outside of china until president trump shut it down. we talk about reparation and you sought not just here for racial injustice but right now from china to the world for the virus crimes. china government did in a catastrophic damage they caused. but once the virus was here, the responsibility lay with our leaders and what a complete and utter mess they made of it. right from the start, we told you the truth about this virus, most people have nothing to fear, the right response is to protect the vulnerable, the mass shut down for a massive mistake. president trump, he had the right instincts, right from the start. but the media, medical establishment, the political establishment, they did not have a clue, fueled by misinformation and hype from the trump hating media. just as were seen with the brainless and reckless obsession with case numbers, the doctors took to the airwaves to insist that everything be subordinated to the one single objective of trying to stop anyone being infected, what lunacy this was, inflicted on america, but a media medical complex in love with the sound of its own panic. in the first world war, the brave soldiers said to their deaths by idiot generals who were described as lions led by donkeys. today with the doctors falling in line behind the media deception, it's donkeys led by liars. what on earth were we doing, allowing the doctors to take over the country as the french philosopher and activist put it this week, yes america i'm going to quote a french philosopher because this guy is bang on the money, the doctors are just people, they just don't know, they cannot be invested with authority under their white coats, they are naked and like you and me. people keep saying this is an unprecedented pandemic, it is not true, there seems to be an intention of collective desire to panic. it is not a big as a disaster as we think, there is a unilateral focus, covid, covid, covid. he says we must resist the wind of madness blowing over the world. yes we must. because the cost of the madness, the human cost is now astronomical units born not by the doctors, not by the media fan boys and girls, or the politicians making it up as they go along but mainly by the poorest americans, working americans, black and hispanic americans, the very people that are shut down fanatics saying they speak for but they obviously don't. here is the shut down toll, over 17 million still out of work, at one point it was 40 million. over $41000 per taxpayer and government spending, over 100,000 small businesses shut down for good and the human toll, the medical health catastrophe in the disastrous effects of long-term poverty and life expectancy, what did you all achieve, practically nothing. you saw similar death rates in countries that had no shut down in countries that had even tougher shutdowns. dr. fauci says the virus spread because we only locked down 50% of the country. what? so he wants to see 80 million unemployed, 200,000 small businesses go bust, twice as many medical operations cancel, twice as most domestic violence, twice as much substance abuse, twice as much child abuse, haven't we suffered enough dr. fauci. what is wrong with these people. they have no idea what they're doing. dr. fauci is following an old playbook for a different disease. doctor death and destruction, the cdc robert redfield screwed up test for months with his bureaucratic bungling. vain governors around the country, luxuriated in the limelight of daily press briefings where they ludicrously pretended they could micromanage mother nature with their absurd stages and gating criteria. what hubris, arrogance, what idiots. they told us how carefully they would lift restrictions and rip them off and threw them to the wind when it was a political protest. they favored. they told us it was all about flattening the curve without telling us you end up with the same outcomes regardless. we said from the start, the shutdowns are pointless, the virus will come back the minute you open up, sure enough, around the world, cases are rising everywhere, the lockdowns are being lifted, it was all just an illusion. there was no governor in control of events, those carefully calibrated public health strategies designed by the experts to keep us safer because they never tell a safety is a top priority, they were a joke. ineffective, counterproductive, the worst, new york cuomo sent thousands to the deaths as a deliberate policy choice with his disastrous nursing home order. all in all, this is the biggest public policy disaster in history. and still they press on, demented lee making it worse, now we have the stupid reopening rules, the pseudoscientific protocols and procedures, the pointless temperature checks, the time wasting health questionnaires, the random capacity limits, 25%, 33%, 50%, all of it, nonsense from an out of touch corporate and government bureaucratic elite. sweep it away. all of it. reopen school, reopen the economy everywhere with one exception, as we said all along protect the vulnerable, to do that, get the data on who is vulnerable. precise data on who has actually died, what exactly do we mean when we say underlying conditions. it is a scandal, total national scandal that we still do not have this information from dr. fauci, what has he been doing apart from smuggling and lapping up the admiration of the uncritical media. and after all this, guess who wants to give dr. fauci even more power, joe biden. with typically humiliating and pandering to his media cheerleaders. biden confirms, he will make everything even worse with biden and the democrats they would be even more bogus bureaucracy and shutdown stupidity. and that