to fail. griff: good morning. welcome back, jed. so good to have you back. jedediah: thank you so much. thank you both. good to see you both again. i have been watching from home. it's good to see you here. pete: it's good to have you here. jedediah: and a big news day. pete: big news day in honor of you. i know you are a surfer this is my flip flop edition of "fox & friends." we can go if we need. to say. griff: see what's happened i have grown a billie ray sig cyr. jedediah: i have got the flat shoes on and leggings. we are all a team here and all on the same page today. pete: secrets of television. griff, i have got to ask you are there at the swamp. i will mention it every day. and we love you for that will you talk about the biggest bill of all time? that's a label you don't expect to hear often really or at all. here we are massive 3 trillion-dollar bill passing the house. griff griff a reporter's job is to offer some scrutiny. let me do so now. it's not only just the largest bill. this was a bill that was constructed in complete secrecy by nancy pelosi it is literally san francisco values at its best. this has zero chance and at a time when you have cars lined up for food banks. look at what we are putting up here. that top one, $1,200 checks to certain undocumented immigrants. let's explain exactly what she did. it's one of the many things she knew she never has a chance of getting passed. she changed the requirement to receive a critically needed check for struggling americans, many of them unemployed, unsure what they are going to do. change the requirement from needing a social security number which shows you are an american to a taxpayer identification number, which is how undocumented immigrants have paid taxes. it's just one of the many things. it barely passed. but it is something i think that will be remembered in november on election day because she has proven that she is willing to absolutely waste americans times at a time when we absolutely can't afford to lose things like the ability to provide. pete: yeah, i mean, griff. jedediah: you have many moderate democrats around the country who are going to look at this and say we can't sign on to that we need to go back to our districts and we need to somehow defend. this on that note, look at these defectors. these democrat defectors on the 3 trillion-dollar relief bill and what they had to say. joe cunningham from north carolina this is washington politics at its worst. represent forgive abigail spanberger an opportunity to make political statements. and representative kendra horn from oak l oklahoma not the timr partisan gamesmanship. ben mcadams this isn't a plan. it's a wish list. you put something out there and say this is in the name of coronavirus relief and then you stuff it with all of this stuff that even people in your party who are of same minds, who are moderate and who are looking out for people but also don't want to sign on to left wing policies cannot support. she should be held accountable for doing that. pete: those weren't quotes from jim jordan, were they? no, those were all democrats pointing out the bill that their speaker pushed. and, griff, you put the facts up there not just undocumented or illegal immigrants. it's 20 million for arts and humanities foundation? how about 3.6 billion for mail in voting. never miss a crisis. bailing out the post offices, colleges and universities. the bail out people want. we are seeing it and going to cover it all morning long. people want to get back to work. they want their personal responsibility to be respected astins to go out and make their own risk calculations. yet, nancy pelosi, we know this is dead on arrival in the senate. the president and others have said of that. this is a messaging bill to say hey, we are willing to spend as much as we need at this moment even if it's not connected to reality. guy, this isn't going anywhere. but it did pass. only 20 democrats by the way present. only 20 dems in d.c. were able to pass this bill with a quorum. griff: one republican in new york peter king voted for it because of new york's budget short fall. look, this was a gross, blatant, political statement that nancy pelosi sent. and steve scalise, the house minority whip, says it's going to be consequences for her. listen to this. >> imagine being a democrat who goes back home in a swing district. you just voted to give your voting card in congress to nancy pelosi. and she doesn't represent the values of a lot of those districts. you know, you now signed on for san francisco values. so this is going to be a tough vote for those people to explain. it's unconstitutional first of all a quorum under just this resolution they just passed 20 people on the floor. 20 democrats can corn substitute a quorum of the house of representatives. 435 people. pete: yeah, and also. go ahead, jed. jedediah: sorry. the price tag. and i know we are at a time in our society where we are so used to seeing government overspend and misuse money. but $3 trillion is a lot of money. so the fact that she stuffed this thing and tried to label it, you know, talking about coronavirus, you want to pull on the heart strings of people who do care seriously about the impact of this virus on people and do want to help communities. but you stuffed it with all this stuff and stuck a $3 trillion price tag on it and expect no one to care. also, did you have time to even read it. i really wonder about these things they put out in washington sometimes. they don't read the stuff and expect people to say okay, $3 trillion for all this stuff? here you go, don't worry about it. that defies logic and common sense. pete: 1900 pages. there is no chance they read it at all. so, you know, $3 trillion was effectively the size of our federal budget just a couple years ago. i know we surpassed it now. representative crenshaw, you know, he is on capitol hill. he is doing his job. a lot of people aren't there he went around the capital. he found the minority leader mccarthy asking about how much does this cost? where do we find the money? here he was on capitol hill. >> us voting on a $3 trillion plus bill today, you would think we just have that money lying around. but do we? all right. let's ask kevin mccarthy if he knows where it is at. kevin, do you know where i can find $3 trillion? >> check the crypt. it might be there. >> the crypt. the crypt is a lot less scary than it sounds. and there is no $3 trillion. i wonder if she knows where it is. no, she doesn't know where it is. actually, i don't know why i didn't think of this before. let's just check the atm. no, yeah. of course. even the atm doesn't work. griff: i actually love that. that he did that. because you are walking through the halls of congress which i have done so for many years. and a moment like that, have you got to find some humor in it because you pointed out, yesterday, 3 trillion is equal to what we have spent already. remember, we spent those 3 trillion knowing the consequences in the bill that would come due for younger generations. my niece graduated yesterday from villanova. she's going to carry this burden. jedediah: congratulations. riff from griff thank you. congratulations indeed, marilyn. but she is going to grow up and become an adult at our age, she is going to have to be paying for this. we will look back and see what our leaders did at this moment of crisis, perhaps pivotal moment of their entire careers that's a result. a bill now that has no chance of passing that equals what we have already sent? it's really for those sober adults in washington look at this and just laugh it off. and for crenshaw to make a humorous video i think really tells it all. jedediah: i'm curious though. i'm very attuned to like i loathe overspending but sometimes i feel like are americans losing sight of that and are these just numbers? so big are we sort of removed from them. email us foxnews.com. when you see a $3 trillion bill, does that number bother you still? do you sit and say wait, hold on a second, that's ultimately money that's coming from the people that is being used for a whole bunch of stuff, that's being advertised as for something else, does this bother you? i'm curious to know, americans, do you care about this? pete: fundamentally unserious. they know it can't pass. i'm reminded of a thomas jefferson quote. when you think about our whole moment right now, and we are seeing beaches are going to be reopened in new york and new jersey, as if they could close them if they wanted to. when the people fear the government, there is tyranny. when the government fears the people, there is liberty. and ultimately the people are starting to speak out and say we want to make decisions for ourself. we will see if washington is listening. speaking of washington or at least a basement somewhere near washington for joe biden, he is continuing to dodge and distance himself from the flynn fallout. he doesn't know effectively what to say about it because he is implicated. he is part of it in the unmasking as we have learned about. a lot of the obama administration is saying it's very routine town mask. well, we have videotape and it comes from about 15 years ago. then senator biden was very concerned about unmasking as it pertained to john bolton. u.n. ambassador then. we saw samantha power under obama doing unmasking. joe biden then very, very concerned. watch this. >> i'm even more concerned about the failure of the committee to receive information relating to mr. bolton's request for nsa information. and to identify u.s. persons that he wanted to know in those intercepts. >> it has been alleged as i said, that mr. bolton has been spying on rivals within the bureaucracy both inferior and superior to him. while i doubt this as i said publicly before, we have a duty to be sure that he did not misuse this data. pete: it's not clear he remembers any of this, but the double standard is very clear. jedediah: or anything sometimes. yeah, of course. and we need answers to these questions, right? because this idea always routine. no, this is something unmasking is supposed to be done exclusively for national security reasons. so i want to know biden was one of the people who asked for this to be unmasked, what was his national security reason? and he would going to talk to a lot of people throughout the show today talking about those forms and whether we can get access to those forms and what the motivation was. this is not something cement to be double purposes. biden saying it's okay for me but not for thee. the sense of outrage for other people and then when it comes to you you have a different set of standards, that's not going to go very well for him when he is running for president right now. griff: i love that age old line too it has been alleged although i don't believe it. what's important is he was talking about john bolton coming into the bush administration to be the u.n. ambassador. it would very much be necessary to unmask as much information as he can whereas what you are talking about, jed, is the timing of those requests made to unplastic flynn coming at a time when it should have been a peaceful transition of power. pete: for biden it's been alleged but i don't believe it. jedediah: the timing, griff, and also the motivation because that's not something that should be done lightly and if it is happening routinely without national security reasons, then that's a problem, too. this will be one case of many then that we'll have to address as to why this is going on. pete: keep covering it all morning but for enough to we have a few additional headlines starting with a fox news exclusive. the white house set to restore partial funding to the world health organization. it comes a month after president trump said funding would be suspended while the u.s. investigated the w.h.o.'s pandemic response. fox news obtaining a draft letter to w.h.o.'s director general saying the trump administration has agreed to pay the same amount as china, which is much smaller. it would be about 10% of what the u.s. usually contributes to the organization. j.c. penney filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy. closing some of its 850 stores across the u.s. in the coming weeks. biggest reterrorism to file for bankruptcy since the pandemic started joining nominee must marcus j crew and stage. never heard of stage. $1 billion in debt. the chain is considering options to reduce its debt including selling the company. and nascar driver brad celebrating first pole win of the seasonal when the cup season resumes in south carolina. nascar's first race since suspending its season in march. watch it only on fox. meanwhile nascar is poking fun at some of its drivers series of photos exaggerating what some of them might look like going months without a hair cut in quarantine kind of like griff. richard childress will join us later in the show as well as darryl waltrip later this morning. those are your headlines. griff, we don't need to photo shop for you, it's already