Huge win last night for the democratic candidate. Its worth pointing out, we went through in our own inhouse estimations about what was important to voters. Im going to read this list for you, neil. You have the most important issues facing virginia, this is according to people in virginia. So you have these here. Healthcare, economy, education and taxes. So you can see out of these four categories, three are about money. Healthcare, this really, we cant underline this enough. Speaking with voters coming out after people that wrote in, this is really what theyre thinking of now. People that are worried about spending, government spending. If you look to the pockets of strength in virginia, the places that turned out the most for the democratic ticket are places not surprisingly where you have high government employment. So if you look to the suburbs of d. C. , going down to norfolk, richmond, those are the places that went dem. Women and White College educated women went democrat. If you look at the platform of what the democrats were pushing in that state, there you have northam. So you have a 15 minimum wage, the Free Community college. We remember that, right . From bernie sanders. Then you have this expansion of medicaid. Underlying this, this seems to be what got voters out. 2. 5 Million People went to vote in virginia. Compare that to other years which has been lower at 2. 3 million. Now, if you go ahead and look at what happened in new jersey. We can make the argument less surprising. The former governor, Chris Christie left office with the lowest Approval Rating of any governor in the state of new jersey. So many people see the democratic win as an anti christie, antigop vote. As long as were following the money, you can see taxes, corruption in government. Thats a wild card. Economy. State budget and healthcare. All financial issues. If we fast forward and show you murphys platform. Thats to say that things that he talked about the most. Raising taxes on the wealthy and a lot of independents gave him credit for this. Hes a very wealthy man himself. So it seems an authentic thing for him to say. Gained him a lot of popularity. State run banks to fund the Community Banks and boosting infrastructure and pension spending. Another form in this pension spending of government participation. So it seems that money in three out of four categories in virginia and four out of five categories in new jersey moved the needle for these two races, which obviously are setting a tone or at least foreshadowing what may come. Neil absolutely. Thanks very much. I know what youre saying right away. You have every right to say it. Theyre two blue states already. Whats the big deal . If you aid in maine, what is going on there with an extended medicaid referendum win, that tackles the polls what the government want to do, you have a consistent them that popped up in this offyear election for more spending, more government which gets republicans worried they have to come up with something fast for a public that might be getting blase on them. The senate and the house arent quite diving on this. Im not talking democrats and republicans. Im talking about republicans in the house with republicans in the senate. To blake burman on whats going on. Blake . Lets focus on the corporate rate decrease that the republicans are talking about. Why know they want this corporate rate down at 20 and to happen immediately. On the senate side, it still is outstanding whether or not this will happen immediately according to their plan or if it will be phased in over time. The Washington Post is reporting that some senators are eyeing a phasein that would begin in 2019. I can tell you that according to one source close to the negotiations that tells fox business that senators are bouncing around that possibility. Senate negotiators are being very tightlipped on all of this. Corporate income tax and the whole process really. For example, a spokesperson for the Senate Finance committee sent us this statement today. It says finance Committee Members are working to make the appropriate decisions that help deliver a comprehensive tax overhaul. The final details will be included in the chairmans mark, which is expected to be released later this week. The house ways and means chair in the house, kevin brady, was asked on fox Business Today whether or not he would accept a phasein of the Corporate Income tax rate. Brady was not committal only to say theres a process. Listen to brady. The senate will differ in some records in their whole bill. Youll see different approaches than where were headed in the house. Thats a healthy thing. This is the way it works. As you saw in that statement there, neil, there is expected to be this senate bill at some point later this week. That might likely have to wait until the house ways and Means Committee finishes with its markup process. One thing after the next. Neil after the next. Then like clock work. Blake, thanks very much. Again, with these cross currents and the day after and a lot of republicans maybe feeling gun shy, youd think the markets would be rattled by this. They were not. Once again, usually