the ferguson police department a majority or at least many of them may be caucasian. their skin color may be white. does that mean they can't arrest anybody who is minority, anybody whnt skin color. >> so the president has made a lot of this this is just another example of white racism, which is america's biggest problem. he made that point gwenn in the interview with joe madison. and don't let this fool you, joe madison is way fair out on the issues. but here's what he said. >> i don't think that is typical of what happens across the country, but it's not an isolated incident. i think that there are circumstances in which trust between communities and you law enforcement have broken down and individuals or entire departments may not have the training or the accountability to make sure that they're protecting and serving all people and not just some. >> they need help in other words. where is the help going to come from? >> well, the department of justice. because it seems that they didn't look at the united states as a whole and figure out are there systemic problems within law enforcement across the country. some are arguing andy mccarthy being one of them takehat what the department does is wait for an incident like ferguson to go in and dismantle police departments. take a listen. >> they come in, usually on some incident that gets attention they don't have a prayer of making civil rights case on the individual incident on the basis of the law, but they use it as a pretext to go in and do what they call a pattern or practices case which to make&í a long story short does a statistical analysis of all the arrests and if you look at it the way racial bean counters look at it, they deduce that there must be racism becase of the number of minority people arrested compared to the number -- >> well what about that? it's only one hour. sometimes you lose an hour of sleep because the kind of lifestyle you have on tv but you still survive and nothing happens, but there are changes that happens physiologically you're not aware of. the numbers just mentioned. on monday morning the study shows there's an increase of 25% heart attack or 17% car accidents. >> wow. >> what do i do? i always try, on days like this, i try to get on the roadway before anybody else so you're not exposed to these kinds of accidents. there are things you can do. for example, on saturdays today, i always change the clock already, because my system has 24 hours to get used to it. zoom in on this watch. you can see that the time is already changed. so between now and tomorrow, i'm already ready for this. >> it's like, to travel internationally, a lot of people do that, to fight off jet lag. we're essentially going to be jet-lagged monday morning? >> exactly right. by one hour. go to bed earlier by one hour or things to do to make your bedroom comfortable. no caffeine or alcohol before you go to bed. temperature around mid-50s, not too hot or cold. don't exercise right before you go to bed because you'll be wired up, and put your cell phones, put them away. >> keep them in another room. plug them in. >> what about eating? >> so not a huge, fatty food right before you go to bed. a have gr pointood point. you'll be uncomfortable and be up. i recommend a cup of tea. chamomile tea is really good. if you have trouble sleeping take a very small dose of melatonin. very small dose of melatonin kind of calms you down. for me, the trick is change the time today on saturday, by the time you get to tonight i'm already set for it. >> morning exercise is best. don't overdo it throughout the afternoon and stay away from the electronics and caffeine before bed? >> two things. first of all it depends on the content. and that's going to remain to be seen, and that will depend on what a congressional committee comes up with. if there's connections to foreign policy the clinton foundation, other things that could be a problem but at this point i don't know that this really registers with the american people and the voters in the primaries concerned about jobs, wages, retirement security. health care. foreign policy, energy, environment. those are things that people are paying attention to. >> but doesn't this play to the narrative, though, of the clintons? and isn't that troubling for voters this idea that they're secretive, have shady behind-the-scene dealings going on? doesn't that just play to that narrative? >> it could but at the same time, at this point and i'm talking about at this point in time it could, to some people seem like a niktechnicality. it could be bigger but i'd be cautious about projecting from whatever information is available at this moment, because we just don't know. >> i'm interested in the point you made a second ago that the democratic base, primary voters. people who actually choose the nominee hillary clinton took more money from wall street than anybody in the united states senate when she served there. not a populist an elitist. they're going to nominate her? why? >> well secretary clinton has a great deal of affection among the democratic base, based on her years of service. now, if she is challenged in a primary her position on some of those issues should come up but at this point, it's not clear that she's going to have any opposition in the primary. and so there is in a sense a closing of ranks that's occurred behind her candidacy, which may or may not be affected by the kinds of events you're reporting this morning. >> can she decouple herself from the obama administration? to tucker point, yesterday we saw a cover story in the "new york times" about, yes, this economy is burning and churning, wall street doing very well but wages stagnant not rising with this grows economy. can she decouple herself particular the legacy that has given us those stagnant wages? >> she can and she will. the -- what the secretary would have trouble explaining though, is the long-term impact of trade agreements that happened during the time that bill clinton was