questioned about welcoming lobbyists that he railed against during his campaign. >> and this was kind of interesting. former rival ted cruz also met with trump yesterday. senator cruz didn't reveal any details of his meeting, but some reports say he is being considered for attorney general. cruz would only say that he's looking forward to working closely with trump and pence to repeal obamacare and confirm a conservative supreme court justice. and outgoing leader harry reid is calling on trump to rescind his appointment of steve bannon as chief strategist. reid slammed bannon in a speech from the senate floor over his leadership at breitbart news which aligns itself with white nationalist views. >> as long as a champion of racial division is a step away from the oval office, it will be impossible to take trump's efforts to heal the nation seriously, so i say to donald trump, take responsibility. rise to the dignity of the office of president of the behind your twitter account. >> reid also blamed trump's election for sparking a wave of hate crimes, but he said democrats would work with trump whenever they can. and hillary clinton is expected to make her first public appearance
