All of this heat, all of this humidity, thats one reason to stay indoors. Another reason, air quality alert. You get this much humidity, major metropolitan areas, thats when you see smog stretching up and down the east coast, the midwest, indianapolis, chicago. We have all of this hoopla about Chuck Schumer and the drama between him and donald trump. So were going to get a lot of attention about that. To be honest a lot of the hoopla and the attention surrounding the senate portion of the investigation is frustrating. I think oftentimes these Senate Investigations dont really end up in any real results or any clear, you know, resolution. I think we have a special prosecutor appointed. Thats clear. We should let that person investigate this to the full extend. The American People do deserve to know whether or not or to what extent russia was involved in the election and well get clear answers out of the prosecution than this highly politicized senate portion of the investigation. That ban it ensues trying to vet those that get here from dangerous parts of the world. If judges keep ruling against what the president is trying to do, what are we looking at this summer as far as travel is concerned . Lets just say be on guard. I think we can all attest these are very dangerous times and we need every available tool to prevent terrorists from entering the United States and committing acts of blood shed and violence. Were confident in the president s order and is lawful and will be upheld by the Supreme Court. Neil all right. Because for the second time, a court has upheld the decision to ease up on the president s travel ban. Theyre saying that it would not do any real good here. The administration hopes to say in light of this, a better vetting procedure that is the makeup of this travel ban will have the desired ekt. We could their argument has been expedite this fast because time is wasting. Do you agree with that . I think thats exactly right. Its hard to emphasize what a bad decision this is. This decision takes away the president s authority to make Foreign Policy and it extends a legal right to foreign citizens living in Foreign Countries to immigrate to the United States because according to the decision, this violates Statutory Authority prohibiting discrimination based on national origin. So not only is this making us less safe, seriously undermining the authority of the president of the United States. Neil what is interesting about it, they used as part of the Reference Point for overturning this notion that th muslim ban and without looking at the context at the president of the United States issuing this order and this concern and this vetting procedure, which really wasnt much tough or dramatically different for president obama in that it cited danger likely coming from the six that it was originally seven largely muslim nations. What does this mean at the end of the Summer Travel season . Does this mean were vulnerable or well continuousing the same policies and procedures without an aggressive vetting of dangerous characters . Its worth noting this particular court order does not mention the establishment clause or a muslim ban. It sidesteps that issue. Basically secondguesses the president s authority to make Foreign Policy, this is going to make us less safe. Theres no question about that. Will it make us appreciably less safe . Probably not. The only reason is because the threat is so broad from home grown terrorists and from potential terrorists from other nations.