happening. griff: as long as you grow an aerodynamic mullett it's okay on the track. i'm looking forward to that. pete: aerodynamic in the front and drafty in the back. griff: exactly. nice. unmasking the mask. why spying on shut be the real focus. right now is a time for action. that's why usaa is giving payment relief options to eligible members so they can pay for things like groceries before they worry about their insurance or credit card bills. discover all the ways we're helping members today. i'm a talking dog. the other issue. oh... i'm scratching like crazy. you've got some allergic itch with skin inflammation. apoquel can work on that itch in as little as 4 hours, whether it's a new or chronic problem. and apoquel's treated over 7 million dogs. nice. and... the talking dog thing? is it bothering you? no... itching like a dog is bothering me. until dogs can speak for themselves, you have to. when allergic itch is a problem, ask for apoquel. apoquel is for the control of itch associated with allergic dermatitis and the control of atopic dermatitis in dogs. do not use apoquel in dogs less than 12 months old or those with serious infections. apoquel may increase the chance of developing serious infections and may cause existing parasitic skin infestations or pre-existing cancers to worsen. do not use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. most common side effects are vomiting and diarrhea. feeling better? i'm speechless. thanks for the apoquel. awww. that's what friends are for. ask your veterinarian for apoquel. next to you, apoquel is a dog's best friend. many of life's moments in thare being put on hold. are staying at home, at carvana, we understand that, for some, getting a car just can't wait. to help, we're giving our customers up to 90 days to make their first payment. shop online from the comfort of your couch, and get your car with touchless delivery to keep you safe. and for even greater peace of mind, all carvana cars come with a seven-day return policy. so, if you need to keep moving, we're here for you. at carvana-- the safer way to buy a car. it's my own thing that i can do for me. since i don't have time to read, i mean i might as well listen. if i want to catch up on the news, or history, or learn what's going on in the world, i can download a book and listen to it. i listen to spanish lessons sometimes to and from work. yea, it makes me want to be better. audible reintroduced this whole world to me. it changes your perspective. it makes you a different person. see what listening to audible can do for you. griff: welcome back. the obama administration under scrutiny after the fallout of the michael flynn. the scale to which obama team spied on successor should be focus of unmasking. author of the plot against the president lee smith. lee, good morning to you. you have a very important op-ed because you are focusing on what we have learned in this unmasking. you are focusing on key dates and key timing. explain. >> yeah. i mean, if you look at the numbers. if you look at the shear volume of unmaskings of general flynn in a less than two-month period and the transition period, what this shows is, it shows an extensive, a massive spying campaign targeting general flynn. there are a number of reasons for -- they are actually spying and they want to know what the transition team is saying to different officials about how they are going to handle policies, sensitive to the obama team. that's one thing. they are very concerned about certain obama foreign policy initiatives. and general flynn is the incoming national security advisor. this is his portfolio. he is speaking with people about these different things. none of this has to do with russia. as congressman devin nunes said three years ago in march 2017 when he announced that he first saw evidence of this unmasking campaign, extensive. he says it has nothing to do with russia. what we see now is russia was used as a pretext for three years to cover up what was a massive spying operation against the transition team and presidency. griff: let me go right to the time of this. because we have now learned 39 people unmasked as requested to unmask for 49 requests. but, key dates, january 5th, the day of the white house oval office, dennis mcdon mcdonough requests unmasking. will that coincides with the david egg initials "the washington post" which leaks it which is a crime. do you believe that on this list of the unmaskers is someone who has committed a felony? >> i think it's likely if you look at all the dates down there, that's the issue we have to remember this is something congressman nunes has spoken about. there is a crime at the center of this and that is the leak to the "the washington post." one of the very important thing this is about the white house. this is not about the fbi and doj. very important. the fisa abuse scandal as horrible as that is targeting an american citizen it's really bad. this is the white house. griff: we have to lee it there, lee smith. thank you for joining us. >> thank you. griff: as retail sales plunge how long before lockdown completely destroy brick and mortar stores. annual path weigh in on the struggle to stay afloat. to everyone navigating these uncertain times... whether you're caring for your family at home or those at work, principal is by your side. we're working hard to answer your questions. like helping you understand what the recently passed economic package can mean for you. we're more than a financial company. we're a "together we can get through anything" company. now, more than ever. you can't always stop for a fingerstick.betes with the freestyle libre 14 day system, a continuous glucose monitor, you don't have to. with a painless, one-second scan you can check your glucose with a smart phone or reader so you can stay in the moment. no matter where you are or what you're doing. ask your doctor for a prescription for the freestyle libre 14 day system. you can do it without fingersticks. learn more at freestylelibre.us. so we're working 24/7 toected maintain a reliable network, to meet your growing internet needs. we're helping customers who are experiencing financial difficulties stay connected. we're increasing internet speeds for low income families in our internet essentials program. and delivering self-install kits to your door. nos comprometemos a mantenerte conectado. we're committed to keeping you connected. for more information on how you can stay connected, visit xfinity.com/prepare. jedediah: we are back with quick headlines. nfl facility could say open as soon as tuesday. commissioner roger goodell says they can reopen if state and local governments allow. must follow strict guidelines before and after opening. infection control officers must complete training courses and no more than 75 people are allowed in at one time chief quarterback patrick that home will be the commencement speaker at his graduation. the super bowl mvp speech will be live streamed during ceremony next week. pete: there you go. thank you. u.s. retail sales suffering biggest drop in history in april. plunging 16.4% as covid-19 shuttered businesses across the country how long before it will completely destroys small business stores. here to weigh in joining me now co-owner of moving group me began campbell ceo and founder of casey cattle company in western missouri patrick montgomery and owner of good buy girls boutique in nashville, tennessee. tonyaco. i hope i got that right. my apologies if i didn't. your business was deemed essential, which is so arbitrary to say whether you are essential or nonessential to begin with. we can start there. but how are you navigating this moment as a small business owner? >> you know, pete, thanks very much for having me. one of the things that isn't even a game for us right now is innovation is the face of ever-changing circumstances and certainly rapidly changing circumstances. so, for example, we are in the middle right now of completely overhauling our strategy to hire people because what we are seeing in our market we talk to candidates when we work our accounting staffing agency, we are getting lots of feedback that people are saying i'm choosing not to go back to work because the federal benefits that i'm getting along with my unemployment compensation are far greater than what i would see if i were back on the job. so, you know, we are just looking to innovate any way we can we are working with our customers' ever-changing needs. as markets are reopening here in kansas city but across the country, we are really seeing that businesses want to bring their people back to facilities but they are realizing very rapidly that they are going to have to rejigger lots of things in order to keep social distancing correct while we can help with that and moving them around, the other thing we are seeing from that it's creating a surplus of office furniture and fixturing that we can take into storage and store for them. pete: the idea that people are paid more not to work is a very, very real problem. patrick, you are selling beef. a lot of it is online. how has this moment affected you? >> we have seen uptick in traffic since the stherlt at home has taken place. people can't find items on their shelves at local grocery stores. it comes to us to help source those products. one of the problems that's come out of what we have seen with our processors across the country. we are dealing with that same thing here in missouri. trying to keep things in stock and inventory and actually meet consumer demand has been a real challenge. pete: very much. so you are retailer. foot traffic important for you in the past. it has stopped. how are you staying afloat right now. >> i learned in business school you innovate or die. i have had my shop for over 10 years and i'm from nashville, tennessee. u.s.a. the tourism is a huge industry here. so, normally, we obviously have no tourists right now. so even if my shop well the stay-at-home just lifted so i could technically be open right now. but even if we were, you know, we have no tourists. there is not going to be as much, if really any foot traffic right now. so, yeah. we have mostly just shifted our focus to online for the meantime and just been trying to increase our online presence and online sales. and since there are so many people quarantining at home, you know, it's just a matter of grabbing their attention. i think that people really do want to shop small and are more aware of that more than ever. and they want to support. it's just as a small business, and not having all the money to -- for big advertising and things like that, it's grabbing their attention and grabbing their awareness and letting them know hey, we are here, we exist. please shop with us. pete: don't click on the amazon link because it's easy. find someone in your community who needs your support. >> yes it. does take a little extra effort to find out maybe what local small businesses are around you. i guarantee everyone has a cute little local boutique around the corner that has super cute stuff. we have been doing free local nearby delivery and zero contact pete: i wish we had more time.d. you are fighting to keep people employed and pull people off unemployment roles which is a difficult thing to do. thank you all so much. we appreciate it? >> thank you. >> thank you. pete: you got it. coming up, biden's campaign is convinced the former vp can compete in texas. does he really is a chance in the lone star state? we will ask texas congressman louie gohmert when he joins us live coming up next. instead car, for everything that i give, i get so much in return. hearing all of stanley's stories about his home, and everything that he's learned over the years, it reminds me that this is as much for him as it is for me. join our family of home instead caregivers and help make a world of difference. home instead senior care. apply today. and other money managers don't understand why. because our way works great for us! but not for your clients. that's why we're a fiduciary, obligated to put clients first. so, what do you provide? cookie cutter portfolios? nope. we tailor portfolios to our client's needs. but you do sell investments that earn you high commissions, right? we don't have those. so, what's in it for you? our fees are structured so we do better when you do better. at fisher investments we're clearly different. >> incredible military equipment at a level nobody has ever seen it before. super duper missile. space is going to be the future. pete: sign me up for the super duper missile. it's your shot of the morning. president trump unveiling the space force flag inside the oval office. >> griff: space force seal with the simple delta symbol. jedediah: speaking of space, in just a couple of hours the united launch alliance will launch an atlas 5 rocket caring an air force space plane. wow. pretty cool. griff: yeah. it is cool. the flag maybe i haven't looked on twitter to see if "star trek" or "star wars" fans are going to like it or