president, but you know, again, i think that the issues that will take shape looks like at this point they'll take shape in a general election. so it's very difficult to forecast from this moment that e-mails will be an issue in a general election where i think international policy economy, wages, jobs environment. those things will matter. now, if the content of those e-mails connects to foreign policy decisions, clinton foundation, political matters, campaign, then you're looking at the potential for a whole new ball game, but that's not clear at this point. >> we'll find out. congressman dennis kucinich. thanks for joining us this morning. >> thank you. coming up -- sorry tucker? >> no, sir. no, sir. >> his finger wasn't loaded. right? >> no, sir. >> okay. so he didn't actually hurt anyone? >> no, sir. >> huh. how do you feel about this? >> i think the policy that they followed and the punishment they gave out do not fit the crime. not to mention after this story aired on the news about it, we received four more accusations of him getting in trouble at school without any documentation, or us being notified. so i think this is an attempt to give him problems, and -- further complicate situations. >> i guess that's what you get for complaining. we have a semiintelligible statement from the school. we encourage parents to be an integral part of disciplinary actions. our administration considers the offending behavior and past with infractions. i don't know what that means. bottom line,ñi elijah put his finger in the shape of a gun and that in effect was unacceptable. what affect do you think this is having on him? >> i don't know if it's having much affect on him but it's just later down on the road, or whenever just bringing up situations that could trouble him. >> so who -- >> if i can ask, who specifically fingered him if i can use the phrase, for this crime? was it a teacher? was it one of the other kids? >> it was the assistant principal. she had walked up on to the class that he was in, and elijah did not know the april assistant principal principal was standing there and made the gesture, bang you're dead. >> has the school shown any sign of embarrassment, acknowledgement, that maybe they overreacted a little bit? >> in a sense, yes, but they haven't -- you know, take didn't that far, as to letting us know that. >> all right. >> you know, she -- the principal that i met with yesterday, you know, if she can't make a judgment call like that -- >> right, on. >> on a reasonable punishment all she is a high-paid message from the government. >> well, i'm no expert, but it doesn't look dangerous to me. good luck. >> thank you sir. what do you think? >> a marine corps veteran who found the job search a challenge and now is the director of operations and logistics at plated a new york city meal delivery service and here with tip what's she learn and her journey along the way. good morning. >> thank you for having me. good morning. >> thank you for your service and for coming in. you say when you got out of the marine corps you had no idea that it was going to be such a challenge to find a job? >> no idea. i didn't take a lot of time to think about what i wanted to do. i came to business school and had the opportunity to select a career path. there are many options available. i did not sit down and think about it. as a result i chased a lot of leads that made no sense for me to chase. wasted a lot of time. very frustrating. i mean, you're used to being in charge and running the show and now you're at the mercy of a system you're not familiar with. >> now you're employed. there are a lot of folks wondering, how did that happen? you have tips. number one, list what you want. a clear head. understand exactly what you're doing after? >> a very difficult thing to do. it's hard to prioritize for anyone, not just a veteran. i had it sit down and think what i wanted from a career, where i wanted to live, what kinds of jobs i wanted 20 do. unfortunately i didn't do it until a year and a half in. a little late. do it immediately before you leave the military and stoic that. if you chase something on that list it's not going to make you happy and you're going to waste time, honestly. >> and craft a confident 60-second pitch. >> a tough one. a lot of veteran used to talking about themselves. the military's not about you. it's about the people that work for you, the people next to you, the organization as a whole. so it's very difficult to talk about yourself and to sell yourself. so you get to that point in an interview, everyone gets to that point, tell me about yourself and i wasn't used to selling myself. it's nothing i ever had to do. so i sat down, thought about it pushed into a 60-second pitch i practiced all the time. until i was comfortable and didn't feel like i was not being true to who i was and the experiences i'd had. >> a nice word track. somebody asked you boom. i gotcha. your elevator speech? >> it's not boasting. military people are uncomfortable, think they're cocky, you earned the right to auk about your experience and you should. >> good for them. the only hesitant to brag about themselves. >> i like that. >> and a lot of experience from the military sometimes it may not translate well enough to the employer, they might not understand it. how do you translate those experiences to the workplace. >> it's tough. i can tell when in an interview i'm trying to tell somebody about an experience and it's not computing. spend half of my 60 seconds, whatever it was explaining myself. not everyone's going to understand it. that's fine. a marine squadron, you can't translate into 60 seconds. i chose to go a different route and take stories little vignettes from the experiences i had and choose to tell those instead of trying to list the low points. you make a better connection with the person across from you. it tells a better story, and gets your point across. >> think about that even when writing out your resume. don't use a bunch of