terrifying prospect gets closer every day because of the baffling complacency of the trump campaign, where is the energy, where are the ideas in the hope for the future, two weeks ago we were promised exciting policy announcements in the next two weeks. we are still waiting. here is this week's campaign memo. you don't win elections with facebook ads or digital strategy or whatever. sure, they can help but you win elections with ideas about the future, what you will do for people, the changes you will bring. we don't see any of that from a trump campaign, they are sleepwalking into a biden presidency in a total calamity and a democrat takeover, house, senate, law, unconstrained power to left-wing agenda ever put before they make a people by major parties. wake up, we need to see a major trump policy announcement or policy speech every week between now and november, nothing else will do. get on with it or the country has sunk on coronavirus and everything else. tell us what do you think at steve hilton x and share this message when we posted. joining me now fox news contributor sara carter and author of the mega doctrine and turning point usa charlie kirk. sarah, i am so, i have tried to put the words down there in a reasonable way i know we get carried away but what is the plan here, we said all along the minute you lift the shutdowns the virus comes back. this is with happening all over the world, they have no answer and they will just keep going with this incredibly destructive shutdown, it is such a disaster, what do we have to do to change things? sara: that is right, steve, the tragedy, the american people i know this from personal experience when you go out and you talk to your friends and meet with people in the street if even have an opportunity to talk, everyone is so confused and the government has done us no justice, nobody knows what the real numbers are, what are the statistics, half of the country is living in complete fear, the other half thinks maybe we can go out and get things done, now they are hearing across the country that pools will be shut down, the gdp is now 32.9% down in the united states, businesses are shuttering, morgan taylor, the oldest store is now filing for bankruptcy in the american people need answers, they need answers from president trump, they need answers from the administration, they need leadership, they need to have those answers which means getting those statistics, how is it even possible that we don't even have the right numbers, to me that is a joke, what have people been doing this whole time. we don't have the right answers from the cdc neither from the world health organization and neither from our own government and especially dr. fauci who wants us to wear goggles everywhere we go on top of our masks and i have no idea why. yeah, i know. steve: will get to the masks in a minute, but charlie, the big point here seems to be, i'm just trying to decipher dr. fauci, in the end to sarah's point, this is a state run thing. the governors are in control of it. it seems to me the plan, if you can call it that, keep a shut down until a vaccine shows up, that is not a plan, they cannot do this, what the ideas. charlie: there is a great quote this is hope is not a strategy, you need to have a specific aim of what success looks like, be clear, brutally honest to the citizens of your state and be able to embrace freedom and trust your citizens to make informed decisions. steve, you talk about the greatest economic collapse probably in history and it's been a economic collapse for normal middle-class people, the ruling class is doing just fine. let's be perfectly honest. i'm here in aspen colorado, they will survive. but it's middle-class people, all the sudden they're being told you cannot go to work, your job is gone, your small business is obliterated, your kid cannot go to school and by the way we might not have an answer for you until after the election. what are middle-class people, how do you process that. it is really easy to get caught up in the economic numbers. but economics are reflection of reality, economics and families, economics our vacation, they are real dreams are being shattered by politicians, there is no consequence when they are wrong, that's what bothers me, what is the cost when they are wrong after the 30th or 40th time, especially when you put all the trust and power in the medical establishment that has no concern about the daily livelihood of the citizens of this country. you said 80 million jobs lost, i guess that doesn't matter, there is no balance. steve: there is no accountability, that's why call it the media medical complex. because they are just going to feed on each other, the media hypes it up and ridiculous focus on case raises to the exclusion of all else. and the doctors come in and say because of this disaster we have to shutdown everything. there is just no sense to it. my big fear because there is really nothing else besides keep everything shutdown, what if there's not a vaccine. that is no guarantee, yes it is looking good but many other cases where the vaccine never arrived, yes the progress looks like it's going quickly but what if there is not one, what is the plan keep a shut down forever? sara: you're right, there has never been a vaccine for the common cold, were talking about coronavirus. so we cannot be shut down forever, the media is hypocrisy, unbelievable, if you look at what's happening the media is not asking the right questions, they're not investigating or holding dr. fauci accountable, they're not holding anyone accountable, they read away from the world health organization and was in the pocket of china the citizens