not. really. they are the audience you must appease. i will say this. it's a cool moment. pete: about time, we have got to have it, absolutely. jedediah: good stuff. griff: all right. turning now to your headlines. the pilot of the helicopter that crashed killing kobe bryant had no drugs or alcohol in his system. the l.a. corner releasing autopsy reports for all nine victims. one trauma being listed as a cause of death and deemed accidental. kobe bryant and his 13 daughter gianna and friends were killed in the crash. the national transportation safety board is still investigating what caused the helicopter to go down. air force pilot is safe during training. forced to eject during routine exercise at egg glenn air force base -- eglin air force base a coffee shop finds new way to help customers with social distancing cafe roth handing out noodle hats to keep a safe space from each other. the owner says it's a fun way to opening up on this weekend. german eateries were closed for two months due to the coronavirus. germany is getting into the spirit, pete. and a lot of soccer fans excited too. because the professional soccer league is opening up. they are going to start playing. they are very serious a top pro-german soccer league. things are happening in germany. a real test case. pete: might have to have me walk the plank before i put a hat on that has a pool noolings that shows me how far can i be or close to other people. maybe that's a euro thing. jedediah: of course you say that and i'm like where can i get one of those hats? in mid-atlantic, get back. i need one of those. >> i went for a run the other day. yes, it's new jersey, i get it. i'm running and i'm at least 15 feet away from someone walking down the sidewalk who is wearing a mask. that's fine. and he walked up on the grass to get not just 15 feet away from me but like 25 feet away as i ran. so i think -- i don't know that it all is science based. a little fear based. but if we can open it back up, do you want to put on a noodle hat, you go right ahead. jedediah: i'm down. pete: coming up, when he is not hiding in his basement, and dodging questions about the flynn unmasking, joe biden is interviewing potential running mates as the list of all female vp contenders grows by the day. lisa booth here to break it down coming up next. g our customers a portion of their personal auto premiums. we're also offering flexible payment options for those who've been financially affected by the crisis. we look forward to returning to something that feels a little closer to life as we knew it, but until then you can see how we're here to help at libertymutual.com/covid-19. [ piano playing ] "show me what you're made of." so we showed it our people, sourcing and distributing more fresh food than anyone... our drivers helping grocers restock their shelves. how we're helping restaurants open pop-up markets. and encouraging all americans to take out to give back. adversity came to town. so we looked it in the eye. and it won't be us... that blinks first. pete: welcome back. a couple of quick headlines. this new yorker went from beach bum to you jail bird after he was caught allegedly violating hawaii's mandatory quarantine. so dangerous out there on the waves. authorities arrested tareq peters after he posted these pictures showing him out and about in what you kiki. tourists are supposed to self-quarantine for two weeks after arriving. ordered him to be held on $4,000 bond. dangerous guy yeah out on the beach, look out. you might get it, wow. grand canyon seeing legal tourism first time since march 1st. social distance and bring their own food. hiking centers. look out for hiking trails. they will get you. all right. jed, over to you. jedediah: stacey abrams is continuing four become joe biden's running mate praising him at joint town halls with the presumptive nominee. >> politics run and stay in office. i'm here to do the work. my interest is no matter what i help make certain that joe biden is the next president of the united states that we win every election up and down the ballot. this is man of courage and competence who helped lead us through a global crisis before and he can do it again. jedediah: she is facing stiff competition with at least a dozen other vp contenders including biden's fellow administration alum susan rice who signaled her interest this week. joining me now to react fox news contributor lisa booth. lisa, welcome. >> hi jedediah. nice to see you. this list is growing. every week someone is saying pick me, pick me a lot of females on the list. potentially kamala harris, susan rice. we talked about stacey abrams. do you think, first of all, it's important that joe biden pick a woman? >> i don't think it really particularly matters to be honest. have you got the two people -- two top democratic contenders toward the end were two old white guys. i think the democratic primary electorate claims that they care a lot about, you know, identity politics, but in the end they don't. by just the shear fact that joe biden is going to be the presumptive nominee. look it, stacey abrams who joe biden just gave a recent test run to ended up on the ticket, i don't know who would be the more delusional one. joe biden who is a plagiarist who has made up easily disprooivel claims like he graduated in the top half of his law school when in fact he graduated toward the bottom or stacey abrams repeatedly lied about losing the georgia gubernatorial race when she lost by 55,000 votes who still hasn't conceded. and who even worse launched a group fair fight off of the lie of voter suppression to keep her name in politics and to keep her going in fact, that group has served her political advantage because they paid for advertising for her during the super bowl and then also during surrounding her state of the union rebuttal in 2019. so not only is she lying. but she has used that lie to her political advantage. jedediah: yeah. some polling is showing that warren would be the favorite among some democrats if he were to choose a female and i'm not sure how well would that would gore him. obviously on record as a pretty far left person. i don't know how that would resonate with independent voters and others around the country who are a little more centrist. i want to ask you about the terror reed allegations that have come out. obviously this is post or still the midst of the me too movement. a lot of questions about a double standard, obviously. with respect to biden and the way kavanaugh was treated. listen to what biden had to say on voters who believe reade. this is from msnbc on thursday. >> i think they should vote their heart. if they believe tara reade they probably shouldn't vote for me. i wouldn't vote for me if i believed tara reade. jedediah: what do you think, lisa? >> well, i mean, i agree with him. i don't think voters should vote for him. but, look, as you pointed out, there is a clear double standard. and the ironic thing is most of the women that he is considering to be his potential vp are all individuals who once said we should believe all the women which are singing a different tune now that tara reade has accused joe biden of sexual misconduct. but joe biden's biggest problem. he had the same problem michael bloomberg did. remember when everyone was saying michael bloomberg could end up being the nominee. he could end up being president, even though he hadn't won a single primary or a single caucus. and what did we see? we saw michael bloomberg on the debate stage and he failed miserably because voters actually got to see him up close. right now, joe biden is protected because of this pandemic in his basement not having to go out and be an actual candidate. once that starts happening. once voters actually see joe biden for the terrorism candidate that he is, i think his numbers are going to inevitably fall. jedediah: lisa, i want to ask you about the flynn unmasking quickly because joe biden was one of the people who had requested the unmasking of flynn. is this something? he has offensive touted he was part of the obama administration as being a scandal-free administration. a transparent administration. that is proving to not be the case in the latest revelations. will that be something that tarnishes his record? will it actually make a difference? lisa: scandal is actually what defines the obama administration. look, they abuse their power to spy on journalists. they have abused their power to spy on the senate intelligence committee. why would anyone doubt the fact that the obama administration would abuse their power to spy on a political opponent, the trump campaign. additionally, you look at the fact that you have got the botched fast and furious operation. you had the iris targeting conservatives. you had, as i mentioned, the cia spying on the senate intelligence committee hacking their computers. you had hillary clinton setting up an illegal server. you have benghazi. i mean, scandal is literally what the obama administration was about. so the fact that he has been able to peddle that lie and not be called on it by the media, tells you everything you need to know about both joe biden and the media. jedediah: thank you, lisa. we appreciate you being here. it will remains to be seen what he will and will not be held accountable for but we will see. >> thank you. jedediah: we will see. thanks so much. coming up, front line workers are getting the spotlight at nascar's big return tomorrow on fox. up next we will meet one of the nurses receiving the honor who has been keeping coronavirus patients connected to their loved ones with the help of special teddy bears. bring your family history to life, like never before. get started for free at ancestry.com pete: welcome back on this saturday morning. in icu nurses help covid-19 patients stay connected with their family members by giving them stuffed bears that have recordings of their loved ones voices. jedediah: this weekend she is one of several front line workers being honored by nascar during the real heroes 400 which airs on fox tomorrow. griff: michelle vaughn helped create be there bears and she joins us now. michelle, good morning to you, on behalf of all of us, let us say thank you for being on that front line for the work you have been doing. no one will ever forget it. tell us though the bear program. what was the motivation? why did you do it? and what is it? >> well, hi, thank you so much for having me. this is such an honor to be on your show, first of all. you know, the bear project is -- i'm so blown away by the response that we have gotten from them. you know, what we -- my colleagues at st. mary's hospital, we saw a need for these patients who are alone and been intubated. couldn't have their family near them and we saw this need and the hospital just took it and here we are. so, it's just an incredible experience. i'm so pleased with these bears have taken off as much as they have. you know, i have one of the original kind of bears that i started working on at my house with my kids. and, you know, we take the recording and call family members and put the recording in the back of the bear once we have the recording with family and so it's been really good for us. it's been really good for the families. it's such an incredible experience to see that we're touching lives with these little bears. jedediah: michelle, i love the idea just because, you know, when you are sick or i can imagine, you know, being in that situation and you hear someone's voice that you recognize and that you love. it's such an uplifting power. so, it's just amazing that you came up with that and really touches the hearts of everyone, i think, who hear the concept. now, you are going to be honored by nascar's, actually, tomorrow. what is that like for you to be honored for your service and what have you done for this country at this really important time? >> -- and, you know, we -- this nascar thing has just been like a cherry on top, almost. because sports is a huge thing here in my family and, you know, your show is really, my parents love your show. and so i'm getting a lot of brownie points here for, you know, just being a part of nascar, you know, denny hamlin had a shoutout to me. that was so cool. i saw on the show yesterday dagen offered me to go to the nascar race. i'm blown away. i can't even believe that all of this is happening for us just because we wanted to bring this -- the comfort to our patients, you know, it's kind of the nature of the nurse who wants to comfort their patients. and so i'm kind of -- it's surreal to be able to be this taken care of i feel like, you know, very cool. pete: michelle, i have to ask though as someone who is in these hospitals, what are you seeing on the front line as we push to flatten the curve. what's the capacity there how are you doing? >> we're doing well. you know. the hospital has taken up -- we are really managing because the community is doing the job of following the guidelines and they are taking care of us when they are following the