the case here, the markets just climb this wall of worry or perceived worry and continue doing that today. Larry glazer, heather zumaraga. Why are the markets poopooing what happened yesterday . They are democratic states. They expected this. In maine, theres a buildup rage about the governor trying to stop the medicaid. So what is driving this or expectations that tax cuts get done . Yeah, its the latter, the expectations that tax cuts get done, neil. The markets are not believing that were really going to phase in corporate rates. I know the senate is rumored to have changes in the tax legislation. The proposal tomorrow. But neil, theres bipartisan support for lowering the corporate rate. So it just doesnt make any sense why we wouldnt just go ahead and make that an immediate take immediate effect. Thats what the markets want to see and thats what theyre betting on. Neil you think about it, year over year a year ago we elected donald trump the president of the United States. The optimism has been based on regulations coming down, more friendly occupant in the white house for Business Needs including lower taxes. So maybe theyre looking at the net gains here. What do you think . That could certainly be the case, neil. The real story here is the immense pressure that republicans are now under, particularly given the democratic wins last night. You know, theyre already pressured to put points on the board. Now its like the super bowl with trying to get this tax reform passed. You think it would be easy. What politician doesnt like handing money back to the voters. But when you gets in the weeds of paying for it, its tough. Neil and thats the issue, how to pay for it. Well have more later on that. But is it your sense that the markets are justified and continue to run up the way they are even if they dont get this right away . Neil no, question. Last night we saw a signal that the voters are getting impatient if we dont get tax reform. Perhaps neil this wont be sweeping. Its not going to be. It cant. And i think thats exactly the concern, neil. The Election Results would have been different had it been swift. But the message coming out of washington has not been a more fiscal fiscally response. Its very different than prior administrations. Reagan would have been all over this issue. Perhaps thats why you have a vote to bigger government in maine, medical expansion. Youre not getting the messaging of fiscal responsibility coming out of washington that you need to be getting right now. Thats why theyre touching the corporate rate. Theyre saying the deficit hawks are saying we need to address the 20 trillion in debt. Thats why theyre looking at the corporate side to phase it in. Its easy. You close some of the interest interest loop holes and deductions and thats one step reeve new neutrality and thats how youre more fiscal responsible. Neil you raise a good point. But you step back and say all of a sudden, every effort you take to make the tax cuts to be paid for is an effort to take them back as far as their umph for the economy. Thats the nature of the beast. Ken, is it your sense from the people youre talking to that what happened yesterday, republicans are less inclined to fiddle over this . We have to get something done . Yeah, got to get something done that is the sense that we get. Republicans are stuck between a rock and a hard place of how youre going to pay for the cuts. I think the time line is important. President trump has said they want to get this done by christmas. To get a present under the tree, might be a christmas miracle for that to happen. I dont think this present will get wrapped by christmas much less have a nice bow on it. Neil looking at how calm the markets were again today. Maybe as expected to your point, larry, do you see this getting done by the end of the year . I think people are hopeful. Certainly the markets are hopeful. For many middle class families, what has been proposed doesnt feel like the tax cuts they were promised but markets are hopeful that Corporate Tax cuts will w bow buoy profits. Neil thank you all very much. Theres a Battle Royale on how Senate Republicans see things versus house republicans. Its the house guys that are worried about what theyre seeing from their senate colleagues. Will this be their reaction when they get it . I know its right [screaming]. Im 65 and healthy. Im not at risk. Even healthy adults 65 and older are at increased risk of pneumococcal pneumonia. Isnt it like a bad cold or flu . Pneumococcal pneumonia is a potentially serious bacterial lung disease. In some cases, part of your lung may fill with mucus, making it hard to breathe. Can i catch it from a pneumococcal vaccination . No. The vaccines do not contain live bacteria. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about how to help protect yourself. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist show of hands. Lets get started. Who wants customizable options chains . Ones that make it fast and easy to analyze and take action . How about some of the lowest options fees . Are you raising your hand . Good then its time for power e trade the platform, price and service that gives you the edge you need. Alright one quick game of rock, paper, scissors. 