They wrote quote the American Peoples elected representatives have a duty to publicly debate and report on military action. Meanwhile, a u. S. Ambassador says he has been reaching out to u. S. Allies across europe to let them know the Trump Administration wants to see tensions against the u. S. And iran escalate. But we are seeing the administration impose additional sanctions against iran. They are going to target Iranian Industries including construction, manufacturing, and mining. Sanctions will go against individual iranians. Some lawmakers have questioned whether imposing additional sanctions will actually hurt tensions between the u. S. And iran. They need to install alerts to tell them when the sensors are failing and when the mcat, the software that pushes the nose down. We dont have time to troubleshoot, especially if you are on takeoff and you are a jet aircraft, you need to know instantly what the problem is. I would hope the faa would require oral alerts. It was only the foreign flagged carriers that saw the crashes, why . A lot of people have taken shots at the training and experience level, particularly the copilot in the ethiopian crash only had 400 hours. I think they obviously could have and should have handled it better. But without the automation warning them of the problem, its very understandable that they got caught. As you know, if they dont react quick enough, they cannot revert and use the manual firm wheels. Thats what the Simulator Training is about. They want the pilots to realize you cannot revert to manual trim if you allow the aircraft to accelerate its too hard to adjust. Jon lets turn our attention to the airplane shootdown in iran. So i can understand that these missile control crews that are usually three or four people in these units, not knowing what that was, thinking it might have been a Cruise Missile heading for this revolutionary guard sensitive site. But there were three republicans who voted for it including matt gaetz of florida who has always been one of the president s most staunch supporters in the house. Representative gaetz said though he does support President Trump ask, that he still thinks its is prudent for congress to be consulted. But this was a pretty symbolic resolution. It doesnt have much power behind it. President trump doesnt have to follow it and there is nothing that says he has to, even though Speaker Pelosi has tried to maintain that it has real teeth to it.