acronyms? >> marijuana is a serious drug with serious consequences and we're finding it out and new york city is finding it out fast. new york city is sort of a microcosm for something that's going to be happening all across the country. this is actually a classic example, clayton, of what is known as broken windows policing problems. the broken windows theory was in an arena in a fwlabd there'sthere's a broken window you don't fix it sends a message. next week all the windows broken. after that someone's living there, and they're going to burn it down. you have to pay attention to the small things and reinforce the moral norms. commissioner bill bratton, new york city, he knows this. it's, he's an advocate for it. he knows how to reinforce the morals for in the community to create civic spees so people don't withdraw and get fearful. when mayor de blasio changed the rules, no longer arrests for marijuana use, no longer stop and frisk, will no longer have buy and bust it sent a message hey, it's a free for all. you can bring marijuana in and pretty soon, guess what? the violent consequences started. marijuana has consequences, and it's now degrading the neighborhood with a huge increase, surge in crime and including murder. >> the nypd says the murtders are a result of dealers being ripped off. >> yeah. >> but i think, you know, for our viewers, help us understand how crime in denver could plummet, but crime in new york city could rise? do we have enough data to suggest the two are totally related? >> actually, the crime situation in denver is -- it pretty much is in flux. we are seeing a number of pathologies and indicators ouch colorado that are actually very negative. traffic fatalities, crime rates, school difficulties and delinquency problems. public health emergencies involving burns, involving overdoses from marijuana, it's a very very bad record that's appearing there from the actually billions of dollars of a cash business that is starting to attract just as we saw in amsterdam in holland as we saw in vancouver organized crime, racketeering impact, sex trade, prostitution and scandal. the violence that accompanies the presence of an addictive substance, predators and prey start to show up and degrade the neighborhoods. here's a fact for you. in new york city, 52% of the men arrested for any crime, for knocking over a taxicab or for assault and battery had marijuana in their system at the time of arrest. >> wow. >> we know this from urine analysis. the drg imcompares their ability to think clearly and it's linked to crime and also linked then to community effect for drawing more crime, more violence. so new york's microcosm is seeing the surge in violence and in murders is actually going to happen across the country as colorado dope is spreading beyond the borders of colorado proper. that's why states like nebraska and oklahoma are suing the law enforcement in rocky mountains, already established 40 states have received smuggled marijuana, very high potency, qualitatively different dope that has a huge impact on youth and on the community where it arrives and this is starting to spread. the nation's going to go in the same pathway. it's a self-inflicted wound, clayton. we didn't have to do this. >> very troubling, and fascinating at the same time. dr. david murray. appreciate you joining us and enlightening us about this. thanks, doctor. coming up here on the show wisconsin about to become the 25th right to work state in the nation. so are actions like this making scott walker a 2016 front-runner? >> if that's what's necessary we're prepared to do that. >> why? because two parts of this investigation, one to tucker's point about darren wilson unpacked the whole case showing the eyewitness testimony disproved a lot of what was said that his -- that his hands were up in the don't shoot position the entire time, may have reached into the police car, that apparently did not happen. the other side of this report though shows what some are calling institutional racism in the city of ferguson going after what some have also called low-hanging fruits in e-mails. that is minorities in the community who couldn't afford to pay traffic tickets going to prison as a result of it. municipal court judge specifically targeting those individuals in e-mails and released documents basically saying you can't afford to pay the traffic tickets so you go to jail, targeting them to fulfill a quota. >> because these instances may have been happening once or twice in this police force, or in other police forces, is this just one bad apple, or is this part of the culture among police forces across the country? here what president obama thinks. >> i don't think that is typical of what happens across the country, but it's not an isolated incident. i think that there are circumstances in which trust between communities and law enforcement have broken down and individuals or entire departments may not have the training or accountability to make sure that -- they are protecting and serving all people and not just some. >> not just some. there's a word for that. it's called racism and exactly what the president is saying. taking over health care, education and now take over your police department. that's exactly what's going on here pap federal attempt to federalize local law enforcements and the inpose speech codes sensitivity training and more federal control nap is the story here. >> yet there are serious problems with this report. i mean, when you look at the fees created as a result for instance, ronald brockmeyer the judge in ferguson that municipal court judge specifically boasting about creating these fees, targeting these individuals, there are problems with it. >> big time. >> but is it nationwide? dr. aveda king was on the show and said, yes, there is a problem, but federalizing it is not the solution. listen. >> the real solution is bringing heart back to the people, to the police department because you know, when it's revenue driven. when you