contagious, you will not have any issues with the virus and then all of a sudden told us not to wear masks, then to wear masks, nobody is holding anyone accountable. point taken, without sharpton's plan to have 100,000 people marched in washington, d.c. this august together, gathering, huge gathering and nobody's holding that accountable but they come after everyone else for wanting to open schools. so these are the issues we have to look at. steve: let's talk about the masks specifically, in case anyone is saying this guy ranting about the shutdown has nothing positive to say. we did show after show on this, the beginning of this and we had doctors on and others with aircon creek strategies and on masks. a particular program into the people who should wear the masks, the medical masks that really protect you, not just a cloth face covering of people who are vulnerable. find out who is vulnerable and which underlying conditions, they should wear the masks to protect them and if they were the masks, people will know they should not come close to them, everyone else is not vulnerable can go about their business, that was thrown out the window. let's put up this headline from this week, the dutch government who is the national institute of health, the exact same organization that dr. fauci is part of, the national institute of health in holland has said there's no scientific evidence that masks do any good whatsoever and therefore they are not asking people to wear a mask. so what are we supposed to make of that? charlie: you said it best, were supposed to protect the vulnerable, it's overwhelming what's been happening, we did the opposite we put infected people in nursing homes, we keep the schools closed, that the exact opposite of what we should do, you should not let anyone into the nursing homes, double down your effort for the most vulnerable and keep the schools open. we did the opposite of what would've made sense. i think there is a bigger issue of civil liberties and overreach of government. bill barr said it best, the constitution got suspended in times of crisis. if you have massive statewide mandates we have to do something very specific which i think in some ways is very controversial, there has to be really good reason to do that and you have to be willing to self-correct if new data presents itself. the whole point of being in science is to be anti-dogmatic, just to say that this is working all the time without self-correcting especially with something of a mandate that some would say violates the president on civil liberties, i think is outrageous and spot on to challenge and have a conversation over the entire activist media cohort that there's not going to allow you to have a conversation to sit down and obey, do what you're told and i think that's really unhealthy for society and i'm afraid of where this goes next if were not allowed to have a discussion around these things. steve: that's exactly right. what i'm really afraid of, actually it's going to end up with the biden presidency of democrat takeover, they're going to make it so much worse, the bureaucracy is going to come down the line and it's going to be so horrendous, that's a calamity we have to avoid and we will talk about that a bit later on and i want to hit one of the points, i was noticing today, the media, unbelievably they hype up this panic, i saw cnn anchor today putting to doctor brix, the appointment, people are panicking, yeah, why are they panicking, because of you cnn, that's why there panicking because you been putting out hype and misinformation for months. we've got to go, lots were had coming up. the surprising name rising to the top of the list for joe biden's vppppp (vo) jack was one of six million pets in animal shelters in need of a home. he found it in a boy with special needs, who also needed him. as part of our love promise, subaru and our retailers host adoption events and have donated 28 million dollars to support local animal shelters. we're proud to have helped over 230,000 pets so far... changing the lives of dogs like jack, and the families who adopt them. subaru. more than a car company. robinwithout the commission fees. so, you can start investing today wherever you are - even hanging with your dog. so, what are you waiting for? charlie: i think it is very important to talk about because it will be the most impactful vice presidential selection since 1960 when jfk had a lot of pressure on who he would choose his vice president in the lot of different ways that determine the outcome of the race. we know joe biden does not have the capacity to run a regular presidential campaign ludlum the presidency. there's a lot of eyeballs on this vice president actually been more of a vice president and a coequal candidate in some ways. i think that's why we had to present interprocess this, the copresident role and so susan rice, i guess they want us to talk about the obama administration spying on donald trump if they want that issue to come back she would be i guess they really want us to talk about how she lied repeatedly on cable television when four americans died under barack obama and hillary clinton's watch inman gandhi. and she visited cuba eight times. after the fourth visit to cuba, it's no longer about the weather and cultural immersion, you join the ideas that are being spread when fidel castro passed away she said is a great loss to the people of cuba and she eulogized the communist party leader by the name of neil cannon. the final point i'll make the biden campaign is stuck with tough decisions, they need to excite their base and also when middle america and said they put themselves in a