Unsure about a possible suspect in the incident. Des Moines Police tell us they interviewed the victim identified as Dustin Curtis while he was being treated at iowa methodist. Curtis told police that he heard a small pop while getting cigarettes from his car. He said he later discovered a small wound to his stomach and was taken to the emergency room. However, police say there are inconsistencies in curtis story as well as that of a witness. Right now they are trying to , determine if the wound may have somehow been self inflicted perhaps by accident. , curtis under went surgery. His condition is not known at this time. Officials say Michael Amodeo and jessy foley were discovered missing from the Newton Correctional Center around 10 00 saturday night. Amodeo is serving a 10 year sentence on drug related charges. Foley is serving a 27 year charges. If you see them, or know where they might be, you are asked to contact police. An estimated 1600 people who were overpaid a total of nearly 434,000 in Unemployment Benefits can keep the money. This year, we have gone to the root of doing Partnership Concerts where we like to help other area groups raise money for their organizations. Our first concert this year was at waukee high school.
