Two new york Police Officers are injured. One officer was struck and his bulletproof vest and the other was shot in the hip. Both are expected to make a full recovery. The suspect, jamal funes, was Critical Condition this morning. Police have notified the fbis joint terrorist task force as a precaution while investigators continue to piece together exactly what happened. A des moines woman says she received an automated message from a fake irs agent. The caller told her she had a pending lawsuit and needed to pay up. The irs, however, does not call people and only communicates through mail. Alyx Officials Say the best thing to do if scammers call just hang up. Des Moines Police could soon all be wearing body cameras. Police chief dana wingert says his plan is for every uniformed officer to be wearing a camera by june. The department has received bids from seven body camera suppliers and is working to select a model that is also compatible with its in car camera system. Wingert estimates the body as 1. 4 million. Private donors and cash and property seized from suspected criminals. The rest will come from the departments budget.