box, the democrat bench is not that deep and i think it will help the president. steve: i cannot believe that susan rice is fiercely being considered. especially to learn with a very well sourced piece that she is really one of the favorites, susan rice, what are they thinking? sara: she was actually believe it or not, four weeks ago somebody asked me who i saw former vice president joe biden would pick and actually believed it would be susan rice. i believe for the campaign, for his campaign the only person they felt that they could pick because like charlie said they did box themselves in so you are absolutely right, we all realized what susan rice has done, she has lied repeatedly, like to the american people, she was involved in the russia hoax, she basically has for herself the connection with the obama administration runs very, very deep. so one of the things that she will do, we know will bring back obama's legacy, connections to ironic the iran deal and everything she worked on the national security level. now that we've got that, now that week we got that in mind, i believe where they're going to go they have also karen bass, what charlie said is so true, i'm half cuban, my mother came from cuba, karen bass has repeatedly clouded fidel castro in 2016, she gave him all of these accolades and now we know senator marco rubio are going after her for this. i don't think she's going to be the pick, i do think it's going to be susan rice and right now what were seen with a lot of students is in colleges and universities in socialism eye, i think the american people are going to buy it and will not go for it and it'll give president trump a road ahead to target vp biden. steve: is really interesting, i cannot quite believe it but it's a very good analysis. the one interesting thing of all the potential candidates at the beginning before it might look like it might be moving in the direction since the george floyd protest of a black woman, i did think elizabeth warren would be the one to do the most good because she gets people excited but they cannot pick her because she's from massachusetts and the republican governor gets to pick a replacement is messes up the whole strategy. susan rice, looks like she's a favor, we will see in a couple of weeks. i still think it can be, harris, who knows, we will be watching it. a truly disgraceful statement from the other california senator diane feinstein who tells us a lot about what we can expect former biden who he will at visionworks, we know there's lots of things you've been avoiding. like people... and pants. but don't avoid taking care of your eyes, because we're here to safely serve you with new procedures that exceed cdc guidelines and value your time. visionworks. see the difference. well now there's score!, from force factor, to rev your libido and maximize physical response. it's no wonder force factor is the #1 fastest-growing men's health brand at walmart. unleash your potential in the bedroom with score!. - sir. - you're talking about a first [runnigeneration americanren] from the streets of the imperial valley who rose to beat the odds. she worked nights and weekends till she earned herself a master's degree. she was running in a marathon when a man behind her collapsed from cardiac arrest. and using her experience saved this man's life. so why do i think there should be more people like carmen bravo in this world? because that man... was me. steve: diane feinstein said about china last week. >> we hold china as a potential trading partner, as a country that has pulled, tens of millions of people out of poverty in a short period of time and as a country growing into a respectable nation. steve: that is not just disgusting in its own right, tells you what to expect if joe china ever gets gives what she said is the establishment democrat view, biden talking about how they're just great folks and no competition, if joe china becomes president we would be right back to the field fifty-year suck up to our most dangerous enemy. charlie, i think the remark is actually helpful because it reminded us this is what they think, this is the establishment, this is what donald trump turned around and as i've said many times, probably the most consequential policy move of his presidency and it would all be reversed if biden gets to the oval office. charlie: i completely agree, we want a choice not an echo. and my goodness do we have a choice on the chinese issue. it is so clarified no that the democrat party led by senator diane feinstein are going to be repeating the talking points the chinese communist party proved while were suffering under the virus in the economic complications and the brutal human cost that came from china and for those of us that have lost friends to the virus, this is outrageous that the united states senator is saying things that could've been said in a governmental meeting in beijing and this is exactly right, one of the most consequential generationally changing programs of the president ordered is a stance on china, senator diane feinstein says we want them to be viable, are you kidding me, they declared an act of brutal force by not engaging in the virus in the entire world is infected, disgusting but clarifying remarks from senator diane feinstein. steve: a respectable nation, what is she talking about, i think it's really important, this should be, there are number of issues that affect any election, this is gonna be the top issues before the vote in november because it directly affected by the choices they make between biden and trump. sara: right. these are the same people that lie to the american people about who is responsible for the