Couple tracks from the Blues Brothers taken from their 1980 date for Atlantic Records made in America we heard who's making the love and the opening numbers which is a medley of soul finger and funky Broadway Elwood Blues better known as Dan Ackroyd on the vocals on harmonica Julie had Jake Blues or John Belushi on Boucle Zz and a great combination of session players Steve the colonel cropper on guitar Donald Duck done on bass along with Murphy done on the keyboards and many horn players including Tom bones Malone bloomer ini Mr Fabulous Alan Reuben Tom Scott and additional rhythm section work by Mack Atar Murphy and Paul Shaffer and the keyboards then we started up with Sam and Dave taken from their album Hold on I'm common and that was the title track more great blues r. And b. And soul on the way we're going to turn now back a few decades to Johnny Ace with a common problem we all face no money. Or no. North. Atlantic payment no. lol lol. Lol lol. Lol lol lol. On the vocal work buggy would be this taken from an epic LP of the early fifty's untitled Lester leaps in it's actually a compilation of a variety of singles that the band recorded in the late 1930 s. This one in particular recorded on September 5th 1039 the boogie woogie count basi on the piano Walter page on bass Joe Jones on drums and then the big band featuring many of the fine folks he played in that area including Benny Moulton buck Clayton Harry Addison and many others bogey wiki part of that we heard a couple from Johnny Otis beer bottle Boogie which featured Marilyn Scott on vocal work and the lead number from him if it's so baby this taken from a compilation the complete Suborder accordions rhythm and blues caravan for Johnny Otis some great material from the 1940 s. And fifty's if so baby and beer bottle Boogie and we lead off with Johnny Ace with no money taken from another compilation the complete Duke recordings of Johnny Ace no money was backed up by Johnny board in his orchestra exact recording date I'm not positive on this but the early 1950 s. Because we tragically lost Johnny Ace not too long after that.