guidelines. i appreciate the community so much for piing that up. because i can't even imagine what that has to do for people right now. my heart goes out to everybody who is having to deal with this in this type -- you know, it's a lot for this community to be at home and not get to go to work and they are worried. and i want to thank them so much because we really are seeing the benefits. we are not overwhelmed. we were at first and now i'm so much more confident. griff: michelle, speaking of doing a lot. you have done a lot in a lot of time that you didn't have but you did. we really, really appreciate everything you have done. we want to remind our viewers to be sure to watch nascar's real heroes 400 tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. on fox because you will see michelle vaughn and be there bears among other heroes being honored. michelle, thank you very much. keep doing what you are doing. pete: thank you. >> thank you so much for having me. pete: absolutely. for more inspiring stories like that one visit our website foxnews.com/america together. well, we have a busy three hours still ahead. we are joined by andy mccarthy. nascar legend richard childress country singer tim montana and representative louie gohmert. don't go anywhere. and cvs health is helping, with free home prescription delivery, telehealth from aetna, and support for caregivers. we're doing all we can to help you stay well, as you stay in. because now more than ever, home is where the heart is. cvs health. get a free footlong. just buy one and get one free. when you order in the app with contactless payment for quick and easy pick-up. that's buy one, get one free. for a limited time only. >> well, to be fair, i think it is a jobs bill but it's just about the speaker's job keeping her far left group squad. we need this liberal agenda in the bill that we can pass so that we don't have to remove you as speaker. so, yeah, it was a jobs bill but it was more the speaker's job than americans that are hurting and need to get back to work. jedediah: yeah, congressman, this bill obviously dead in the senate. i want to shift over to texas, actually and talk a little more about that. you now have the biden campaign being convinced that joe biden can compete in texas. are they right? >> yes if certain things happen. they will have to have an awful lot of people in this country illegally vote. and also there is a group of republicans have tried to break in. we can't get these votes and of course i'm talking about dead people. they vote traditionally 100 percent to democrat. but if they get enough dead people, they get enough people illegally in the country and they are able to cheat adequately yes biden has a real chance of winning in texas. if they don't have enough illegal votes and dead votes and can't cheat adequately and it's a fair election, then biden has no chance in texas. pete: how do we safeguard that congressman. the house bill, which is dead in the senate, you are right. it's not going to become law. they are trying to pass 3.6 billion for mail-in voting. what should the trump administration be paying the most attention to to fight back against voter fraud? >> well, since congressman dated electronic voting back after the 2,000 election which they never should have done, it's the way it is and there's been cheating that's gone on. and so we have got to have -- in texas, we have got to have our attorney general and ourselves not just allowing the big cities to hire these democrats soros-type funded groups to come in and do the counting, using flash drives for early votes where they manipulate the votes, we have got to have republican watchdogs at every stage to make sure those votes don't get changed and and we have also got to have people at polling places. and i had precinct chairs saying we were having trouble getting poll watchers. republicans have got to volunteer. this is all hands on deck. we have got to make sure that cheating doesn't happen and it's a fair elections biden has no chance. griff: hey, congressman, i have got to ask you about something that interests me. i never thought i would see tesla's founder elon musk in a 10 gal hat cowboy hats and spurs. it appears over coronavirus restrictions. so where do we stand? is there a chance you get a new texan named elon? >> sounds like that's a real possibility because he is tired of being jacked around by the california governor and the california politics. but, you guys know. you are so plugged. in you know for california to run musk off from california, you know things have really gotten bad. and for him to be willing to look at a conservative state like texas, yeah, things have really gotten bad in california. griff: that's a good point. we want to let you listen to a very popular podcast joe rogan sounding off on just that listen to this. >> hey, i might move to texas. if california continues to be this restrictive. >> yeah. >> i don't know if this is a good place to live. i might jet. i'm not kidding. >> yeah? >> i'm not kidding. this is silly. i don't need to be here. pete: yeah, congressman. he is a free thinker. he is not a conservative. he said he would vote for bernie. he ultimately looks at his government and says they are locking me down. >> there are more and more people that are looking at and this a leaving texas. for texas. in texas we have been saying we don't need more liberals coming from california and new york. have you messed up your state, don't come mess up ours. but in ted cruz's election, apparently some exit polling indicated he won heavily those that had moved into texas. they were looking for a better way but we lost an awful lot of votes to people that were educated in texas and taught that socialism was a way to go. so we have got some work to do in our own backyard. by the way, football is still king. football and baseball in texas. and i know you are plugging soccer coming back. i just remind you soccer is a gateway sport. you start watching that you may be watching lacrosse in no time. pete: i agree with you all the way, congressman. 100 percent. griff: german pro-soccer. i would watch hermit crab snail racing if it was live to be honest at this point. [laughter] >> that's true. we are so hungry for good sports and get rid of politics. yeah. thank you. thanks for keeping your finger on the pulse. jedediah: congressman, i want to ask you about what's going on in michigan. right now you have a bit of uproar there. doctors suing over the state's shutdown and democratic sheriff refusing to enforce the orders. this is randal baker from the health partners president and surgeon. this shutdown is risking lives and imperilling health. the curve has flattened there will likely be spikes of cases in the future but we can't shut down non-covid healthcare every time. we need to reassess the best practices to save lives particularly with covid-19 cases are low. this is something we are seeing a lot. right? i'm seeing it in new york city where a lot of people can't get to doctors for things not related to covid. there are other ailments that people suffer from and covid has shut a lot of places down and it's inhibited those people from getting treated for other issues. and also the shutdown is obviously at this point having a very clear implication on businesses. small businesses around the country. lots of people suffering with no end in sight. so what do you make of all of this? >> well, first of all, it really is good to see you back. as far as what's gone on in michigan and we are seeing even in new york and around the country, people are waking up and they are realizing that this freedom thing is very important. and so many of us, yes, we care about every person who has suffered from the coronavirus. and we don't want to lose another american. but, at the same time, as i pointed out yesterday on the floor, you know, they say if we just save one life, then maybe we need to give up a little more freedom. but i take you back to over a million americans that gave their lives so that we would have the freedom to pursue our opportunities and to either succeed or fail on our own. what about those lives? and so people are waking up. wait. don't cause me to lose my life's work with a promise you are going to send me a government check. i want to make it on my own or fail on my own. we are seeing a resurgence of the good old american spirit saying let me at least try whether i succeed or fail. and it's really encouraging to see that grow. pete: absolutely, a men, congressman. i have to ask you about this a bit selfishly. you chair the justice for warriors caucus. this week you called for president trump to pardon veterans. they were a are the path raven 23. also known as the biden 4. these are four contractors that protected state department officials in baghdad ultimately thrown under the bus. what could've tell us briefly about this case and what you are fighting for? >> well, thanks for asking about it, pete. there is nothing selfish about what you are asking. you are a great american. have you served our country. and you care deeply about these people. now, they are cast as civilian contractors. you had two marines and two army guys and they were hired by the u.s. government in iraq in a place of danger to protect our diplomats. there was a car bomb that went off. these guys were called to the scene to get our diplomat out safely. there is a truck that surges past their road block and won't turn around. won't stop. they fire bullets over their head and they start taking shots from all these other iraqis. and, in fact, there were witnesses that said that the iraqi police picked up bags, sacks full of casings that were fired at our four people that were protecting the diplomatic. and, yet, and they went ahead and were prosecuted but the federal judge threw it out. for example, a weapons charge, they were charged with illegally having weapons. the state department gave them. and they -- so the judge threw those out. and then our friends, hillary clinton and joe biden take a personal interest in demanding these guys be convicted and sent to prison and biden even went to iraq and stood beside the iraqi president and promised they are going after these guys and they did. and they are sitting in prison for protecting our diplomats. and that is so outrageous but it's typical biden and obama. pete: they should have medals on their chest and not behind bars. we will carry this story. congressman gohmert thank you so much for fighting for us we appreciate it? >> thank you. pete: turning now to a few additional headlines a man is charged with murder less than a month after prison release. core nailous was freed because of the covid-19. now accused of shooting and killing a woman in a denver alley. he has been serving a seven year sentence for robbery. and president trump is removed a state department inspector general. steve lynn nic appointed by former president obama is known for briefing congress on the biden family ties to ukraine. lennox has served in the office since 2013. he has criticized several trump appointees for alleged mistreatment of career service officials or maybe giving them new guidance. walmart employees go out of their way to give their co-workers a high school graduation. watch this. >> mary mel. it. >> 302s are the bureau's report of interview. they follow a practice that really lends itself to manipulation and worse it's because the process they follow may have made sense in like the 1960s and 1970s. with the technology we have today there is no reason they can't record the interview electronically. and then there wouldn't be any dispute over what the witness said. instead they have this practice where one agent leads the questioning. another one is the witness and writes the notes. and then within five days, which itself could be too long of a time, they are supposed to get together, use their notes and their memory and write down what the witness said. which already is shows that it's, number one, hearsay and number two they have a motive to tighten up the case. right? you are not going to get a verbatim transcript. what happened in flynn's case it looks like they probably did write a report or at least a draft of a report on the day that they did the interview january 24th, but the actual 302 is not completed until three weeks later we know because of the text between peter strzok and lisa page that this thing went through major revisions and edits ohio edits it and then the next person, lisa page says to strzok, what a piece of garbage you gave me. and strzok says to her you should have seen it when i got it who knows how many representations whether it's what flynn said by the end is questionable. and then the other thing, pete, that you have to bear in mind is the agents who interviewed him didn't think he lied. so that's like the cherry on top. pete: do we ever get the truth? do we ever -- or is this -- can we unpack the layers of you who they manipulated this to get to the truth? >> here's why i think, pete, what