china virus and they try to put the blame on president trump, the blame lies solely with china that lied to the world that withheld the information from the world that allowed the virus to spread to the wuhan province and traveling to europe and spread throughout europe and spread throughout the united states and it's a chinese government, moral government that we have to be concerned about, our nation lives on a set of principles and guidelines, liberty, freedom, moral society, we uphold those liberties, china does not, look was happening in hong kong, look at what's happening across the globe, look at china's expansion, the chinese commonest government in the western hemisphere and what they're doing in central america, we have to hold china accountable, president trump is only one that has ever held the chinese communist government accountable. and you know what, you made a great point, you talked about the establishment, that's the establishment, the democrats and some republicans have been used to for decades and that's what president trump wants to stop, that is why the disruptor and the american people voted for him, if president trump can lay that out and say bring back the manufacturing jobs to the united states and what he is doing and he could continue to do that, he will win this election again in november, this is what the american people want and this is what the american people need. steve: biden is really vulnerable on china. we cannot let this discussion pass without noting that she had a spy of the chinese government as the closest personal aid of what a representative to 20 years previous she's revealed the truth in the heart of the choice in november, it should be a huge issue in the president is on the winning side of it, i hope they really understand that in the campaign. the president tweeted something yesterday that surprised a lot of people but it can really help in november. we will discuss after the breree hey, can i... hold on one second... sure. okay... okay! safe drivers save 40%!!! guys! guys! check it out. safe drivers save 40%!!! safe drivers save 40%! safe drivers save 40%!!! that's safe drivers save 40%. it is, that's safe drivers save 40%. - he's right there. - it's him! he's here. he's right here. - hi! - hi. hey! - that's totally him. - it's him! that's totally the guy. safe drivers do save 40%. click or call for a quote today. introducing the new sleep number 360 smart bed... safe drivers do save 40%. now temperature balancing, so you can sleep better together. can it help keep me asleep? you've got this. so you can really promise better sleep? not promise... prove. and now, no interest until january 2023 on all smart beds. only for a limited time. well now there's score!, from force factor, to rev your libido and maximize physical response. it's no wonder force factor is the #1 fastest-growing men's health brand at walmart. unleash your potential in the bedroom with score!. steve: welcome back, look what president trump tweeted yesterday. i actually agree with this, too much income disparity, changes must be made and soon, talking about the fact that since the shutdown started, 40 million market lost their jobs, the wealth of u.s. billionaires went up by $637 billion. the president is absolutely right, income inequality is a big issue, he has the opportunity to address in the next release bill being finalized in congress and something that could help in november. it is interesting, one of the issues where i think he's coming at it from the nonideological prognostic point of view which is what i've often described as conservative populism. pro-business on tax and regulation but pro work on trade and immigration, combining the conservative to focus on business with workers and working americans. you would not see another republican president have that reaction. what do you think you should do about it now? charlie: i want to say it's important that he's talking about it, enough republican talk about a fortune middle-class, the democrats have basically decided politically they want nothing to do with the american middle class and they want to represent the ruling class and the lower middle class i guess you could say that are basically in some ways depend on the government. that is basically the democrat coalition. the president's brilliant market to medica middle americans thatd their lecture done by the ruling class that is able to make billions of dollars in jeff bezos in particular he's saw his network skyrocket because people were at home and shut down, course they would order or things to the postal service in uses service more. what can he do, he has to get very serious about a self-sufficient america, we talked about this before in youth hammering this brilliantly, what is a self-sufficient america look like, we don't have to go to china to make vitamin c, that would be a good start or penicillin were protective equipment that we can actually self-sufficient. the ruling class of this country needs to be challenged on their relationships with china in particular and how they made tens of billions of dollars during the pandemic of a virus that came to china, the president is spot on to represent the middle class in this country. steve: one thing in the video that the president retweeted is a lot of the money that was marked for small businesses, and the ppp paycheck protection program, i cannot remember which relief bill it was, a lot of the money went to big businesses, the lifted companies, not what was intended for, one thing that can be done in the next relief bill, this is what the president wants to do, give the money directly to people, don't go through state