According to the complaint, the first incident took place on december 1 when 46yearold johnson used his position as a School Employee to gain access to the 16yearold victims personal cell number and called her. Then on december 3 johnson allegedly pulled her out of class, told the teacher that he would be right back and then took her to his class room. The complaint states the victim was then kept there for more than an hour. And during that time, johnson allegedly made sexual advances on the teen by kissing and touching her. The complaint also says the victim was a student of johnsons last school year. Johnson has bonded out of jail. He is under a no contact order with minors. I checked with des moines public schools. Johnson has been a teacher at roosevelt since 2001. Right now he is on leave with the district. Johnson is due back in court december 18. Jurors found pete polson guilty of attempted murder and assault to inflict serious injury. Polson told jurors he was too high on methamphetamine to form the intent to kill. A polk county judge sentenced polson to 55 years in prison. The 3 victims addressed polson this morning, including mark mitchell, who was shot in the abdomen while he was standing outside his home.