attorney general mail-in voting becoming the first state to widely adopt the measure for november's elections. could this mistakingly lead to immigrants voting in the election. they are, after all, allowed to vote in some local elections in the golden state. here to react is the research director for eric agers. is this a legitimate risk that illegal immigrants will wind up being able to vote in national election? >> i think it's absolutely a legitimate risk. i mean, we are talking about a state that's already had to remove over 1.5 million voters from voter roles in one county because the voter rolls have been proven to have too much bloat. one several counties over 10 been found to have numerous problems with excessive bloat. more registered voters than citizens of legal age. you combine that with a state that gives you a driver's license or register to vote when you get a driver's license and oh by the way we have over 1 million illegal immigrants that have driver's licenses in california and as you noted there is some confusion because you are allowed, regardless of your citizenship status to vote in some local municipal elections. so, all of a sudden you have got all these people that maybe shouldn't be registered in the first place receiving a ballot and they are allowed to vote in other elections. what do you think is going to happen? jedediah: when i hear that i think to myself obviously there has to be some check on the system, right? there has to be some way that this information is funneled through and then what should not be there is weeded out from what should be there. is the case there is just too much bureaucracy and that's not happening at all? >> unfortunately in my research i found very little oversight in the way of protection to ensure that only accurate and legal votes are cast. in fact, the bias is oftentimes the opposite way. that's one of the reason why they are mailing everybody's ballot. the bias is towards access. all americans should support. but i think americans should also support the idea that only legal voters get to cast ballots. i have a 90-year-old grandfather in california and, of course, i want him to be able to vote without risking it manage it and put trust in the american people. that's what i hear time and time again from folks across the country. griff: yeah. jedediah: yeah. the story seems to change every day like you said. people are trying plan. you know, a lot of people are trying to run their homes responsibly. unlike the government which seems to spend money like it's going out of style and grows on trees because it's none of their money. the only money the government has to spend is our money. people send sitting at home and trying to budget for their families. running out of money and worrying about their businesses in many cases they spent their entire lives building. listen, i'm sensitive to the covid-19 issue. i had covid-19. i get it. it's serious. it can be traumatizing to a family. what can also be traumatizing to a family is a loss of a business that they have spent their entire lives working on and a home that they have fought tooth and nail to pay for. so you have to look at this across the board. and there are calamities that are being suffered that are physical and then there are calamities that are being suffered that are economic. and those are valuable to have a discussion about as well. griff: well, you know, let me tell you, unfulfilled expectations are a big deal. that's what the barstool sports thing was all about. as he said it was about getting on a cross-country flight and six hours later get to the west coast. all right, just kidding. 10 more hours. people aren't going to stand for it. jedediah: yeah. griff: here in washington another story we have got to hit this morning that is, of course, the unmaskers, we have former cia director john brennan on that list. he says now he welcomes the chance to talk to the german investigators following the flynn bombshell. listen to this. >> i would like to think that john durham and the other doj and fbi investigators will continue to honor their oath of office and to carry out their responsibilities without any consideration of political interest. i feel very good that my tenure at cia and my time at the white house during the obama administration did not engage any any type of wrongdoing or activities that cause me to worry about what this investigation may uncover. so, i welcome opportunity to talk with the investigators. i have nothing to hide. pete: good. set it up. john durham should call him right now and get him on the line and bring him in to talk. jedediah it's so amazing to watch the disconnect of what these officials say in public on tv when they're not under oath. when they're, they say well, we never had any evidence that there was collusion. we just had to do it. jedediah: just the cockiness of that if you watch that i mean, it's nauseating. that is someone who feels he is going to be unchallenged. that he can simply say oh, there was nothing nefarious going on and no one is going to ask any tough questions and no one is going to ask to see the justification why he was unmasked. and no one is going to say where was the national security justification for this. he has an air about him you know what in the media has got my back. everyone has got my back. i'm not worried about this. that's really disgraceful. griff: he might be worried if he has anything to hide, jedediah. remember the durham investigation has criminal prosecution power. and what the durham investigation is looking at. i have sources directly that have told me this week that they are looking at that list of 39 names unmasked flynn. if one of them, which is possible a list of suspects leaked that name to the "the washington post" david ignatius. that is a felony. and that is why the durham investigation is different than just going out and lying about a russia collusion narrative that you want to get is it that judge emmet sullivan that he believes judge gleason, this respected retired federal judge and former brooklyn prosecutor to come in now? >> yes, it's inappropriate, i think it's unlawful in our system of government the decision whether to prosecute and to drop a prosecution is entirely vested in the justice department. and ultimately in the attorney general. so, it's inappropriate. i think it's unlawful and unlawful under the law of the d.c. circuit in which judge sullivan sits. let's look at what very briefly what attorney general barr who i know to be a person of integrity did. when serious questions raised about the lawfulness of general flynn's prosecution by the bob mueller team he appointed a very respected united states attorney from saint lewis who had been unanimously confirmed to the united states senate to take a fresh look. look at all the new evidence that's come in. evidence that apparently had been withheld from general flynn's defense lawyers. and he then came to a conclusion and recommendation and gave it to the attorney general namely the prosecution never should have been brought in the first instance. the attorney general accepted that. it's his responsibility and with all due respect to judge you have sullivan is he overstepping his bounds here and judge gleason was right 8 years ago in staying would be an abuse of discretion for him not to accept the plea that had been entered into or dismiss the charges that had been previously brought. griff: you laid out so well. i want to ask you though judge starr if that exculpatory evidence had been given to flynn, could the government have met its burden of proof in the case? >> i don't think so. because as i read this motion to dismiss filed by attorney general barr through the united states attorney, no. the interview in the white house on january 24th, first of all, the agents did not think that general flynn was lying. but, in a legal matter -- that's the factua legal matter. as a factual matter the elements were not met because of this very important thing teerttle. even if there had been false statement, it was not that terribly material or relevant to prosecute. so the charges never should have been brought and this been a terrible injustice to general flynn. griff: your honor, we have to leave it there. judge starr for joining us this morning. we will find out what if there is a story line, and i know columnists have to come up with a different angle. that might be the story line. that three years later will democrats finally understand why they lost and why it could happen again if they don't adjust? to me, that's the story. it's not well this guy who won last time will he actually, if he loses walk away? of course he will walk away if he loses. the electoral candidate -- i didn't even know this. when you win a state, there are people there that have to go report that victory. they actually flipped three electoral college members who decided even though my state gave them the vote gave my state the victory, i'm going to go vote for hillary clinton, which is unthinkable. pete: absolutely. maybe part of the issue, brian. go ahead, jed, please. jedediah: i apologize. i have a little bit of a delay so i feel like i keep interrupting pete so i apologize, audience if you see that usually i interrupt pete intentionally right now it's not intentional. what's? -- and what keeps you awake at night? jedediah: brian, i have said before that it's concerning to me some his behavior like this. but, are democrats behind the scenes worried about this? what do you think? brian: i don't think there is any question they are worried about it. that's why almost every appearance, guys, he is with the would be vice president nominee whether it's stacey abrams or amy klobuchar doing dual appearances. talking to other candidates to bring him through. if we were in a typical campaign year and there was no pandemic and we wish for that he would be making three or four appearances a day. i don't know if he could possibly pull off extemporaneously any type of exwith a reporter's hard question or even a town hall. remember four or five times he actually yelled at people who asked him questions and said don't vote for me? pete: yes. brian: if this was a typical year, there would be michelle obama one day, barack obama the next day, there would be mayor pete over here. he would never be alone. just goes to show you are not electing joe biden. you are electing nancy pelosi. she is going to have all the power. she might as well be in the white house. she will be calling all the shots. she will be writing the legislation and he will be rubber stamping it. i think at his core i don't even think he wants to do it. there is no passion to get to the -- to get to 1600 pennsylvania avenue. and i just go back to what barack obama said joe, you don't have to do this. i sense that they knew towards the end of the -- his second term that joe wasn't the same guy. he was a terrible candidate. he was awful. he got it because jim clyburn stepped up and no one else besides bernie sanders was close. if there was anyone but bernie sanders who was leading or in second place, joe biden would not be the nominee. but they knew that sanders would just blow up the whole party with his socialist beliefs and his green deal. griff: right, brian. so i ask you this. what would sam houston say about this if he were here today because your paperback is out now sam houston and the alamo avengers a great read. what do you think houston and the folks back in that era would think about this? >> you know what i'm amazed at i get kind of lucky when the tripoli pirates came out war on terror and that was the first war on terror. when andrew jackson came out president of the united states andrew jackson reminds me of me and that became a news story. this is all about freedom. you went to the texas for the opportunity not the guarantee of success. now talk about sam houston and others when they try to take liberty away, that's what got them to stand up and fight and come up with this unthinkable victory. that's actually not only happening in this country but happening in texas where they are telling people where to walk, what time to go out. you cannot work. and you have a barber stand up -- salon owner stand up and say i have the right to work. i would rather go to jail than have my livelihood taken away. those are all the things that made texas texas and made america america. so it's pretty much the same people. what i tried to do in the paperback is bring his brief interaction with lincoln. and lincoln when the civil war was about to start he said hey, sam, i know you don't want texas in this war, he goes keep them out. and i will provide prediction for you because sam houston knew the confederacy would lose and hundreds of thousands would die. the people of texas said no, i'm in with the south. and lincoln's offer was rejected. i wanted to bring you full circle with everything. the whole theme of freedom and destiny and guaranteed pay as opposed to guaranteed hope of success, i mean, that's