>> when you look at the highlights you had on-screen you could tell the first two items are going to be nonstarters with the democrats. this budget has a chance in congress, the answer is it is dead on arrival, there is no way there is going to be compromise to what is there. what is going to happen is there will be temporary spending measures put into place between now and through the end of the election cycle and we will see how it falls as far as who is the president and what the make up of congress is going to be because unless the party of the white house, the same party and it is in congress, very little chance that you will have compromise. we have seen in the past both sides will spend more and more and more and that will be the compromise. rob: no one wants to fight hard on this stuff. and the trump budget makes it clear, financial security and hard-working families. cuts to things like medicaid, food stamps and traditional things and what about the values on the left? hampshire? >> six months ago there were signs for bernie sanders and elizabeth warren but the political landscape is different. in the last month especially the last week buttigieg signs have been popping up on every street corner so i select a lot of voters are starting to realize bernie sanders or warren nominee may not have the best shot at beating trump in a general election and joe biden has become an embarrassing gaffe machine at this point, bernie will pull out a win in new hampshire. he has such great name recognition being from vermont but buttigieg is experiencing a surge after iowa. rob: teeny tiny pixel, new hampshire. >> sounds great. >> this is not a bellwether, this is fun to watch. bloomberg is not in this thing. what does it spell out from michael bloomberg? is it more popular than people think? >> he could be. new hampshire is a practical state that gravitates towards moderates. seems like democrats are looking for someone who has the best shot at beating donald trump. >> reporter: any enthusiasm for amy klobuchar? >> there is. she is more of a moderate candidate. it makes a little different from iowa, the independent voters, 42% of new hampshire voters registered independents and keep in mind the primarys are not closed primaries, they will see democrats and independents casting their vote, a very libertarian state, we have the streak running throughout the state, there are pockets of strong liberalism but generally it is a very rural, young americans for liberty knocked on thousands of doors in new hampshire. the message we get from voters are pretty concerned, they don't want government run healthcare. >> when you look at this at the convention, two parties in one trying to get power, the bernie sanders elizabeth warren sign and everybody else. the chances of a brokered convention, do you see that happening in july? >> it is a possibility moving out of iowa. the field is narrowed down a little bit. front runners are identified but at this point, talk to your candidates, they show no sign they are pulling out of this race. and youtube, between bloomberg's millions of dollars, the iowa disaster, biden's support with african-american voters and bernie have strong base of progressives a brokered convention is a possibility. i have seen forecast models that there's a 24% of this happening. great news for trump, a brokered convention because any candidates who lose after a convention process would be more upset and angry and their bases could become demobilized. jillian: thank you for joining us. rob: 36 surfaces. >> the phony atlantic resume for one of lori laughlin's.it was released by prosecutors, no name attached to that resume but the graduation date aligned with olivia jade. and award-winning athlete, you see some of the details they are, most notably she won gold medals in 2014-2016 but we know that isn't true. every time a story like this now that we have a resume there, one person pointing out something i thought about as well. you have been in fourteenth place and getting into the team, kind of had to make it a little bit believable. lastly, right here, the real tragedy is the going around to various governors and the economy is strong in each state, unemployment numbers are down and we are looking at other ways to bring people into the workforce from more effective reentry programs and job opportunities for those previously incarcerated and job training programs to dealing with mental health issues and really impressed me with his precedent, how he had a heart of compassion for those in need like that wanting us to focus on that. a great discussion, very optimistic and bipartisan. rob: the economy big driver her voters, healthcare another one, you asked about that. listen to this. >> you have 180 million people with great health insurance and we are going to save it and i can speak for democrats too. we are all going to have preexisting conditions. we are always going to make sure that is taken care of. the preexisting condition situation. rob: democrats love to point out the president is fighting in court along with conservative states to get of obamacare completely. fighting to remove protections for preexisting conditions. that is a big talking point on the left. how do you respond to that? >> the president made it clear we would have to have a replacement for obamacare if and when the court strikes it down. it has been weakened on three legs of the obamacare legislation and fully struck down, we have to have a replacement and he has made it clear that replacement will protect preexisting conditions and so that is a political ploy on the other side. i asked the question about giving states more flexibility and i love this president because he recognizes the role of the states, the partnership and how he wants to give states more flexibility in managing healthcare that preserves the individual insurance people value in our country. >> we talk about healthcare, the economy and something a lot of people want to vote for donald trump in the next few months because they like where they are headed, they like the paychecks, the money they have in their pockets. how do you see this changing of the democrat is in office, if a democrat is elected? >> in terms of healthcare you have a host of ideas on the left that around healthcare program that is socialist in nature and deprives individuals of choice, states of flexibility and so it is a stark contrast. this is going to be a major issue in the presidential campaign. it is going to be a major issue as we look into next year and i hope the american people understand the differences. as a governor we want more flexibility to manage the dollars because it is a pensive item for the state. it could hurt the state's budget very quickly. we want more flexibility managing it. others say the states are going to cut services. that is not the objective. we believe states can manage a program like this more effectively than 1-size-fits-all in washington dc. >> questions about will happen today in new hampshire and more broadly for the nomination? >> i'm not going to predict what happens in terms of new hampshire on the left side but it is impressive with the president going into new hampshire holding such a rally. he is campaigning in the heart of the democratic primaries and i think he will do well in new hampshire. jillian: thank you for joining us. 8 minutes until the top of the hour. republicans standing up against what
