overnight. scavengers were going through a trash bin and realized something looked suspicious and reported it to police. one of the devices explosives while a bomb squad robot tried to disarm it. that shows you the power of the devices. investigators suspended all trains going through elizabeth on amtrak and new jersey transit lines were also suspended there. now, let's take aiv fbi and other law enforcement agencies are focusing on their attention on a building with a business and apartments above it. not clear yet whether this is connected to the discovery of those five pipe bombs at that transit station last night. this morning authorities reported finding another suspicious package at union station in manhattan. the scene has been cleared this morning. connected to the saturday bombing in new york. it injured 29 people. surveillance video shows people running for cover after a pressure cooker bomb exploded. this left nearly again 30 people hurt. police also found a second pressure cooker device four blocks away. so far city leaders are not calling the entire incident an act of terrorism. >> we have more work to do to be able to say what kind of motivation was behind this. was it a political motivation? >> investigators are also trying to figure out whether the chelsea bombing is connected to another explosion that happened saturday in see side park nj unanimously. it happened before a marine corp. charity run. luckily regulations administration problems delayed the event. the explosion may have used a cell phone as a trigger just like the devices found in new spree in saint cloud, minnesota. the fbi is calling that a potential act of terrorism. it left nine people hurt on saturday night and all of them fortunately are expected to survive. a 20 year old man dressed as a private security guard went into the cross roads center on saturday night and used a kitchen knife to hurt nine people. an off duty police and killed him. a islamic news facility is calling him a soldier of the islamic state. the community is condemning the attack. pueblo police are looking for a young mother and son who may be in danger. 2 year old and 21 year old were last seen together on thursday. police say they were in the plate number of a 109832. passengers stuck on a plane that veered off a runway at dia are now in reno this morning. no one was hurt. the flight ended up in a grassy area after the brakes failed and that forced the pilot to use reverse thrust. >> the and we realized we were slowing down than going faster and then the airplane stopped suddenly. >> they towed the plane out of the grass and the passengers used stairs to get off the plane on to the tarmac and a bus took them into the concourse and another plane left for reno an accident in the eastbound direction of i-70. it's blocking the far left lane. take a look at the pictures from copter4. two cars involved in the accident. the white car not much left of the back end of the car. you can see the heavy police presence we have and the behind this. if you're coming from the west heading in the eastbound direction take a look at the map. you can see the delays and that solid line of red as everybody moves to single file in the eastbound direction from colfax. 6th and colfax are your best options. keep in mind you have to head in the northbound direction before i-25 to avoid the heaviest part of the traffic. taking a look across the denver metro area, an accident f along there and a stall in the southbound direction of i-25 as you get to 6th. if you're about happening right here this evening. there's still questions surrounding what actually led to the crash. the husband of the 43 year old says the coroner says she had an enlarged heart and may have had a heart attack. his wife had no known health issues at the time of the crash. bus drivers are required to undergo a department of transportation medical exam every two years and she pd she was a grandmother and mother to four children. josh says she loved her job. the memorial is open so anybody can come here and pay respects tonight at 6:00 p.m. there's a gofundme page to help with the funeral expenses and so far it's raised 25 thousand dollars of a total 30 thousand dollars requested. the investigation is still active and an official cause of the crash has yet to be revealed. cbs4 news. army national guard contractors are looking for unidentified devices. the army has been recovering shells left over from artillery practice from 1912 to the late 1930s when green mountain was used for practice. the work is in mesa view estates neighborhood areas. crews previously found explosives at hayden park. city council members hope to move forward on a plan to situation. there's a final reading on a proposed housing fund. city council members passed two measures last week, a proposed (15) 000-0000 plan raises fees to build affordable housing. an alternate measure delays the fees and tax increase by a year. city council members will revisit the plan tonight at 5:30 at the city and county building. >> the focus shifts to the bengals after the broncos beat the colts 34-20. rahami. he's a naturalized citizen from afghanistan. investigate gators say a pressure cooker device buzz --. >> the story gets more complicated. more brek breaking news this morning cht police found five devices inside a backpack outside a train station in elizabeth, new jersey. two men were scavenging trash cans and reported seeing the devices. they saw wires and a pipe coming out of the trash. one device exploded while a bomb squad robot was trying to disarm it. that is what itoo no one was hurt after this happened. investigators suspended all trains going on elizabeth station on am traj and new jersey lines. commuter trains are resuming service this morning. live to elizabeth, new jersey and police are out pseudoa business. the fbi is law enforcement are focusing their attention on a us here on cbs4. back here at home, a wife and mother of four will be laid to rest today. this woman was killed when she crashed a school bus with student football players and coaches on board at dia. jamie leary is live ahead of carrie choppers funeral at crest roads church in north yeah, the memorial expected to draw tons of support. the community has raised 25,$000, nearly 26,000 to help the chopper family with funeral costs. -- -- $25,000. she leaved behind her husband josh, a grand