"we have engineers and artists working together on projects to learn more about how creativity project two years ago. the university hopes to complete the addition by next fall. midamerican energy is now looking for land in iowa. it needs space for more than one thousand wind turbines. the iowa utilities board approved the company's three point six billion dollar wind turbine proposal yesterday. the utilities board says the project will put iowa on track to use wind energy to meet 85 percent of its electricity tonight's farmers market after dark in downtown cedar rapids could affect you whether or not you plan to go. if you're not going, it'll be tough to drive through downtown because the city's shutting down second and third avenues from first street to sixth street starting at grew up in the des moines area and graduated from roosevelt high school. she got her start in community theater the 90-year-old has more than a dozen awards including an oscar for 'the last picture show'. she also competed on the abc show dancing with the stars in 2005. a little league baseball team from iowa's chance at a world series ended early this year. but the young team from johnston say "we ask that people don't just self-dispatch themselves to the scene, let's give our professionals time to take as long as two weeks. governor terry branstad issued disaster proclamation s for five counties in that area. he and lieutenant governor kim reynolds toured some of the flood damage yesterday. branstad said some victims are in very difficult financial situations. "flash flooding also, unfortunately, is not covered by flood insurance. so we have situations where some people are being told it's not covered, they're not going to indeed that is the case." branstad says he's trying to determine if the damage in northeast iowa adds up to at least four point three million dollars. if so, he would be able to ask for a presidential disaster declaration and federal disaster relief. one elkader woman who has experienced doesn't plan on moving. 90-year-old rachel engelhardt says everything she needs and loves is right in her neighborhood. kcrg-tv9 dubuque bureau chief katie wiedemann reports. it was over the microwave, so it would have been that high. in june 2008, flood water nearly destroyed her home. " on thursday, rachel and her family mo the house. just in case the rising river spilled over. republican presidential nominee donald trump is campaigning with senator joni ernst today in central iowa. trump won't be on a motorcycle himself, but is joining in on ernst's annual roast and ride in des moines. the annual event takes off from the iowa state ir harley davidson shop on des moines's north side. governor branstad and iowa's republican members of congress will also be there. this is video from last year's ride where several former republican presidential candidates met with voters. ernst says trump's visits to iowa tend to stir up attention, most of which she says is positive. "i hear a lot more about donald trump when he comes into the state - again i hear a lot more about when he comes into town and the type of excitement he's generating versus hilary clinton - i hear very little about her visits to iowa i don't even know how many times she's been to iowa " statistical tie with former secretary of state hillary clinton in iowa. results from quinnipiac university last week show clinton with a 47 to 44 percent lead. that's within the margin of error. iowa's 4th district congressman steve king says he's concerned donald trump is softening his stance on illegal immigration. trump's campaign tells abc news he'll a speech sometime next week. despite a possible change in approach, king says he's happy trump is still bringing up the issue.