1, 2, 3, go. E trade. The original place to invest online. Neil all right. 21st century fox earnings are out. The parent of this fine network. The stock moving up in afterhours trading. Up 12. 5 this week. A lot of this was on talks of mergers with disney. Well get into that more. Meantime, the senate is set to release its tax plan as the house is wrapping up its tax bill or marking it up. Theres big differences here between the two measures. Big enough that some say it could complicate the approval process and maybe getting this whole thing done. The house deputy chief joins us right now. Sir, good to have you. Thanks, neil. Neil the early differences are that the senate wants to stagger or delay the Corporate Tax cut. Is that a nonstarter to you . Thats not where we are in the house. Thats not where the president is. So this is a negotiation not just here in the house and the senate but also with the white house and the president has a really important voice in this obviously. We wouldnt be in the game for tax reform if he did not win the election a year ago. So everything is in play at this point obviously. We want a immediate rate reduction and we want permanence. Neil theyre also trying to deal with some provisos in your measure and the house measure that have proven unpopular, like writing off medical expenses and all of that are you open to any of that stuff . Look, anything we do, every decision we make impacts our ability to have broadrate reduction. So weve made the tough choices in the house to dramatically simplify the individual code, the corporate code and the individual passthrough Small Business code. So i think we made the right choices in the house. A lot of give and take to conform with senate rules. So were cramming as much tax relief as we can to middle class families and to businesses as possible and still conform with the senate rules. When you talk about the medical expense question, its utilized by a very small percentage of largely wealthy people. It does not have the broadbase impact on families that we think is necessary for it to meet the desired consequences. Neil so what is your sense of the timetable here to your point, the differences are all ironed out. I believe the goal was to get this done in the house by thanksgiving, to get it done in the senate wrapped up and signed by the president by christmas. Doable . Yes. It has to be doable. We want to have Immediate Tax relief for middle class families. The complaint i hear loudly from my constituents at home and what we saw on elections in virginia yesterday is republicans want results. And they demand outcomes. If we can get the first steps of healthcare reform done, the first fulfillment of the president s pledges on immigration and border security, well be in fine shape a year from now. If people dont get anything done, theyll say what use are you . The consequences of failure are real. That motivates to us get this done in a timely fashion. Neil since a lot of people have criticized the plan, the limitations and the budgetary requirements and the simply majority votes that its already watered down and the senate could water it down more. Are you disappointed . In the senate . Neil that this is not what it was originally billed to be. A lot of people disappointed that the tax cut isnt that big. Originally it was supposed to be revenue neutral and the senate was supposed to have 1. 5 trillion of tax relief. We want to go further than the house. We dont have to conform with the senate rules. Do what we want to do in the house. If we want to get a bill with 51 votes, we have to confirm with their rules. Am i disappointed . Im a member of the house. We wake up every day disappointed with the senate. Its what we do. Its not a partisan issue. Its just the nature of bicameral legislature. My senate colleagues, my senate friends know the consequences of failure. Theyll see it next november and well see it next november in the house if we dont get things done. Well get things done. Neil you should hear what they say about you. Im kidding. Thanks, neil. Neil the news isnt so shocking that the shooter in texas somehow years back escaped from a Mental Health facility. The bigger surprise we discovered is there were Mental Health facilities to begin with. Theyre a dying breed. What happened . Its dangerous that it keeps happening. Well explain after this. Whether its connecting one of the worlds most innovative campuses. Or bringing wifi to 65,000 fans. Businesses count on communication, and communication counts on centurylink. For over 100 yearsaking like kraft has,al cheese you learn a lot about peoples tastes. Honey, what do you want for dinner tonight . Oh whatever youre making. Triple cheddar stuffed sliders. Sold the markets change. At t. Rowe price. Our disciplined approach remains. Global markets may be uncertain. But you can feel confident in our investment experience around the world. Call us or your advisor. T. Rowe price. Invest with confidence. Neil Vice President pence in texas right now. A short time ago, he arrived