The fbi director is in the midst of a political firestorm under searing attack, now under intense pressure to say whether the batch of emails are connected to Hillary Clinton, and whether they are significant or not. This morning, armed with a court order, fbi agents are set to begin an intensive effort to go through thousands of emails which sources say are connected to huma abedin, one of Hillary Clintons closest confidants. These emails were discovered while the fbi was investigating abedins estranged husband, Anthony Weiner. In connection with a sexting scandal, allegedly involving in minor. The fbi wants to know if the emails contain classified information and if theyre connected to secretary clintons private server. Fbi director comeys disclosure to congress has released a barrage of attacks unleashed by officials blindsided by the announcements. Democrats took aim. In july, the director said no reasonable prosecutor would move forward. And theres nothing that we have has said to alter that conclusion. But his unprecedented decision to publicly comment on evidence on what may be inqu inquiry 11 days before the president ial election leaves us astonished and perplexed. People have talked about comey. I have talked to fbi agents, former fbi agents, prosecutors, former prosecutors who have scratched their heads about how the investigation was conducted reached 3 1 2 months ago to not indict. There is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive highly classified information. They are not revisiting the old investigation. Theyre not looking back and saying, did we get it right the first time . This is just a question of, is there something new that w surpass that very high Legal Standard which is intentional mishandling of classified information. Obstruction of justice. But the long arm of authorities caught up with 38yearold Michael Vance late sunday night the 38yearold refused to give up and died in a shootout with police about 130 miles northwest of oklahoma city. Police had been searching for him since october 23rd. He was accused first of shooting two Police Officers, and then carkak jacking a couple as he fled. He shot another woman in the try and drove eight miles to a home where police say he brutally killed two family members. What frustrated police more was when he went to social media to brag about the story. Let me tell you, it hurts. Reporter he livestreamed his getaway. Wow, that really hurt, see, im bleeding where the police shot me. Reporter authorities caught up with vance sunday morning when Police Spotted him leaving the campsite.
