steve: he did, indeed. the orlando center in orlando. 125,000 people asked for it. ed: a lot of people outside that arena as well. steve: a lot of those people talked to todd piro who actually this morning on this wednesday morning is live with voters at dixie bell cafe in orlando. good morning to you, todd. todd: good morning, steve, ainsley, and ed. you thought they were excited last night. are we excited this morning? [cheers and applause] you better believe it. we have three jampacked hours coming up on "fox & friends." we are going to talk to as many of these fine folks as possible. when asked about the rally last night. were they there? did they wait in line. what do they think about the polls? do they think the polls are right? we're going to see. back to you. ed: interesting on that point. quinnipiac had a saying joe biden is down. that same poll had andrew gillum winning the governorship by 7 points. steve: how did that work out? ed: he didn't win. ron desantis won. he was at the rally last night. ainsley: everything wrapped up with the mueller report. steve: brad par school the campaign guy said yesterday on cbs and we'll talk more about it. the polls are outdated now because they have so many new ways to turn people out and ultimately that's what last night's 78-minute speech was all about to get the people out. mike pence the vice president just before the president and first lady said it's round 2, the 503 day campaign for america's future started last night. and here's the president. >> i stand before you to officially launch my campaign for a second term as president of the united states. [cheers and applause] i can promise you that i will never ever let you down. i won't. [cheers] we accomplished more than any other president has in the first two and a half years of a presidency. because we did in the middle of the great and illegal witch-hunt things that nobody have been able to liberal, not even close. [cheers and applause] since my inauguration, we have added 16,000 manufacturing jobs a month. remember the statement from the previous administration? you need a magic wand to bring back manufacturing. well, we'll tell sleepy joe that we found the magic wand. more than 120 democrats in congress have also signed up to support crazy bernie sanders socialist government takeover of healthcare. [boos] he seems thought to be doing too well lately. america will never be a socialist country. [cheers and applause] ever. [chanting u.s.a.] we have to come up with a theme for the new campaign, right? but, you know there is a new one that really works and that's called keep america great. right? keep america great. [cheers] >> we are going to keep on fighting and we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning. [cheers and applause] >> at one point took informal poll should it be make america great again there was a big roar. and then he said or what about keep america great and the place went nuts. that is officially the slogan. ainsley: watch his rally always a few lines you can pull away from that resonate with the folks who are there and folks watching. one line last night about hillary clinton that's really been played a lot. steve: it was electrifying. ed: he invehicle invoked the elc chair. if i did what hillary did i would get the electric chair. steve: here he is. >> if you want to know how the system is rigged, just compare how they came after us for three years with everything they have versus the free pass they gave to hillary and her aides after they set up an illegal server, destroyed evidence, deleted and acid washed 33,000 emails, exposed the classified information. [boos] but can you imagine if i got a subpoena, think of, this if i got a subpoena for emails, if i deleted one email like a love note to melania,. [laughter] it's the electric chair for trump. [laughter] ainsley: and they liked that. steve: the president talked about the unamerican conduct of those who want to undermine our great democracy and undermine you. so, in other words, he was saying hey, look, they are not just coming after me. they are trying to invalidate the results of the 2016 election. they are coming after the guy that you voted for. they are coming after you. ed: look, go back to 2016. he tried to make the race not about him. but about the people. the forgotten man, the forgotten woman. so last night was all about look, i have kept not all, but a lot of the the promises and i'm trying to finish the job on the wall and other matters as well. ainsley: there is melania. she was the one that actually introduced him last night. there were so many people there todd piro was outside waiting for the crowd to come out. he got to talk to some of them to find out what they thought about last night's rally. listen. >> it was an absolute amazing turnout. >> it was aspiring it? >> was awesome. >> we believe him in 2016 and we are going to vote for him definitely in 2020. >> he touched on a lot of things that people are wanting to know about. >> this man loves our country, he loves god and he is with the american people. >> good to see a president take an position on securing the border. >> i have never been to a political rally. i was going to cry. it was awesome. >> thank you, trump, for what you do for our veterans. >> once in a lifetime experience and nothing i will never forget. >> the kids couldn't sleep last night. they said it's way bigger than disney. >> land slide? 