Prosecutors wanted prison for 22yearold Austin Wilkerson. They found the university of colorado student guilty of raping a half conscious female after a party in 2014. It was a one time thing and we are forgetting that this wasnt something that happened to the perpetrator. It was something they chose to do. University student brock turner was convicted of rape but also lauded for his swimming record and avoided swimming time. We have seen other instances where it is a person of color or not an athlete and they are not in college. They are not as worthy of that mercy it seems. He doesnt have to think about his disease every day. As a mom, Michael Bennet gave me a future with my son. Im able to see him in the future getting married, graduating from college.