there. Visiting with victims of the church shooting. He will be attending a Prayer Service with his wife, karen, tonight. Matt finn has the latest on the investigation ongoing next. Neil, a short while ago, the list of victims that were murdered in the church behind me last sunday was revealed. Unfortunately it shows as weve been reporting that some families lost many members. For example, this were six people with the last name holcomb that were killed in the church, including 36yearold crystal Marie Holcomb that was pregnant and a 1yearold noah holcomb. Theres a teresa and Ricardo Rodriguez both in their 60s and childrens ages 5, 7 and 9. So some of these families have had entire branches cut from their family trees. The First Baptist Church Records their services as they did sunday. Deputies say theres video of the massacre. Those that saw it says they show the shooter killed the audio and sound people and systematically shot people. Survivors said he went after anyone making noise, even babies and children. Today Vice President mike pence, his wife an attorney general Jeff Sessions are in texas meeting with families. Secretary of Defense James Mattis is asking the office of the Inspector General to investigate how the air force failed to turn over the records of the shooters that would have make it impossible for the shooter to purchase guns. Mattis is calling for a broader review into how the military handles criminal records. Back to you, neil. Neil thank you very much. So much we still dont know. For example, on devin kelley, the shooter, that he left the Mental Health facility, escaped more the case, back in 2012. Just a number of Mental Health facilities in that time have gone down. Close to 17 . Im leaving out psychiatric hospitals, Mental Health hospitals. That was then. Where are they now . Thats a problem. Karen ruskin, a lot of people dangerous are on the streets. Thanks for taking the time to be here. What happened here . Neil, this is so devastating. What concerns me so much is what is happening with Mental Health facilities. Why are the numbers declining when we need an increase in Mental Health facilities . Not only the numbers declining in terms of the White College educated women went democrat. What concerns me so much is what is happening with Mental Health facilities. Why are the numbers declining when we need an increase in Mental Health facilities . Not only the numbers declining in terms of the Mental Health facilities but once you get a bed, the numbers are so large theres not enough beds for the people trying to get in and the staff is overworked, this is so concerning. And then talk about not documenting . Thats another potential problem. If youre not documenting violence. Even lets say you did document violence, are the other Healthcare Professionals reading it . Does hippa prevent it . All of these factors play a role. What im worried about, doctor, back in the 50s, 60s when state mental hospitals were at their height and they housed better than 500,000 americans, where did all of those patients go . Good question. What has happened to them . So people that were in Mental Health facilities . Where are they now . Are they in their own home . Are they dead . Are they doing things neil im asking, were we keeping up with an audience that size or if we were, right. Neil then we have to ask, now theres no such large options certainly when it comes to Psychiatric Centers the number there used to be. The Mental Health clinics. Might have been where we had devin kelley staying. So fewer of them that now how do we judge who warrants staying at a facility like that and how do we know who is dangerously left out . Remember, were judging based on patient report or on family report. If a family is concerned about a Family Member and they say oh, im worried, let me bring my Family Member in. What if the person is skilled at communicating and is deceptive about how volatile they really are . Or what if they do report that theyre experiencing violent tendencies but right now im not growing to act on that . The moment a patient says im not going to act on that, then immediately the professional says, okay, how can i keep them . Theyre not going to act on that. So the evaluation process neil how do we force that, doctor . How do we force it . Normally if youre deemed to be a threat, not only going to jail but somebody committed you to such a facility, theres fewer if any of these today, then how is it deemed who makes that decision to put youd in such a facility if in this case someone like devin kelley can walk out . Right. You nailed it. There are some people that can commit. Psychiatrists, for example, can commit. Mental Health Professionals can commit somebody. Once you have committed that person neil are you committing because theyre a threat or a danger to themselves or cant cut it on the outside . Danger to themself or others is a variable of why you can say i am committing this person. Their length of time though. Sometimes theres an early discharge, which is concerning. A person is no longer a threat. Presents as though theyre stable. Stable . Stable for a day. Stable for a year. Stable