He assured him that universal background checks are off the table but the president hasnt been talking about that. Hes talking about meaningful background checks. With the president did indicate today that he and the nra both support closing some of these loopholes. He just didnt go into detail as to what loopholes. Yesterday i asked him if he supported either one of the house bills that were voted out of the house earlier this year.
