So politically what was the purpose last week and what was the affect last week when ryan came out and said he was not ready to endorse donald trump who is likely to be the partys nominee. Part of it, i think ryan was not willing to endorse. He believes in the issues and not that he doesnt like Donald Trumps haircut, he disagrees on freetrade and entitlement reform and a lot of things about immigration and muslims. There is a legitimate disagreement and shot across the bow to say, yes, you have your own brand, but you are going to be the republican nominee and you have to find a way to represent both. Will the guy who wrote the art of the deal make a deal here . Do you see them coming to terms on what it is to be a republican these days . I dont think it is going to be exact. There will be areas of difference to use one of the cliches. It is a big tent to find ways to agree, and to disagree agreeably, but there is so much more to their benefit to be seen as united rather than divided. It will not help trump running for president or ryan upon and all of his house members running for reelection if there is a divide party. The concern for ryan, whatever supposed agreement you come to with trump, how much can you rely on it . Trump holds that position and if you are ryan and a lot of the members running, you do have to worry about from now to election day you will get asked what about that .