2020 than it was in 2016. steve: that's what brad parscale is suggesting as well. in addition tout things we play you had. the president is vowing to push america into new medical frontier. find a cure for cancer. eradicate aids. land astronauts on mars. fix fractur infrastructure drug prices. ed: that's a lot. steve: again, he said four more years. ainsley: government must care for its own citizens first. steve: let's talk about the reaction, we heard. so folks leaving the amway center last night. democrats of all stripes were watching the president's appearance including bernie sanders and kamala harris. they would like to have the keys for air force one in january of 2021. here's their reaction to the rally in orlando. >> listening to trump made me feel very much that he is a man living in a parallel universe. a man way out of touch with the needs of ordinary people and a man who must be defeated. >> this president wants us to keep looking in the rear view mirror instead of looking out of the front windshield. this is a president who wants to make america great again instead of making america great today. he does not understand that we need a leader of our united states who is focused on the challenges of the 21st century. steve: so there you have a couple of democrats. meanwhile according to the polls the frontrunner is joe biden. what did he think? ainsley: this is what he said let's be clear president trump inherited a growing economy from the obama-biden administration. and now he is in the process of squandering it. ed: the economy is in strong shape. ainsley: is he taking credit for it. ed: that's backwards, the president is trying to take the economy forward in the days. ainsley: bernie sanders didn't waste any time. he did that livestreamingna. video was livestreaming on social media last night. steve: meanwhile, take a listen to this. here is brad parscale. we were referring to this a little bit ago. where he was asked on cbs yesterday about the polling data came out. he pointed out that look, it was three months old. it was old news. nonetheless, it was not good for the president. meanwhile he says you just can't trust the polls anymore. why? watch. >> i just think the country is too complex now to call a couple hundred people and ask them what they think. so many ways and people going to show up. the way turnout works and abilities that we have to turnout voters. the polling can't understand that. that's why it was so wrong in 2016. it was 100 percent wrong. nobody got it right. and not one public poll. the reason why is it's not 1962 anymore. i think we win an electoral land slide as of today. ed: that's his view and we shall see. it's interesting joe biden was out there saying i'm going to flip texas. i will flip georgia. all kinds of states the republicans have won for years and years and made me think back to hillary clinton last night who thought she could flip arizona went there in the final days instead of places like wisconsin and michigan. it back fired. ainsley: remember that night election when everyone said the president needed 270 electoral votes and he got 306 defying what the polsters said then. steve: i think of the nationwide polls the closest one that got it was the usc and it wasn't really a poll. they had a focus group of 3,000 penal that kept talking about they came the closest. nonetheless, the historic big public poll, according to mr. parscale got it wrong. ainsley: brad is so smart. he was in charge of the data during the 2016 election. steve: the turnout. he was charge of trying to get people out. ainsley: now he is the campaign manager. ed: send us a note at friends@foxnews.com. ainsley: let us know what you thought about the rally last night. jillian has headlines. good morning. jillian: good morning. we are following a number of stories. let's begin with this. the son of an alleged mobster is behind bars accuse of plotting to kill his father and brother. anthony is charged in the deadly shuting of sylvester who was gunned down mcdonald's drive-thru in new york city last october. text messages show anthony using code words to pay a gang member $200,000 to carry out attacks on his family. a motive is still unknown. nine other people also face charges that could put them behind bars for life. the families of five american soldiers killed in iraq are angry after a terrorist is sentenced to just 26 years for his role in their murders. according to court documents the canadian man gave money and words of encouragement to a group you have terrorists behind a truck bombing outside a u.s. military bales in mosul in 2009. one. soldier's mother says quote i get the life sentence while he gets just 26 years. agreeing on border aid. chairman richard shelby and patrick leahy striking a deal to provide more than $4.5 billion in supplemental border and humanitarian aid funding. right now it's unclear exactly what that includes. the senate appropriations committee will discuss the bill today. and take a look at this. a massive great white shark steals the bait right off the fisherman's hook. watch this real life jaw's moment and it's all caught on camera.