tell officers they have to write so many tickets, make so many arrests they begin not to see people. when you tell people, be afraid of these folks, they forget that they're there to protect us. so the answer is to not privatize or nationalize the police services, but to really look at what the systemic issues are and work on those systemic issues. >> and just to be clear. i'm not defending the ferguson police department. i have no problem believing it was substandard. there are a lot of substandard police departments but communities have a right to field their own police departments to protect themselves and the federal government doesn't run police departments but now are trying to and we should be totally clear, that's what's going on. >> and good leaders would be behooved if they would foster environments that made the community members get along with police officers and is that what we see from president obama? is that what we see from eric holder? >> writing on facebook when it comes to federalization of local police, if things were tough before wait until you have a group of officers with no connection to the local communities. good point. >> and scott doj has no right to go into a local police department. tell that to them. >> go to our facebook page ffweekend on facebook. and hearing it is possible one of the five individuals in the taliban five released from guantanamo bay a number of months ago in the bowe bergdahl swap which had gone back to qatar, watching them like a hawk, worried one may have returned back to the battlefield and joined back up with taliban leadership. a new report says that is likely happened. >> sorry to laugh. this is exactly what everyone who was watching this carefully said. you take people out of gitmo and no one thinks gitmo's the perfect answer to anything but once you release these guys what do you think's going to happen? now it turns ouá that's exactly what happened, and this is not something made up by opponents of the president. this is the determination of the director of national intelligence this happened. rear admiral kirby asked about it when the bergdahl swap happened. here's what he said at that time. >> we have a good security partnership with the government of qatar. they have provided assurances and i can tell you we are comfortable at the defense department that we can mitigate any threat that could be posed by any one of these individuals in terms of terrorist activity. again, i can't talk about the details. i can tell you we're very comfortable though, we can mitt ghat threat. >> mitigate the threat and trust the gat tarry government. they're watching them. turns out everything's fine. >> all five of still in qatar. an argument can be made. well, these guys are rock stars in the terror community. does that not mean they're helping recruit and radicalize from afar when we hear reports at least one is communicating with terrorists? >> the report from the director of national intelligence reports, predicts flat out for detaineeless return in the fight against the united states and says 116 of them already have. 116 out of 647 released. >> and 69 of them may have engaged in jihad and look at this. 12 of them have returned to the battlefield this past year alone. >> the director of national intelligence has put up this biannual report saying this based on drentds phied during the past 11 years, some detainees currently at gitmo will seek to re-engage in terrorist or insurgent act tivgties after they are transferred. >> kind of the end of the story. no? is it possible that the white house, you know what? we'll release a few more and hope for the best? after that report from their own director of national intelligence? i don't think they can do that. can they? and who else may be getting in? here to weigh in is the former governor of the state of new york george pataki. glad to see you this morning. thanks for coming on. >> good morning. nice being with you, tucker. >> for those watching this race it's muddier and more confusing than it's been in my lifetime, anyway. it's not clear what will happen. what are republican voters looking for? >> it's not clear what will happen. that makes it extremely exciting. you mentioned governor walker. obviously a very strong candidate if he chooses to run but there are a great many strong republican candidates, and to predict this is like predicting the weather a year from now. you just can't do it. so all you can do is look at the ideas and the issues and the records of the people who are out there and see where we go from here. >> so if you could boil it down to a single issue there are many out there the world is falling apart, but narrow it down to one that will be prime in this season of primaries what would it be? what's the main issue? >> i think the main thing is we have to restore the american people's confidence in our future. we've always been a country dreamed and believed in a better future and today if you ask too many americans they say the best of america's behind us. not because of the failing of the people. it's a failing of government. we have to retake washington. mick them understand they're not our masters dictating our lives, they're our servants. if ke do that we can bring americans back to believing the best ask ahead. >> yes. tame the arrogance of washington. are you getting into this race? >> i'm in iowa now. the first-ever iowa ag summit and really looking forward to it. probably there will be eight or nine or ten of us considering it. i believe that we need to change the direction of this government more than we ever have in my lifetime. i can't say i'm in, but i'm certainly looking at it. >> the iowa ag summit? where are you on ethanol? >> well, that's a complicated thing, but the big question is how do we revise rural america society and economically? i have a lot of thoughts on that. i grew up, believe it or not, governor of new york grew up on a small farm in upstate new york. i have a lot of thoughts on