down the mississippi river. about a week ago, the family was camping at the big h campground, near cassville. they saw the dog struggling in fast moving mississippi waters. the family has no idea how long the beagle was in the water. they say the animal is deaf. a veterinarian couldn't couldn't figure out if flood waters damaged her hearing. the family says the pup is "the night that she came in council says the state has issued 37 beach advisories this year for blue-green algae blooms. the council says the previous record was 34 advisories, last year. it's a growing problem. the dnr issued
