengo on june 30th. Coons other daughter, 9 yearold lana coon, went to uihc with serious injuries. A

The group says the pipeline is infringing on property rights, along with endangering water and construction isnt happening for the time being in north dakota. The

sioux tribe there received a mixed message yesterday about the pipeline. First, a federal judge denied the tribes request to stop construction, which would take the pipeline under a lake near their reservation. But after that decision, federal agencies asked
Dakota Access
to stop construction on a 40 mile span of land along that lake. Now, the army corps of engineers will review its decisions on whether the pipeline shou the work stoppage is bringing them new hope.