right the redichotomy which we are experiencing right now. anything but michigan and pennsylvania is what most americans would have wanted in our past. pete: i love it. jedediah: people should r. remember if they sign up for fox nation today they can get first month for 99 krebs plus all month get a free copy of pete's book with a one year subscription. pete: god bless what you do and reminding people why america is so special. sam houston and the alamo avengers. brian kilmeade can you go back to bed. brian: bye, guys. griff: headlines like this predict deadly consequences if they reopen. the media needs to report the good and the bad. stay tuned. family at home or those at work, principal is by your side. we're working hard to answer your questions. like helping you understand what the recently passed economic package can mean for you. we're more than a financial company. we're a "together we can get through anything" company. now, more than ever. you get way more than free shipping. you get thousands when you shop for your home at wayfair of items you need to your door fast the way it works best for you. even the big stuff. you get a delivery experience you can always count on. you get your perfect find at a price to match on your schedule. you get free two day shipping on things that make your home feel like you! wayfair. way more than furniture. jedediah: as states like florida wisconsin restart economies. it is essential the media report the facts accurately. and headlines like this for hyping up dangers before states even reopen. in own piece the costly failure to update sky is falling predictions. examples of some states appear to be opening right despite headlines. sean trende joins us now. sean, welcome to the show. so, first and foremost, what are the dangers of these either misleading or completely false predictions? >> there is a couple of dangers. the first is we want people to be well-informed and get this right. if you want to be well-informed and get this right pay attention to bad news and also important to pay attention to the good news. the other thing is for people who do pay attention to the good news who find it on their own and don't see it reported promotes cynicism and distrust of the media and of experts. ex. jedediah: let's start with devalue county, florida. what happened there. >> deval county florida. they opened the beaches and predictions of doom and gloom. some were going on the beach with a grim reaper mask on the side. if you look at the cases since then. they are pretty consistently on the decline is doing pretty well. jedediah: shift over to georgia? >> in georgia this the state that the atlantic published a headline that it was engaging in human sacrifice to reopen its economy if you look at the number it's been almost a month. been almost a spread. i was skeptical about georgia's move. yet it has fewer cases today. it's been a pretty consistent steady decline in the daily case load there that's something that should be acknowledge. final. jedediah: finally wisconsin. >> big blow up. hard to believe it was over a month ago in early april when wisconsin had in person voting and people thought that there was going to be widespread inspections from the disease and, again, it didn't happen. the milwaukee journal sentinel did an investigation and they weren't able to definitively tie any cases to the outbreak. the number of epidemiologists there said they were surprised by. this and, yet, the only place you can really go to find this coverage is in conservative outlets like national review. complete silence from the media that blew this story up in early april. jedediah: sean, thanks for being here. accuracy matters. appreciate it. >> thank you. jedediah: coming up the countdown to race day is on. nascar makes its return to fox sports tomorrow without the fans. fox nation host casey mcdonald joins us on america's return to sports. that's coming up next. feed apoquel can work on that itch in as little as 4 hours, whether it's a new or chronic problem. and apoquel's treated over 7 million dogs. nice. and... the talking dog thing? oh, you don't have to answer that. >> reporter: [laughter] i can tell you what lawmakers in both parties are saying about this bill. they are saying that it is a partisan wish list that has no chance of going anywhere. some of the more controversial parts of the heros act include a $25 billion bailout for the u.s. postal service, $50 million for links between pollution and covid-19 and allowing undocumented immigrants to qualify for a second round of direct payments to most americans. here is the gop congressman dan crenshaw. >> is this a joke? because it certainly isn't based on reality. $3 trillion signaling to your base is no way to. >> governor: en in the midst of a crisis and you know it. >> reporter: despite those criticisms the legislation narrowly passed by a vote of 208 -199 an those voting against it included 14 democrats mostly moderates who face tough relationship election battles this fall. the bill has zero chance in passing the senate which prompt ed fierce criticism from a number of democrats. >> just a few years ago the stock markets at 25,000, and our friends on the other side say what do we do now? let's do a tax cut. fast forward a few months, global pandemic, 36 million people unemployed in the republican party, we don't have any money to help you. are you kidding me? >> reporter: democrats are slat ing this bill as their opening offer for negotiations with the white house and republicans but republicans, especially majority leader mitch mcconnell already suggested this bill is dead on arrival so we're likely still a ways off from any type of bill for the next round of coronavirus relief. back to you all. jedediah: thanks garrett. you know when i see that, when i see tim ryan having what i can only describe as a fit there, i have to wonder, did she read the bill because i realize it's pages and pages and pages long. nancy pelosi doesn't care she's already, you know, we'll find out what's in it once we pass it type of person but honestly how can you present this as covid relief and something that's supposed to be prioritizing the coronavirus when it's stuff ed with all this nonsense so either you didn't read the bill or you think everyone out there all of us are a bunch of dummies that just think oh, they have our best interest at heart let's not question the $3 trillion value and let's not question what's actually in it so that we know we're passing stuff that yes we'll help these states in need and yes we'll help these crisis but also won't have a whole bunch of extraneous left-wing grab bag stuff that will make nancy pelosi happy and the rest of us say what did we just spend our money on? pete: yeah nancy has been very successful at those types of giveaways, to your point but it's easy for her to do that because she doesn't make the tough call here is a list of some of the items you referred to. money for ill little immigrants, money for arts and humanities, mail-in voting, you saw in wisconsin on election day by the way which was dismissed as a terrible mistake when they did it in a special election but ultimately did not lead to an increase thankfully in covid-19 cases and you've got fixing the salt deduction in the high taxed blue states so again another blue state bailout , but what she doesn't worry about is ic majoritying the tough calls in this moment which our commander-in-chief had to do. the president took the podium yesterday at the white house and he talked about the message he's been hitting hard. getting america back to work. here is the president. president trump: as of this morning almost every state has taken steps to begin reopening and the american people are doing an extraordinary job of continuing to take precautions while at the same time wanting to start and they will be starting to resume their american way of life. griff: those words really are going to be repeated throughout this weekend and really some of the words we didn't expect that be so viral online, and that is the founder of bar stool sports, joe rogan, whose a wildly popular podcast, and those were the striking the same tone, listen to a little bit of what they're saying. >> the la mayor we're not open in the city until we find a cure what? find a cure? who said they are going to find a cure. la is shutting down. what is going on and what about people who own businesses? you can't stay closed indefinitely. >> i might move to texas if california continues to be this restricted i don't know if this is a good place to live. i might jet. i'm not kidding. i'm not kidding. this is silly. i don't need to be here. pete: jed, when the non- political people start chiming in like that, it feels like the tide is turning. jedediah: yeah, and i think people feel lied to, because pete, you can't present people and say this is what's going to happen. everybody was on board initially there was a unified sentiment around the country, yes for a certain amount of days let's all make that sacrifice and do what's best for the country and do what's best for those most vulnerable but when you keep extending it with no end in sight, we've seen a mass exodus for tax reasons in the past and now it's becoming about freedom because so many people around the country have worked their whole lives for these businesses. i have so many friends that operate small businesses in new york i can tell you that have had shut down, lay people off that don't know how they feed their families next month calling me saying what's happening? they think i have some key insight because i'm in the news and i said i don't have any more answers than you do right now. i just hope at some point people have an opportunity to hold on to what they've worked so hard for their whole lives. it's really bad to see. griff: it's not just about the freedom. you're talking about, but it's really the frustration you see from joe rogan is a frustration with our elected leaders that now are indicating that they don't believe we're capable of self-governing of making those correct choices to stay safe, right, pete? pete: yeah, they're moving the goal post. the president has been consistent. he said give me time to flatten the curve so our health care institutions are not overwhelmed everyone did that and how did flatten the curve become find a cure? don't tell me half way through, we've got to go for another two months which will devastating you're right, businesses across the country and it's not just in new york where its been shut down. it's the epicenter it's in states and counties with almost no covid cases, and they're still saying you need to stay shut because the governor's decided that's what's best. well mike slater, a radio talk show host, a california resident , he climbed in on this. >> this could be like the final kick in the pants. one of the reasons why a 13.3% income tax, like you could even fathom that because we have beaches and now you can't even go to the beaches. but the problem with this is, 50 % of the state revenue comes from people who makeover half a million dollars a year, so and those people are the easiest to leave, right is pack up and go buy a new house, for cash, and taxes, so when those people leave it's going to put an on bigger burden on our state revenue which is going to hurt the middle class the most. pete: oh, you tax the rich they can go somewhere else. new york, la, where does it stop jedediah: that's exactly right and we actually reached out to viewers to ask you guys what you think about all this stuff going on. we got an e-mail from darryl who says i am employed in an essential facility, no outbreaks, few cases no problems. we have implemented social distancing where possible, personal responsibility is key. pete: and patty on facebook says the country is not one-size-fits-all. amen. governors have the guidelines and should work with their own task forces and local health officials to move forward. there will be steps back, we know that. but hopefully most forward. well said, patty. griff: maria on facebook says it's time to open up the country i will take care of myself and my family short and to the point , certainly a sentiment felt by many. pete: yeah, we're going to cover this there will be more protests today across the country. we'll bring them to you tomorrow and as we continue this coverage but there's other news as well the michael flynn stuff has been huge as what was russia gate very clearly turned into obama gate and what that administration was doing and now we're learning now that a lot of those charges, you know, they've been dropped and there's been co nsturnation about whether or not they should be dropped and what the government should do so we pulled out some tape and this is the former federal judge appointed to argue against the justice department's decision. he once ruled that it be an abuse of discretion to deny government's motion so the government says you want to drop the charges. here is what he was saying in 2012. oh, it's