for a few months. What . We have a problem on our hands, neil. We do. Neil all right, doctor. Thanks very much. Thank you. Neil meantime, so much we dont know about devin kelley. This much we do. That he did check himself out or escape, its not clear from what Mental Health facility. So if you argue at our height that we were trying to keep away the mentally disturbs, thats not to say theyre all devin kelleys. If we kept up in with that in our population growth, it would be one million to two municipal. Theres not that number of facilities. Thats a threat. Right now after this shooting, an alarming statistic. More after this. Neil all of you nfl team owners, you want your players to stand in listen to the clippers owner, steve bomber who loves to whip it up. His here. Were back in 60 seconds. You know what, im not buying this. You gotta come a little harder dawg. You gotta figure it out. Eh, i dont know. Shaky on the walk, carriage was off. Randy jackson judging a dog show. I dont know dawg. Surprising. Whats not surprising . How much money lisa saved by switching to geico. Wow performance of the night. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more. But prevagen helps your brain with an ingredient originally discovered. In jellyfish. In clinical trials, prevagen has been shown to improve shortterm memory. Prevagen. The name to remember. Like new savory grilled with mediterranean shrimp, topped with a blend of green onions, tomatoes, and herbs. And your favorites, like garlic shrimp scampi. Nows the only time to try as much as you want, however you want em. So hurry in today. Neil all right. I think this is what they call how they make the sausage. How theyre coming up with a markup now on the house measure on the tax cut things. Of course, its going to be a multitiered process here and a multiweek, multimonth. Hard to say. But many have been looking at this. Maybe its the way theyre going about it or the image frankly that theyre hoisting along here, right . The communications. The same thing that happened with the health legislation. They went to the American People and said we have an alternative. We dont like obamacare but we dont like what youre doing either. Theres a tremendous challenge to communicate and why and show more. Ive worked for a lot of people. I want to show you what is not working right now. An advertisement focusing on Corporate Tax relief. The higher the lines go, the more reaction. Millions of americans drop out of the work force. Takehome pay flat. Americas outdated tax system has produced slow economic growth. We have one of the highest tax rates in the world. American companies are disappearing along with good paying jobs. We need a plan to make america competitive again. Call congress and tell them we cant wait any longer to give American Workers the tax reform they deserve. Neil, thats a good ad. Its not a great ad. It doesnt personalize and humanize what is happening here. Doesnt emphasize the first 50,000 a family makes is not taxed. Thats why it doesnt do well. It brought with me two more ads that do incredibly well. The first one uses the words, language and visual of j. F. K. Himself to sell tax reform. This one works. Lets take a look. Too high today and tax revenues are too low. The soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now. The reason is that only full employment can balance the budget. Tax reduction can pave the way to that employment. The purpose of cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget deficit but to achieve the more prosperous expanding economy that can bring a budget surplus. Who would have thought that j. F. K. Would be the great communicator on tax policy for 2017 . But he is. That ad is one of the most effective. I brought one more with me. This is also working because it individualizes and personalizes the need of hard working americans to get the tax cut they deserve. Roll that one. Look how powerful they scored so well. They took a different approach to tax relief. Its a message for Congressional Republicans that they better step up their communication game. Right now theyre misunderstood, mislabelled and theyre in danger of losing support for this tax reform. Neil to your point, youre a great communicator. Theyre too lost in the weeds and explaining the weeds. Theyre not really stepping back and saying this is what were doing. The j. F. K. Won it was looking at the argument for just increasing revenue that would win over liberals and conservatives. But then when you get mired in this gook, you lose folks. Exactly. Means more takehome pay and higher wages. The language is, it lets you keep more of your hardearned dollars. I dont hear them saying that. A similar example, it simplifies the tax codes and gets rid of the loop holes and the bailouts and handouts. They dont hear them saying it and neither do the American People. Neil fascinating stuff. Good stuff. Ill tell you something, an American Company today broke a record for being the most highly valued company around. It rhymes with snapple. After this. Copd makes it hard to breathe. So to breathe better, i go with anoro. Go your own way copd tries to say, go