Behind closed doors, or lawyers are not running any interference. They are allowing her to answer virtually every question. Compare and contrast that with the initial appearance of the former fbi director, james comey, who did not answer questions for a variety of reasons. More than 240 times in the initial session. But he decided that we should live in an era where a former president cant at least have a brief conversation and shake hands with the current attorney general. Rosenstein has denied that. Those close to him saying he was being sarcastic. Really, the question on the hill today is whether rosenstein will have effectively run out the clock and avoided testifying on this very important issue, harris. The New York Times says it obtained hundreds of pages of internal documents from facebook and found that they had special relationships and partnerships and some 150 businesses and companies that allowed them to get around certain privacy rules that other Smaller Companies were required to comply with. It just one example, quoting from the article facebook allowed Microsofts Bing Search Engine to see the names of virtually all facebook users friends without their consent. They gave netflix in spotify view ability to read private messages. According to the report, this allowed both sides of these partnerships to grow user bases and advertising revenue. In an interview with the times, facebooks director of privacy in Public Policy called these high touch relationships and were as recent as this last summer.