child and four children. the memorial is open so anybody can come to pay respects. it will happen here at cross is saying about a possible health condition carry has that may lead to the crash. a little girl is raising money for a friend seriously hurt in a house fire in lakewood. i first told you about the story a couple weeks ago. firefighters rescued a five year old girl from inside a house on west vasser way hiding in a closet. she's still in the hospital. her neighbor to help. she's selling apple juice and cider. >> everyone got out fine except for her. >> she knew what she wanted. just helped her set it up and kept her company out here. >> and you helped me pour it. >> i helped her pour too. >> dad helped with a little bit of the pouring. she's raised $350 yesterday and has plans to set up again this afternoon. broncos hope to improve to bengals next weekend. they beat the colts pattern, high pressure dominating for us and cooler air heading our way by the middle of the week and into the end of the week. much chillier temperatures to the north. 90 by the end of the week. in the 70s. let's check in with joel, good morning. a couple big trouble spots. seems they are getting better as we get to the heart of the rush direction of i-225 making your way out to i-25 this morning and we're starting to see that load up a bit. here's the trouble spot we have been watching eastbound along i-70 from the west at young field and 32nd there. you're not able to exit off so they cleared the traffic before. the left lane getting by they have cleared this off on to the ramp so you're not able to exit on to 32nd or young field. you can see the big delays approach to kipling. a lot of folks using that as an alternate this morning. you can head in the northbound direction of kipling but now you can get by it's best to wait it out and should be a better drive. here we are across the denver metro area. an earlier trouble spot on the ramp from santa fe to northbound that's been cleared. new trouble along parker road to the south of i-225. it's running slow and westbound along i-70 from i-225 r we're seeing slowing in the usual spots in the westbound direction of i-76 eastbound along i-2709. here's the slowing in the eastbound direction, speeds dipping down into the 20s that is a 36-minute drive, a mess of a drive getting into town as you're coming from the east, a little bit of a different situation. southbound along i-225 speeds dipping down into the 20s so about children taking a popular painkiller. the american academy of pediatrics finds evidence linking codeine to deadly breathing reactions. doctors say children metabolize the drug faster than adults. experts fear children may experience dangerous problems. new research may change the way parents feed their babies. many parents are skipping spoon feeding six month old babies pureed foods and them feed themselves solid foods. now a new study in pediatrics suggests babies fed this way are less likely to choke than babies fed the traditional way. researchers remind parents not to offer foods considered a choking hazard. this year will mark two decades since jonbenet ramsey was murdered. tonight rick sallinger takes a look at the official investigation and where it stands today. police presence here and we're told the nypd is on heightened alert this morning. let me tell you about the suspect. police say he's 28 years old and a u.s. citizen and lives in new jersey. police this morning are saying he is armed and dangerous. the fbi is now looking for this man, 28-year old ahmad khan rahami, sources suspect in the manhattan bombing and he's harmed and dangerous. authorities in new jersey suspended train service overnight after a backpack with five suspicious devices inside was found at a train station in elizabeth. the city's mayor says one of the devices went off unintentionally as the bomb squad inspected it. the bomb squad took several people into custody during a with saturday night's explosion. the surveillance video shows people running for cover after the pressure cooker bomb was set off. so far city officials are not alling the indent an act of terrorism. >> we have more work to do to say what kind of motivation was behind this. >> intelligence experts are pointing to connections between the chelsea attack and the boston marathon bomb. a pressure cocker device used in the 2013 marathon attack. officials say the device found in new york had cell phones attached. >> that's a step up in sophistication. that gives them the ability to detonate the thing from anywhere and it's very troubling. >> investigators are trying to figure out whether the chelsea bomb is connected to another explosion saturday in new jersey which also may have used a cell phone as a trigger. >> reporter: police believe this new york are related. there are reports that ahmad khan rahami was seen at both locations on the surveillance video. back to you. >> so we had those devices found in new jersey in elizabeth and now there's a police raid in the same community. hena daniels, what do you know? >> they deemed the train station safe a few hours ago and then we heard reports that the fbi was conducting raids at a nearby business. it's some kind of fried if this business and ahmad khan rahami have any connection. there's an attached apartment to that restaurant that ahmad khan rahami may have been living in. the fbi is conducting an them to veer off the runway into a grassy area. the passengers are safe in reno this morning and the good news is no one is hurt but the trouble led to a delay of almost around 7:00. the brakes failed forcing if pilot to use the emergency reverse engine. crews towed the praen out of the grass and a bus took passengers to another concourse where another plane left for reno around 10:00. only two games in but i'm saying broncos defense just might be the best its been this year. i said it. >> bold move. >> they face the bengals next. the offense still has work but yesterday trevor siemian did temperatures and it may get breezy for us this afternoon. overnight tonight, clouds from that storm are heading our direction and some rain in the southern part of the state tomorrow afternoon and evening and snow down there as well. here in denver we notice an increase in cloud cover as well. 88 in boulder and 89 in fort # 89 in grand junction. cooler by the end of the week and cooler air will
