The whole process is not very long and can be done in a couple weeks. But theres simply no legal basis or in my opinion even rational for him not showing up. Well, and this just feeds into the narrative and to why this Oversight Committee is even having these hearings. The critics would say look, we have already made our decision. She has not been charged for this. So why are we still questioning the folks. Because the evidence said mrs. Clintons failure to safeguard state secrets that were given to her in her job
responsibility as secretary of state is overwhelming. Theres evidence that she lied about this under oath is overwhelming. wants to change. But when you have a new candidate who has never run for office, it takes time for the electorate to be convinced over time that this big change is something that they are comfortable with, and donald trump has had an incredible four weeks. Hes been on message. He has been disciplined. Hes talking about serious policies at every single stop, whether its a rally or a school or church. People are getting comfortable and just like in 1980 when the electorate wanted to change, it took time for the electorate to get comfortable. The other thing is look at the polls, hes over 45, 46, 47 , something that all the supposed experts said would never happen. Well, its happening. It is. Weve talked to you at times, maybe the candidacy looked hopeless. A lot of republicans were not on board. You kept saying stay the ship. It turns out youre right. Paul manafort was trying to get donald trump to read off the prompter and not adlib off the stage and he was unsuccessful. Why has kelly ann can conway successful where paul wasnt. I think the sustained discipline when you bring in someone new and that person is also disciplined and really a polling and messaging expert and someone that he really listens to and respects, i think that tus just seeing the effects of the discipline that shes been able to bring to the table and to the team, and then the results of that discipline is being seen in the polling. We all know donald trump likes the polls, at least he listens to the polling. He reviews them. We all know that. Now the polls are affirming something that the team is saying is important to the campaign. Its also, i think, Donald Trumps comfortable with it. One thing to keep in mind this is because donald trump wants to be a policy driven and giving these speeches. Not because someone is pounding away in his ear. That doesnt work that way with donald trump. Hes doing it on his own. Hes doing an Economic Policy speech later on today. Of course, later on today, im sure you are going to be tubeside to watch dr. I mean, my guess is that if that didnt happen, you probably you and i wouldnt be talking had something occur that i think gave people a lot of pause and concern, both for her and her candidacy, and there are things leading up to that episode on sunday, and people are worried about not just her health, but just whats going on, and the problem that she has, of course, its sort of compounded by the fact that the campaign couldnt be honest about it, so the folks that have already been concerned about whether she was healthy or not are sort of not quite sure what to believe because they lied about the initial incident as to what happened in new york, so look, its a little bit of a mess for their campaign. we hope goes away, but the problem shes got is more of an honesty and trust issue that people dont want to buy and you are seeing it in the polling. Bill clinton said it was the flu.