a read sorry about that the government has absolute discretion to decide not to prosecute in my view if the government were now moving to dismiss the case, it be an abuse of judicial discretion to deny that motion. griff? griff: so pete let me back up because the charges have been dropped. they haven't right? the doj and attorney general barr has recommended that the final sign-off needs to come from judge sullivan in the flynn case so now sullivan decided not to do that right away. he actually allowed a brief to be filed and then he went on to appoint this retired federal judge you're looking at now john gleason, a brooklyn prosecutor to come in and find out well, was it actually legitimate to drop these cases or not and added the question of whether they should open up additional new perjury charges against flynn because of his guilty flee that flynn ultimately was seeking to remove and what we're finding out now, here, is that in the light of fbi misconduct, that went into the interview with flynn is why barr is trying to assist that well i talked to ken starr a little earlier and here is what he had to say about judge glea son coming into this case now and what he found in that 2012 thing that you pointed out. listen. >> it's inappropriate to, i think, it's unlawful, in our system of government the decision of whether to prosecute and to drop a prosecution is entirely vested in the justice department and ultimately in the attorney general. all the respected judge sullivan , he's overstepping his bounds here and judge gleason was right eight years ago in saying it be an abuse of discretion for him not to accept the plea that had been entered or dismiss the charges previously brought. pete: jed, a lot of things change over time when trump is the president. jedediah: yeah, it's always, it's amazing the more, the double like i said earlier, like what happens for me, it's good for me but not for they you're seeing this enormous double standard and that's why people get so critical of media and people say there's a separate set of rules for trump. a lot of people saying that don't necessarily love trump but they see the parallel and like this is absolutely insane. pete: well more to come. still ahead fbi now joining the search for a colorado mom missing since mothers day as police make a possible break in the case. nancy grace on the case, coming up, next. we can't offer much during this time of crisis, but we can offer what we have. so from all of us working early mornings on the farm, long days in the plant, or late nights stocking shelves doing all we can to get you the milk you need. we hope it makes your breakfast a little brighter. your snacks more nutritious. and reminds you when it comes to caring, there is no expiration date. milk. love what's real. wayfair has way more ways to renovate your home, from inspiration to installation. like way more vanities perfect for you. nice. way more unique fixtures and tiles. pairing. ♪ nice. way more top brands in sinks and faucets. way more ways to rule your renovation. nice! on any budget, with free shipping. wayfair. way more than furniture. jedediah: the fbi joins the search for a missing colorado mother of two. suzanne morfew vanished after going out for a bike ride on mothers day. on thursday police found a personal item that belongs to her but won't reveal what it is and now her husband and a family friend are offering a $200,000 reward to help bring her home. here with more is host of crime stories on fox nation, nancy grace. nancy welcome as always it's a pleasure to have you. so what do you make of this colorado mom story? >> well, right now, a personal item has been found about 2,000 feet from home. we know that the fbi has joined the colorado bureau of investigation. that is significant. while they are not saying foul play, they are calling her a missing person and i find it very probative that they are saying she's missing and often women go missing it's claimed that she's off with a lover or vanished on her own. i also find the timing extremely significant. she goes out for a bike ride on mothers day. now, yes, that's a sunday like every other sunday, but it's very intriguing to me when someone goes missing on a particular holiday, such as mother's day. we know the husband which is where you always look first statistically, was out of town in denver but that's only about 150 miles away. why was he gone on mothers day? i've got a lot of questions about her routine, did she typically go riding a bike in the afternoon on sundays? why did friends report her missing around 6:00 p.m. that day, as opposed to the husband or children? where was her bike found in location to the personal item? also, we know that tracker dogs have been brought in, yet no resolution. remember in lacey peterson track er dogs followed her scent from her home in modesto to san francisco bay and if they can't find any sign of her does that mean she never took a bike ride? curious. jedediah: all great questions, fascinating questions. i want to get to the second story though because this has me completely intriguesed. dna through a geneology website hasslinged an iowa trucker to the murders of three women and this is dating back to the early 1990s? >> it's incredible and there's so much more, jedediah to the story. it really starts way back when when a young hitchhiker identifies him as raping, hitting her in the head, and trying to strangle her. nothing seemingly ever happened to that case. i can't find a record of conviction but from there on let's come to today. this guy his name is clark perry baldwin, he's arrested finally in waterloo, iowa where he lives he is a trucker and gone all over the country. listen to how they got his dna. somebody, in his family, used a let's just say what do you say, ancestry.com or a commercial geneology website, and like a golden state killer semen was found on some of these dead bodies, cold cases, and it kind of matched up to a relative , so they come in they track it track it track it, and then they narrow it down to him, they start following him and they got his dna, listen to this , out of his trash and off a walmart shopping cart. they get the dna, they track him for about nine days, get the dna off the walmart shopping cart and bam, it's a match. they have three dead women. two of them unidentified. two of them pregnant, and one virginia woman pregnant has been identified. jedediah: wow, nancy. yeah, well we're unfortunately running out of time but we're going to continue to follow these cases along with you as always we appreciate your input and an entire investigation with nancy grace is available now on fox nation so check it out, nancy is fantastic following all these cases you care about. we'll certainly have her back here as well. still ahead nascar gets the green light with drivers getting the racetrack tomorrow live from darlington fox sports nascar analyst, michael waltrip, he's going to join us live, next - hey, can i... - safe drivers save 40%!!! guys! guys! safe drivers save 40%!!! safe drivers save 40%! safe drivers save 40%!!! that's safe drivers save 40%. it is, that's safe drivers save 40%. - he's right there. - it's him! safe drivers do save 40%. click or call for a quote today. safe drivers do save 40%. jedediah: well, time to start your engines. nascar makes its big return tomorrow on fox sports. pete: in the first race in 10 weeks as drivers prepare to go head-to-head in darlington, south carolina but there will be no fans in the stands. here with more on what to expect is fox nascar analyst and two time daytona 500 winner michael waltrip. michael thank you so much for joining us on fox & friends we really appreciate it so i'll ask the question from the lead- in. what should we expect today from nascar or tomorrow, excuse me. >> it's going to be incredible. these racers, when you talk to them about what it's like to go back racing at a place like darlington, darlington is is a historic track and it's the hardest to drive. the guys haven't had any seat time and they are all antsy about what's going to happen but i love fox & friends but tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 the first live sporting event is coming to america and it's going to be on fox tomorrow and i can not wait to watch it. griff: you're not kidding, michael. look i was saying earlier i'd be willing to watch hermit crabs race but fortunately we get nascar which is going to be great so i just want to talk about the actual sport. how do they determine that after two-plus months off and who do you think is going to win? >> well it's a random draw, and brad kaslowski drew the poll so he's going to start up front. william byron is very good at darlington, and of course jimmie johnson, he is tipping off the 2020 season a really strong start for him and denny hamlin is another guy that is really good at darlington and it'll be interesting to see how those toyotas run they were a little sluggish after the big win at the daytona 500 but i think they are up for the task at darlington. jedediah: michael nascar fans are the most amazing sports fan ever and i wonder if you have a message for fans obviously they can't be there for this race on the track but do you have a message for them? >> i have a couple of messages one for fox because we've been bringingi-racing virtual racing to the fans on fox every sunday afternoon and its been really entertaining and over 1 million people tune into watch us race race cars and now, the fans are just itching. i'm always in touch with them on twitter and instagram and they are itching to see live nascar racing but i'm telling you these drivers they are itching to put on a show for our fans. it's going to be weird not see ing them up in the grandstand s but we know they will have the tv's tuned in and it's going to be a great show. griff: anyone that's ever been to a nascar race they couldn't hear the fans it gets so loud on those tracks and certainly will be tomorrow. i'm clearing my schedule tomorrow afternoon because the darlington 400 is at 3:30 p.m. eastern on fox sports. we can watch all of the excitement as it returns i guess, michael i'm going to go ahead and throw in and i'll go with hamlin. i'll put my money on him. you sold me. >> that's a good bet but if you want a long shot look at william byron. he dominates the i-racing and i know all of these guys will be ready for the green flag tomorrow. we've had some of the best racing ever at darlington, the closest finish to the history of nascar there, ricky c raven and the checkered flag and i expect the same intense action tomorrow, but it's going to be interesting after a few weeks off. pete: looking forward to watching the real thing, michael i can say it because we're an opinion channel here. more people watching fake racing on fox than watch fake news on cnn, just saying michael thank you very much appreciate your time this morning good stuff and we look forward to watching that race tomorrow. jedediah: thanks, michael. pete: the house passing the most expensive bill in u.s. history and they packed it with a liberal wish list item like money for illegal immigrants and mail-in voting, congressman adam kinsinger voted no, sounding off on that next. voting on a $3 trillion plus bill today you'd think that we just have that money lying around but do we? let's ask kevin mccarthy if he knows where it's at. do you know where i can find $3 trillion? >> check the crypt. >> okay that's a lot less scary than it sounds, and there's no $3 trillion. i wonder if she knows where it is. no she doesn't know. actually i don't know why i didn't think of this before let's just check the atm. of course. pete: [laughter] even the atm doesn't work. i don't think, congressman crenshaw found it but maybe congressman adam kinzinger has an idea a member of the house foreign relations committee, and congressman kinzinger thanks for being here. >> hey listen dan is wrong the crypt is actually pretty creepy. pete: [laughter] maybe he undersold it. so yeah what do you make of this bill? we've been talking about all of the items in it, nancy pelosi is strong arming her caucus to get it passed what's your take? >> so look all this is is, you know, it's disappointing, because we've done four or five coronavirus bills that are all bipartisan and we can debate it and when it's all done we do a bipartisan thing. this is not that. this is november focus so what she wants to do, for instance there was a repeal of the state and local income tax deduction that gives her blue state vulnerable democrats the opportunity to say that they voted for that, you know, that effects you, and then by the way your opponent probably wouldn't have, and so what you've done is you've taken a bill that she knows is going nowhere and she's made it a political weapon for november. we need to resist, you know, following suit, abusing this pandemic as political weapons and we're doing that for the most part but they can't help themselves and that's what that was. it was a disappointing, not-real