people over the weekend. >> reporter: boeing has full confidence in the safety of the 737 max 8. the ethiopian airlines jet that crashed killing all 157 passengers on board. there is a growing list of countries not allowing these planes to fly in their airspace. the european union aviation safety agency announced yesterday it was suspending all boeing 737 max 8 flights in europe as a, quote, precautionary measure. the eu joins china, australia and several other countries in grounding these boeing jets. the united states has yet to do so. the faa says our review shows no systematic performance issues and provides no basis to order grounding the aircraft. aviation experts joined the show earlier saying the faa is making the right call. >> one of the things these people are missing is in the united states and ethiopia there is one big difference, the airlines themselves. our airlines are safer. the us faa is doing the right thing despite world opinion. >> reporter: school in the first place. i can imagine how unprepared they will be for the real world, when paying to get what you want doesn't work and this is such an insult to the hard-working students i work with. they have a hard to get into good schools and get their degrees. it is unfortunate those students work is being discredited by being able to pay to get what you want. jillian: there are only certain number of slots and some students missed out at the opportunity to go to this court as a result. let's listen to olivia jade, lori laughlin's youngest daughter. >> i don't know how much of school will attend, but i want the experience of game days and partying. i don't really care about school. jillian: i don't care about school so the girl with 2 million youtube polymers and however many on instagram. what should the school do about this? the top spot. >> a lot of schools had no idea this was going on aside from a few bad actors but what we have to do is hold schools accountable which it seems law enforcement is doing. this seems to stem from this mentality in our culture that going to a college a good college is your one way to get you success whether it is a good job or certain income but as we know we don't get to just waltz into a good job without working for improving our merit. students like olivia jade who say i want to have party and have game days, it is unfortunate she thinks the just going to a good school be her 1-way ticket. will be a rude awakening if she things she can party her way into a great job. rob: going back to what she said there are kids who kill themselves for an opportunity to go to usc or yale and to hear her write it off shows the entitlement and let's see the statement from the ncaa, the charges brought forth are troubling and should be a concern for all higher education, we are looking into these allegations in determining the extent to which rules may have been violated. that is their side of it. the colleges here, it appears, for the most part, are victims of this as well. they had the slimy people working in their institutions figuring out how to angle this but they didn't know. >> i hope the universities are able to fix this problem. there is good reporting on this issue, there's been a lot of coverage, shining a light and holding people accountable for these things because this is fraudulent and not necessarily representative of people who work hard to get into a good school and all the students who bust themselves to get into a good college and it is important we recognize those students who work hard and missed opportunities because of this and hold them accountable who are committing fraud which is what this is. jillian: and pay for it themselves. rob: a lot of these people had it do they have a chance to debate that? dave brown and national press secretary for trump 2020 campaign kaylee mcinerney. these two didn't win their races but they took on nearly impossible paths of winning races in very red states. they must be good and talented in some respects. >> i think you nailed it. they have national profiles because they did what no one thought possible, texas and georgia competitive for democrats. if anything both those states demographics, becoming increasingly competitive in 2020. i take issue when someone refers to them as losers. they are framing the question wrong. democrats only running democratic state and republicans should only running republican states. the key point is just because they lost in their respective senate races or gubernatorial races doesn't mean they wouldn't be incredibly competitive nationally. rob: it is tough to make a governor in georgia or republican senator in texas, they did that. >> rest assured texas and georgia are not at play in the cycle, donald trump won those states candidly. there is a different candidate on the ballot this time around, it is donald trump, the person -- he did not just win red states that. states, michigan and pennsylvania, states not won since 1984 or 1988 and came within a point and a half of minnesota, estate no republican has taken since 1972. they are not against the conventional republican but the guy who wins in blue states. >> maybe they should look at somebody from the rustbelt. that would be a better investment. >> and we are. the like senator lllobucar appeal to that democratic. donald trump won for dogcatcher, wouldn't be able to win. he did lose the popular vote. i want to remind everybody he won the electoral college -- >> electoral landslide. rob: we could debate that all day. the second topic entitlements in this country. a conversation that drives me crazy. we spend crazy in this country, far more than we bring in, $1 trillion a year, the president is somewhat attempting to go after entitlement, medicare, medicaid, social security, welfare programs. is this the right move or will this come back to hunt him? >> donald trump was clear he will protect beneficiaries of social security, medicare, medicaid, let's target money and responsible way, balance the budget, people who need the investment, his budget, balances the budget and invests in men and women across the country who need childcare in underserved communities, targets medicaid to those who need it. be smart with the dollars we spend. those who are truly in need. rob: no other politicians have the guts to touch entitlements. what do you think?