this way. I say, ill go my own way with anoro. Go your own way oncedaily anoro contains two medicines called bronchodilators, that Work Together to significantly improve lung function all day and all night. Anoro is not for asthma. It contains a type of medicine that increases risk of death in people with asthma. The risk is unknown in copd. Anoro wont replace rescue inhalers for sudden symptoms and should not be used more than once a day. Tell your doctor if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, glaucoma, prostate, bladder, or urinary problems. These may worsen with anoro. Call your doctor if you have worsened breathing, chest pain, mouth or tongue swelling, problems urinating, vision changes, or eye pain while taking anoro. Ask your doctor about anoro. Go your own way get your first prescription free at anoro. Com. Neil this must be a lot of iphones. The highest number ever sold ever. Fbns Lauren Simonetti on what is driving this. Hey, lauren. Yeah, neil, or apples market cap is bigger than 90 in every country in the world, their gdp. Its crazy. So it took apple ten years to get from 100 billion to 900 billion. When do they get to a trillion . All they have to do is about 18 to their share price and theyre there. I spoke to an analyst. He said its this year or next year. Its because of the iphone x. Demand is outstripping comply by two to one. The ceo is betting on it and people are lining to buy the more expensive iphone x, you know, the bigger one. Its unbelievable. Were here at the new york stock exchange. Its a year since election day. Weve been talking about how far the market has come. Tech is certainly the best per forking sector. Look at the best performing dow stocks. Boeing, caterpillar and number 3, neil, apple with a gain of almost 60 since election day. Neil not too shabby. Lauren simonetti. Did you hear that twitter has a 280 character count . I have no idea what that means. Apparently its a huge deal. I know that steve baumer is a big investor in tweeter, this is being come at why social Media Companies are being urged to police their content. He says go slow. I dont say its no responsibility but its very difficult to define what the responsibility is. An average american can go on facebook or twitter and post something to the effect that tomorrow there will be an earthquake in california. Thats fake news. Theres no reason to believe it. Yet being able to distinguish peoples ability to randomly express themselves under the First Amendment or otherwise versus the impact that may come from foreign governments and other sort of nefarious activities is very difficult to do. So there is a responsibility, but these organizations also sort of thrive by letting people say what is on their mind. And i think it will be important for government and media to partner, to define what really is the responsibility and what needs policing. Its clearly not nothing and its clearly going to be a difficult challenge to first define the policy and then build the technology to implement it. Neil do you think enough of this news had an impression on voters so much so that it hit the election last year . Not in my wheel house. Not smart enough. Cant say. Neil i thought i would get it by burying that question deep enough in the interview and youd say that. Let me switch gears to your Los Angeles Clippers on fire, of course. You addressed this issue about athletes that want to kneel or sit out. You said our players have ways to express themselves. They can use the tools at their disposal. Some might be in violation of the nba, some are not in violation of the nba rules. So what are your rules on this . If any of your players sit out the National Anthem . I dont know of any that have. What do you do . We respect the nba rules. The nba rules are what govern in this case. The nba rules are quite clear about players needing to stand for the National Anthem. I support those rules. Yet i think it is a good thing for our players to express themselves and the issues they think are important. Athletes do have a voice that they can use to comment and highlight important social issues. Neil if they did that with you, the nba rules are what they are, they would be in violation of the rules and you would have to i assume punish them . Well, again, theres clear consequences called out. Everybody understands that. The Players Association has agreed to it. So its really let me call it a rationale frame work in which players can decide what to do. If somebody wants to go against the rules, they can. Theres consequences. People respect that. But i do encourage our players to speak out on things that they think are important. Neil finally, the market runup that has been incredible since the election of donald trump. It precedes that, as you know. Mike soft has benefitted obviously. Apple with a value north of 900 billion. Does it ever get nose bleedy for you or do you find that these level multiples are justified . Not talking about the individual issues, but even looking at nasdaq and the technology runup . What do you think . I dont know. Maybe its any natural personality. Yeah, feels nose bleedy to me, neil, it