ethanol. i don't believe in government mandates or in government telling people what they have to buy but i think there are a lot of opportunities for clean, domestic renewable fuels like ethanol in the united states. >> so those of us who are following you when should we look for to you make this decision, whether you're in or out of this presidential race? >> and nice to see you. labels can be misleading. throwing away way too much food? >> expiration dates of voluntary dates that the stores put on more for quality not for safety. so when you see that expiration date, don't just toss the food. some foods can be eaten after the expiration date pap great way to save money and save food. >> and the cash. some of your favorite foods, you want to eat it. that's why you bought it. >> absolutely. >> first up talk about milk and meats. >> so meats, you want to cook them or freeze them within two to three days of bringing them home. they're really the ones -- meats are the things that can make you sick, if you eat them after the expiration date. when it comes to milk five days. at least five days after the expiration date once it's been opened. yogurt once yogurt is opened, about week. you know, i literally have opened unopened container of yogurt, a month after and it's fine. >> what if you see mold growing in it? pick the mold out and eat around it? >> a great question and that means that the bacteria are starting to be killed often. your best bet, toss it. you don't want to pick around any mold in cheese or dairy products. just get rid of it. >> what about eggs? this is surprising. >> wegeggs? weeks with eggs after the expiration date. if you drop an egg into water and it sinks it's good. but if it floats then it's not good because they're porous and the gases are starting to get into the shell of the egg. if you drop an egg in water and it floats, it's not good. throw it out. >> tucker changed my life recently about cheeses. saying don't refrigerated cheeses anymore. keep them in a cheese -- how long can we keep cheeses before they go bad? >> hard cheeses, parmesan romano, weeks for hard cheeses. it's it's soft cheeses the brie, you want to use them within a couple days. >> tucker's had a block of cheese for four years he's been working on and eating. >> pulls 0 ut a block of cheese out of his pocket this morning. >> my mother-in-law is dutch and they don't refrigerate their cheese at all. they leave it out. the hard cheeses you have a really long time. your nose, your eyes and your tastes are really a good determination, too. >> dig down. freezer burn on the freezer stuff? >> frozen stuff, it's really all about quality. not about safety. freezer burn all heard of freezer burn. you'll know when you take it out, smells like freezer burn, doesn't smell well. frozen products really can last relatively indefinitely. through the armageddon. >> yes. >> how about these dried products? cereals? popcorn? >> if they're not crunchy, they're stale, can last a very, very long time in an airtight container. it's your taste and smell. toss it if it smells soar stale. >> finally, baguettes. >> bread products. i broke that one. >> stale? >> surprised it came out of virginia but not surprised by the story. the fact is that this type of recruitment for radical groups has gone on my entire lifetime. think back to the '60s to '70s were when an heiress to a publisher can join the liberation army and other individuals from good homes joined manson and heaven's gate and lots of other groups, jim jones in guyana. this radicalization might be different in we face an ideological that's global making it much more of a threat. i can understand why the fbi would want to warn law enforcement to alert people in their communities this could be a problem anywhere. >> who's most at risk for this type of recruitment? >> i would say young kids that are either looking for answers in life or want to belong. it's no ditch than kidsfferent than kids in the inner city wanting to join gangs only this gang is global. not just the poor and underpoliticalunder underprivileged, they are individuals that can come from healthy families be well-educated as we've seen in the report on jihadi john. hijackers on 9/11, degreed individuals that came mostly from wealthy or moderate families. this isn't a family that fits in one socioeconomic group. the ideology can permeate anybody, anywhere including those outside the muslim faith as wreev seen recently. >> what advice are they giving to stop this? >> if that's what's necessary, we're prepared to do that. >> federal takeover of local larm. is that what's needed? >> well i haven't seen a report, perhaps the attorney general of the united states thinks that kind of a drastic mesh is necessary. there cloerly was some problems. you wouldn't have had the reaction after the situation if there hadn't been something there, so i think the jus tuss department goes in, they're looking for something, but i don't think it was too hard for them to find something that needed to be fixed, but you might be able to say that about many different police forces, but dismantling it taking away the local police officers and replacing them sounds like a very drastic move and i don't think it would help solve the problems. >> isn't this just another chapter in the same story of federal takeovers, health care education, now the feds are requiring i think all police departments to go through sensitivity training and affirmative action standards. isn't there a power grab underway? >> and a fact yur to recognize what they're doing for most poor communities in america. police officers save more lives than anybody else. they help prevent crimes, just here this new york city, the police force, more than half of the people coming into the police force are not white. they are joining the police force from all different cultures and ethnicityies and they're out on the front lines. the what the administration failed to do and what government can't heal is the family. so