We put a lot more police into the crowd both undercover and uniformed officers. But, again, you cant cover everything. If you are in an arena or stadium. Its a lot easier to cover a target thats not moving or spread out like that. There will be significant presence by the Chicago Police department. But the greatest protection we have, unfortunately didnt work in las vegas. Which is our intelligence that we share with our partners like the fbi working on terrorism and trying to prevent these things from happening. By the way im not ready to dismiss terrorism in las vegas. This guy doesnt fit the profile of what would normally have been somebody who became radicalized but by the same token, he obviously carried out a wellplanned, wellexecuted, technical attack.
