Some people have suggested shutting Mount Rushmore down and giving the land back. Other people look at Mount Rushmore and see it as a beautiful tribute to four past president s who despite their flaws made their mark on this country and also a testament to American Ingenuity and hard work, it took 14 years to build Mount Rushmore, its over 2 miles long.
