More than a thousand people are forced out of their homes by a fire in southern colorado this morning. South metro fire has sent two engines to help out. Fire crews expect to get more aircraft up and fighting the fire once the sun comes up this morning. Crews are working around the clock to protect structures as fan the flames. Beulah is southwest of pueblo. Some say the fire moved in quickly. The house below us was on fire, so by the time i got up here they had the road blocked off. He grabbed a few things and got down here because there were propane tanks that blew up there. At least seven structures are destroyed and the fire has burned about four square miles. So far there is zero containment. There are no injuries to report. A denver mother accused of killing her husband with their children at home faces a judge. Police say Roxanne Sanchez jamie killed their husband at their home while their four children were inside. Neighbors tell us the victim and suspect had been separated. The shooting happened september 25th on a sunday at a home in East Randolph place. She is facing first degree murder charges. The public can weigh in on the future of denver planning today.
