"a host of women who claim to have been assaulted by bill cosby, even decades ago, may suddenly feel vindicated. 20/20 therese serignese.. " now it's tim for him to be sorry" it was andrea constand's case that prompted 13 other women to come forward to her attorneys with their own allegations of sexual assault?offering to testify on her behalf. now prosecutors could turn to those accusers to strengthen their criminal case. since their cases were never prosecuted, pennsylvania law allows them to testify as witnesses in a sexual-assault case. in the deposition for constand's case released over the summer, when cosby was asked if he ever used quaaludes to elicit consensual sex in the past he said yes at this point there are more than 50 women who have accusing cosby of sexual assault, drugging or rape. the 78 year old has long denied the allegations. cosby "i have been in this business 52 years and i have never seen anything like this." when the embattled comedian sat down with us back in may, he would not discuss the allegations directly. "and i can't speak." earlier this month the man once regarded as america's favorite dad fought back, filing a countersuit against seven of his accusers who had filed defamation suits against him. his attorney monique pressley "we are taking steps in order to right a wrong." the statute of limitations for pressing criminal charges has expired for most of the accusers?but many civil suits are in the works: glorida allred "seeing him criminally charged and face a trial is the best christmas present that they have ever received. " jessica rae: coming up in sports...briar cliff wrapped up their holiday classic with a bang last night. we'll have all the action from the hardwood up ahead. scott: jessica rae: los angeles for the rose bowl... and the fans came with them as well. last night... thousands of iowa fans came together at the los angeles convention center for the hawkeye huddle. "a sea of black and gold flooded downtown los angeles as an estimated 15-20,000 hawkeye fans rallied together at the hawkeye huddle. people like marty polka, who was is all iowa, from head to toe. " it's a halloween costume. i normally have lights on it. in indy i had lights on it but maybe a once in a lifetime going to the rose bowl. first time in twenty-five years, i had to put roses on it." a number of former hawkeyes took the stage, including nick bell, who played in iowa's last rose bowl game. after all these years, the is still in awe at the overwhelming support from the fans. " it's phenomenal. i thought i was at a game, at least a basketball game with a 20,000 seat stadium. there's a lot of people here. i didn't expect this at all." but the face that drew the loudest cheer was that of tom arnold. the ottumwa native has been iowa's most vocal supporter in hollywood and is thrilled some fellow hawk fans are in town. " i was in beverly hill earlier today, packed with iowa guys with fleece pullovers that say "iowa" and you see all those fancy khardashian types looking at them like, 'whatever,' but it makes me so proud." arnold says through all the ups and down, the one thing he'll always have is iowa.