government, send the money directly to individuals to workers, small businesses, that's what the president wanted to do the first time around and he said publicly he was topped out, i think he insist on that this time, that can be one thing to make sure that this time unlike the previous economic disaster and benefiting only. sara: that would be a huge win for the president, and while love the middle of america, the middle-class workers who have lost their jobs, i was out today with some friends and my family and the businesses were just languishing, people weren't walking into the businesses, most were closed and others that were open could only let four people in at a time and some of the closing stores, some people told us we don't know how long we can take this before we shut down, this is small business owners in virginia. i think we really need to consider we have friends that could not get the loan the first time around because people were actually getting the bigger companies were getting those loans, the president needs to focus on that is a great idea and if we continue the shutdown the only people that are going to make money are the people like jeff bezos because everybody is going to be ordering from home and nobody will be able to get into a store. steve: such a great point that actually the president can be the champion of the work, wobbly brand biden the democrats of the representatives in the champions of the ruling class and the elites. coming up, or movement to get parents schools tax dollars back, we will have the details next. steve: welcome back we've been talking about the campaign for weeks and with the help of jordan second lot, over 1400 families from 47 states plus d.c. have reached out. the president said he wanted direct payments to parents who schools were not open in the next relief bill, so far it is not in their, they are still planning to hand over billions of dollars to school districts that won't even open their schools. so should the president veto any bill without direct payments to parents in it. what do you think? sara: yes, yes they should. parents in virginia, everybody's been talking about fairfax county, we have friends there, they were asked, do you want the schools to be open, what do you think we should do, the majority wanted the schools to stay open, it did not matter, they will close them down you have to homeschool and parents cannot get to work and parents that will have to restructure their entire lives, children that will be home alone without anyone to teach them, we have a crisis on our hands and we know from the stats, we don't need to go over them again that children are not vulnerable to this disease and this epidemic. if a teacher is or if someone is they should give the choice to teach remotely from the school. parents cannot move forward with their lives, nation cannot move forward if we will not keep all of her children at home. steve: the thing that i was really excited about was a possibility that in this moment, in this federal relief, they could advance the courts of school choice by putting money directly in the parents hands and the options of becoming more and more affordable in different forms of doing it, homeschooling, micro schools, you don't need that much money, a federal school voucher could be transformational for this country. charlie: is essential for the senate and house republicans are run away from this issue may be because there's not a corporation pushing them, who are you representing, this should be the number one issue in a relief bill, you want to represent working families, represent the education of the kids, the safety of the kids and yet republicans refuse to even engage on this 100% winning issue. it is so overwhelmingly popular in moments of crisis you get more of what you already have. the ruling class, their kids will be fine, they will hire teachers and co-ops. the poor kids will not be fine, they will not, you shutdown their schools, you will have more failing communities, higher crime rate, more social isolation and the last point, one of the directors, the cdc director said in a bizarre interview, they slipped in their and more young people committed suicide during the lockdown then died of covid-19. that should be the number one guiding issue we talked about school reopening. we are doing in a moral disservice, republicans on the hill, i don't know what your problem is if you're not fighting for choice in getting behind the president. steve: sara a quick last point, the politics, this is a huge winner, and president trump by insisting in this bill can get thousands of dollars directly to parents to get the education that they want for their kids when it's being denied to them by local leaders, that is a huge winner in the presidential election in november. sara: it is huge, it's what parents want, is what america wants, with the middle-class needs, we need the president to do this, this is such a big winner, there is no setbacks in this, this is our tax dollars and we should be able to meet those choices for children. particular sensors shutdown and i cannot agree more with charl charlie, he is 100% right, the children will suffer the most are the poor children in the people and communities that cannot be there for the children, cannot afford teachers to come in and tutor, please, please, please make this a campaign issue, you when america's heart with his president trump. steve: i'm going to leave it there. coming up a brand-new initiative to come back the loony left and doctor nation over countries universities and colleges. charlie will tell us what that is about after the second chances. but a subaru can.
