Chuck says, [i] went from a seven to a 10 in less than a year. Chuck and jan credit their doctor for pushing for the psa test. Theres conflicting advice about the screening. Some groups even recommend against it all together. But dr. James webb from unitypoints sunnybrook clinic believes its part of a good approach to overall wellness. Dr. Webb says, ive been practicing for 25 years and rather than do this motions going up and down with my recommendations, i try to have a real level approach to what the truth is for screening, and for me its finding cancers early and treating them appropriately. Dr. Webb recommends psa screening every other year starting at 40 and then annually starting at 50. Chuck and jan believe in it, too, and recommend the screening for family members.