does. I made a comment in about 98 that it felt nose bleedy back then and i got a lot of feedback negatively on that. Sure enough, but 2000 so im beyond the forecasting phase. Things do feel a little nose bleedy, if you will, do me. Neil im going to patent that word. I like the criticism you got for that. What does a billionaire know. Im not bleeding. Neil nose bleedy. You have to pay me to use that term. How in the world did these saudi princes go from celebrating in the streets to now sleeping on the floor . Granted, its the floor at the ritz. But you know what im talking about. Its ok that everybody ignores me when i drive. Its fine, cause i get a safe driving bonus check every six months im accidentfree. And i dont share it with mom. Right, mom . Right. Safe driving bonus checks, only from allstate. Switching to allstate is worth it. Only from allstate. Show of hands. Lets get started. Who wants customizable options chains . Who inspires and pushes us to go further than we could ever go alone. Sofi. Get there sooner. Neil i think the ritz carlton outside saudi arabia has become a jail, the ritziest jail in the planet right now. Take a look at this video. Princes sleeping on the floor there. Rich edson at the state department with the latest on what is going on. Rich . Good evening, neil. Thats what a crackdown or corruption in saudi arabia looks like. The crown prince is next in line to be king of saudi arabia. The 32yearold crown prince is leading an Anti Corruption initiative that has arrested 11 princes, four sitting ministers and dozens of others. With a roster like that, theres a few billionaires in there. Saudi arabia is a longtime ally of the United States. Partners with the u. S. To combat iranian influence in the region. The state Department Says they support any legal crackdown or corruption in saudi arabia. Continue to encourage saudi authorities to pursue the prosecution of people they believe to have been corrupt officials. We expect them to do it in a fair and transparent manner. Supporters of the crown prince is leading a modernization of the saudi state and authority. Saudi arabia is dealing with a lingering blockade of qatar and a war dragging on in the southern border and yemen and growing iranian influence in the region. Neil . Neil so rich, is it your understanding that Prince Mohammed bin salman leading the crack down, hes going after some of his relatives, that they stole this money, misappropriated the money . What . The understanding here a good question. Something the United States has been engaged in, as you heard heather say, do so by presenting evidence. We have no sense that the u. S. Has received the information from them but right now at least in the statements youre hearing from the state department is that theyre trusting in the saudi process unless they give them reason not to believe so. This continues to drag on here. Questions of motivations behind this, youre seeing the consolidation of power behind one person. Neil thank you very much, rich. All right. Tell me if this rings a bell. A former Goldman Sachs executive is a political big wig in new jersey for the second time now in less than a decade, we have another executive who is now helming the state. The last one was john corzine. If this trend is family, it is because it does keep happening. To Fox Business Networks charles payne, the host of making money what he makes of this. Now, this is a guy in the case of governorelect murphy who doesnt have any elected experience, he was an ambassador to germany for barack obama, but another gold man biggie in power what do you think of that . Its alarming, neil. It is. Ill tell you why. The smartest guys in a room think they have all the bases covered, but they have kind of pushed this in some perilous situations on more than one occasion. I worry about it, particularly on a national level. A federal level. I just think theres a major disconnect from these folks in the ivory towers of wall street and helicoptering in from the hamptons. I dont think they have the pulse of the United States. They just dont get the United States. They get spreadsheets and algorithms and that stuff. But when it comes to policy, they look at it from a big view. This big view of crunching numbers and then they come up with a solution. Most people watching this show life a micro life. They need a job today. They need to get Opioid Crisis help today. Neil he says he can do it. He had a receptive audience and a landslide win. But besides phil murphy, phil corzine, Steve Mnuchin and on and on. Steve bannon. What is going on . The conveyor belt. Its the washington d. C. Conveyor belt. The rest of the United States gets shutout. You start out on wall street for washington or end up there. Hasnt done america any favors in my opinion. Do you think the markets can get exposure left and the right, the more i hear protests, Financial Firm interference, we see Financial Firm dominance . Goldman. Youre right. When its all done, wall street will be okay. Neil amazing stuff. Thank you, my friend. Charles payne exploring this issue. Goldman sachs, its the firm that keeps on giving. More after this.
