" 28:44, "there really isn't anything close around here this residential neighborhood " dozens of others in favor of this proposal also spoke to city council. many say there isn't enough affordable housing in cedar rapids. advocacy groups for this proposal, like the willis dady shelter, say this plan would have been ideal for the city. especially since there isn't supportive housing on the city's northwest side. " 31:02, "something that's been seen as a beneficial project is to have people in different parts of the community not just in southeast cedar rapids.
