First responders got the call of a person in the river, just north of the benton street bridge, at about 6 30 saturday night. Around 7 45, they pulled nathan twedts body from the river. He was a student at the university of northern iowa. The Sheriffs Office is asking for information from anyone who knows what happened, or saw twedt go into the river. If you have information, call two motorcycle drivers died after a crash in scott county. The Sheriffs Office says an suv crossed into oncoming traffic on highway 67 late last night. Investigators say it crashed with several motorcycles, killing them instantly. A third motorcycle driver was treated at the scene. The suvs driver also went to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Deputies have not released the names of anyone involved.