that is the root cause of it. federal takeovers of all america is not going to change the fact we have a serious breakdown in the family, which is leading to a lot of problems. >> there is twoparts of the report, also the alleged targeting of minorityies minorities. for things like traffic violations and things to bring in revenue. in other words, racism. president obama responded. >> i don't think that it is typical of what happens across the country, but it's not an isolated incident. i think there are circumstances in which trust between communities and law enforcement have broken down and individuals or entire departments may not have the training or accountability to make sure that they are protecting and serveing all people and not just some. >> how do you respond? where is this come ging from? >> i think i know. i see it in my own children's education. the curriculum is basically a litany of american sins. >> before you get to college? >> absolutely. if you tell kids throughout their entire career in cool, america's terrible why should you be surprised when they hate the flag? zbr i'm worried about the future. your previous guest when you said they are our future, we will be living under their leadership, i don't see how do they change their minds. >> it can't write. you want to read this because this is what tucker's referring to. this is the statement from the school, the university of california. the resolution. the american flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism. they serve not only as symbol but also cultural mythologies and narratives that in turn charge nationalistic. if you were at the podium and you spoke like that would reporters look at you quizzically? here to debate is child psychologist susan lipkins and former teacher whitney neil. thinks it's a great plan. >> i think play is really important. it helps kids to learn the information they got during the day. it teaches them how to socialize, how to be emotionally appropriate. why? because we don't have enough time to play. it's an absolutely fabulous idea. i'm really happy to hear it. >> but when kids bring their work home to parents, dubt that encourage parents to be involved in the education process and to see hey, mom and dad really value this education learning is important. what do you say, whitney? >> i agree. kids bringing homework home gives the parents what kind of idea of what's happen ng the classroom. it connects that parent and teacher together with the child. and when you remove that opportunity, it's detrimental to the parent. now, play is wonderful. i support the fact we're encouraging more play. we should also be encouraging parents and teachers to communicate in the education of their child. >> this is what the principal says. here's what he says. she says there have been a variety of studies conducted on the effects of homework in the elementary grade and not one of them could provide any evidence that directly links traditional homework prak miss tiss with future academic success. so for the importants who think they're kids won't be able to keep up later on in future grades and schools in college, for example, how are they going to keep up if they've never had to go anything on their own? >> i don't think homework is the way to learn how to keep up. i think we have to teach them kind of skills they will need in the future and if kids are having problems and need repetition, they need to be dealt with specifically for each child's problem. >> there's another theory out there. that this is all the unions and their employ to make teachers not have to do as much work. what do you say about that whitney? >> as a teacher, i encouraged tuntds to treat every child as the individual they were. some kids may have had a different assignment the to supplement skills and things they needed to work harder on. i firm lyly believe that reasonable amounts of homework treating every child as an independent kid is not going hurt children. in fact, it's going to like i said, parent and teacher involvement and those good teachers sh the teachers that see their students can grow and can be better students from having access to opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, i think those would be disappointed in this policy because you've taken their ability to make that decision away. >> is there a balance that could be reached instead? >> absolutely, there could be a balance and that is basically what we're doing. there's a work life kind of balance people want as adults and why shouldn't kids have that and they need to play. the curriculum has been crushed down to little kids, 3, 4, 5 and this is a great idea. >> we appreciate your thoughts this morning, ladies. very nice, spirited debate. and everybody at home, what do you think? >> obama's discretion is going to cost upwards of a half a billion dollars a year. nearly $484 billion a year. by the admission of the obama administration. and a they want to hire 3100 people. they're paying in one build, $660,000 a month in rent and in the first year, they've handled 1.4 million applications. this is a massive amnesty program and all this money again, no authorization and law. >> so these are direct costs. not taking into account the effect of wages that will be depressed by more low wage immigrants or the competition american born workers will have for jobs. these are just direct government costs. >> and a that's right. dhs doesn't have incident spending, even though it is a federal agency so the money has to come from somewhere and our experience with the last dream act amnesty which was also illegal, basically, the handling of legal applications for green cards shut down, so if you were a u.s. citizen trying to get your foreign born wife into the country, you had to wait a year, but if you were an illegal alien, you're stamped right through. >> so, the united states is paying just again, direct costs, many other costs associated, but half a billion dollars to break u.s. law. why?
