"a piglet weighting 15- 20 pounds comes south to iowa, where it's fed and raised to 250 pounds then goes to market. the value added to that 15-20 pound piglet all occurs in iowa." says when businesses had to deal with all the paperwork.. they'd rather just use u-s piglets.. of farrowing barns in manitoba.. because its low winter climates kill off disease.. the piglets there were contracted to ship to the south.. where we have a feed halt with cool. "so we went from sending about six million weenlings from manitoba to be finished and slaughtered in the south to about one million or even lesssshan that. it was a huge decrease" and over in the january livestock, dairy, and poultry outlook from the u-s-s-a there is suggestiti of a slow ramp- up of live hog imports.. canadian live hogs are expected to increase nine percent this year.. to about six million head.. before live hog imports peaked at about surge is not expected because canadian hog inventories have declined.. and the country is dealing with more local packer dedend. ---- it's a stagnant beans are going a bit to the upside.. but it doesn't look like this sideways soon. corn. there's extradited those positions with a small loss, but we're about.." "extremely volatile, straight down, i'm currently not involved i think a short position is coming. but the problem is, the risk reward is just not in your favor at this time. i mean, tomorrow we could be limit up or limit down and i don't like that percentage." "the hogs have been rallying. the highs in the june hogs was on october 13th, which was around $81.65 so it looks like they're going to go up there. i was short the hogs and i took a loss on this