attempt to govern and help the american people that need it very badly. jedediah: you know, congressman, her assumption though, is that people will do no research, people will just assume oh, republicans must not care about people suffering with covid, but instead, people are actually looking at this and they're aware of what she's done which is to try to paint something as this is for coronavirus relief, when in fact she has stuffed it with this entire left wing agenda so are people like nancy pelosi just convinced that the american people are dumb? you know, maybe. i just think what it is is she gets pulled so far to the left. she actually looks moderate in comparison to some of these new democrats. she gets pulled so far to the left and she has to appease them , and you know, unlike the old days when we actually didn't have a $30 trillion debt almost, she thinks that she can just author this kind of christmas tree of whatever anybody wants, and i saw her on an interview where she was kind of giggling about how big this was going to be, and you know, we're going to have real tough decisions to make when the economy recovers because of our debt, and it's just not a serious attempt to govern. like this is a real moment. this is something that should be bringing us together, with serious conversations, and it has legislatively up until yesterday. it's disappointing but the adults here will come in and take over in the senate and get something done ultimately. griff: and congressman, you adults also do oversight. i want to ask you about president trump, fox news is reporting, that president trump is possibly going to restore partial funding to the world health organization after pause to investigate the coronavirus response, obviously by now, most americans are aware that china tried to conceal the outbreak. here is the tweet we're getting from president trump responding to one of our hosts, lou dobbs. says lou this is just one of the numerous concepts being considered under which we would pay 10% of what we have been paying over many years, matching much lower china payments have not made final decision, all funds are frozen. thanks, but congressman, as we know, the who was tweeting this , human to human transmission wasn't a factor early on cost thousands upon millions of cases to break out. >> yeah, so, i think it's actually an interesting concept because the issue with the who, we don't want to just abandon it and disbandit but we want the head of the who gone. he is absolutely in the pocket of china and there's no better opportunity than to say we're going to withdraw most of our funding. we'll still have a seat at the table but if you want u.s. money you're going to have to make a change and we've seen these intel agencies around the world and in europe particularly saying in fact we know that the head of who had a conversation with china, and then, you know, cast a vote against declaring this a pandemic, called it the most transparent country in the world basically so we need answers and the answer is not to disband the who, but it's to have real changes and take out chinese influence and i think if the president makes this decision it may be an interesting opportunity to use that money as leverage for change. jedediah: congressman i want to shift over to some of the protests that are going on particularly in illinois with the states stay-at-home order that's in place until the end of the month so what are con stich wants saying to you about this? >> well they are pretty ticked off so in peru, illinois a hobby lobby somebody called and said it was open so the police had to come and shut it down and they didn't storm it and they showed up saying we're under orders to shut you down. hobby lobby, right? i think what's happening is you have people, my districts mostly rural. some towns are like 100 people and that's like already socially distant but they are being treated as if they are in a hotspot like chicago and the governor when he comes out and he threatens things like i'm going to withhold federal funding from these local communities, that makes people even angrier and i think what these kind of left wing governor s are forgetting is that people are free in america, and they will be voluntarily, you know, to help the stop of the pandemic but they don't want to have your thumb put on them particularly after we have flattened the curve and we were told about that. pete: congressman do you think people should start opening up saying you can't shut us down forever my business will go under. >> so i'm not going to call for that. i'm going to say, you know, that i think that the state of illinois and the governor needs to make even more flexibility to his plan, make it achievable, and understand that, you know, if people wear masks in public and keep their distance, we can basically prevent the spread as much as a lockdown can too. pete: we shall see. adam kinzinger, thank you very much appreciate your time this morning. >> any time see you guys. pete: turning to a few additional headlines the dad charged in the killing of arberr y leaked video of the deadly shooting that led to his arrest. gregory michael's lawyer gave the video to a radio station because he thought it would make him and his son look better and he and his son travis reinking accused of shooting and killing arbery on a georgia road in february. they thought he was a burglar, and his family says he was out on a jog. this as new surveillance video appears to show arberry at a construction site near where he was killed and a lawyer for the property owner says he may have been looking for a drink of water and it also shows multiple people wandering around the property the day of the shooting. and a pastor will not be charged for holding church service during lockdown in florida. rodney howard brown packed his mega-church breaking state order s and social distancing guidelines. prosecutors say charges are not necessary because the pastor followed social distancing after his arrest. and several states reopening their beaches for memorial day. new york, new jersey, connecticut and delaware jointly agreeing to open beaches and lake shores under certain restrictions. beaches can have only 50% capacity and masks will be required when social distancing is not possible. activities like football and volleyball are banned, can't do it don't bring your football to the beach. concessions, amusement parks, arcades and playgrounds will remain closed which means businesses along the beach will continue to suffer. i think this is an instance of thatthomas jefferson quote, there is liberty and in this case they can try to keep these beaches shut all they want in warm weather memorial day weekend but people will go to the beach. griff: the people will go surf ing, that's what i heard right there. [laughter] jedediah: and also just a health note. like, vitamin d is important. i mean, you need that. like you really your body needs that, so sure, be responsible outside, absolutely. you can do your social distancing but you need that vitamin d. that is actually going to help your body so that's important to remember. pete: that's true but do not bring a football okay? don't do it? i told you, no football on the beach. no fun. get your vitamin d, but no fun. griff: it's going to be really a bit of a point of contention here because ocean city, maryland which is just south of dewey beach, delaware is opening today. they're open so as of today you can come out there and, you know , 30 miles north you can't. that's going to rub people the wrong way, meanwhile, rick richmuth hasn't needed to go to the beach because he has a tan ning bed installed in his weather center apartment and gets plenty of vitamin d. rick: yeah, wouldn't that be something. there's barely room to walk around my apartment right now with the camera and the light in here now so there's no way. not good for you. pete: just stand in front of the light a little bit. rick: let's talk a little weather. guys, so there's a lot of weather going on including a nice day today across parts of mid-atlantic and the north east which we finally have, we had a great day yesterday with all that sunshine and warm temperatures finally don't worry it's not going to last. we did have a couple of big storms we're watching one is across parts of texas, incredibly strong storms cutting across the coastal areas, throughout the morning hours you'll see all of the flashes of lightning and then we're watching a storm out across parts of florida to the east of it that little rotation probably will become our first tropical system of the year as arthur, two weeks ahead of the official start of the hurricane season we're expecting a very active year this summer, guys, be ready , and this is your first warning of the first storm on its way. all right guys back to you. griff: rick thanks very much. coming up, we still got a lot more, coming up on fox & friends hold my pouch. trust us. us kids are ready to take things into our own hands. don't think so? >> they really should and one thing is all of the other hospitals were full but we have the javits center one-third empty, the comfort the ship that president trump setup here with 182 beds filled out of a thousand so not like there were alternatives to send people where they could go and be isolated to not get healthy seniors infected and ultimately killed. he needs to be held to account on this and i wish the media would do it. i'm hearing a little bit of criticism in new york. pete: that's true, well, deroy, thank you so much for joining us we appreciate you. >> thank you, pete. pete: still ahead we're used to things exploding when our next guest stops by fox & friends and now steve spangler joins us live , but he's there with diy science projects for kids, that is not a flame thrower or maybe it is and he's bringing it to you. these are extraordinary times, and we want to thank the extraordinary people in the healthcare community, working to care for all of us. at novartis, we promise to do our part. as always, we're doing everything we can to help keep cosentyx accessible and affordable. if you have any questions at all, call us, email us, visit us online. we're here to help support you when you need us. take care, and be well. to learn more, call one eight four four cosentyx or visit cosentyx.com pete: oh, better days but our next guest visits fox & friends studio, we're usually, he's usually making things explode. jedediah: but this morning he joins us f his studio with awesome science experiments you can do with your kids at home. griff: founder of the spangler science club and emmy award winning host, the diy steve spangler joins us now, good morning, steve what have you got for us, water suspension? >> [laughter] look at this. we're in, it looks like a kitchen, it is our set of diy, i just put quick things together to be able to show you in preparation to talk to you about our stem camp that we're getting to do for kid since they are in lockdown. these are simple things that you can do at home. canning jar, got it. empty. and you pour the water inside, so the water goes inside like this , remember we always say, do this in a friend's home not at your home but in a friend's home this goes on top, and watch this. ready? water, but now watch. bam! look at that. the water is actually floating in here, but watch all i have to do is tip, and water comes back out. i know. magic. it's not. look at this. inside let me show you what it looks like here. i actually have a piece of screen so i'm using a screen and that allows the water molecules to hook in so you can do it at home like with a bottle to see the little screen that i have here on the bottle i'll show you what the closeup looks like watch if i just turn my hand over like this the water molecules will hook between the screen because of something called cohesion and it stays there and if i tip it like this then of course the water starts to come out again so great thing to do over somebody 's head, perfect. absolutely perfect. look at this. i'm just using styrofoam cups and you'll hook the cups together with some tape, so i have some tape here, hook the cups together and so they are going to look like this when you're done. so now, i've taken some rubber bands, i'll show you up close what that looks like i'll just hook these rubber bands together like this so now watch you'll spin the cup, but in order to do this , you just kind of spin this around like this , and now, you pull back and when you pull back and you let go, it spins the cup and gives the cup lift. watch this , ready, and bam! pete: that looked very cool. >> isn't that fun so it's that lift that you get as you spin it around like this , up and around and back like this that downward kind of force, boom. pete: very cool. steve we love it. we got to leave it right there but you can get a new week in june of your sold out virtual stem camp for fox & friends viewers if people go to steve spangler.com you got another week right for our fox viewers?
